Het hotel ligt tussen de bomen, eerste instantie ziet het er leuk uit, maar er moet nog veel opgeknapt worden. Er hing een soort slootwater lucht om het pand en omdat wij het raam open hadden omdat het te warm was op de kamer, ook in de kamer. Er hangt een ventilatiekastje, maar die werkte niet omdat we maar een simpele kamer hadden. Een ventilator konden we krijgen. De bar was volgens mij altijd open. Erg luidrustig, er hingen veel mensen rond. Op de parkeerplaats tot laat in de nacht auto's met koplampen aan en gepraat van mensen. Er is een sportgedeelte en zwembad( dat was erg blauw). Telefoon trouwens geen bereik, je bent afhangelijk van de wifi. Her en der wat gebreken die wel gemaakt mogen worden, de vloer erg bobbelig

J'ai réservé une chambre avec balcon et vu sur jardin seulement en contrebas il y a un bassin dans lequel il avait une prolifération de batraciens qui ont coassés toute la nuit un enfer même fenêtre fermé. Gros bémol sur le petit déjeuner pour 30€ prix excessif compte tenu de la qualité des produits proposés (pas d'orange pressée par ex). Piscine vide. Sinon le cadre est top

Stayed here in a triple room. 2 adults, 1 child. Room was generally on the small side. Bathroom had no shower curtain/screen so the whole bathroom got wet every time someone showered. Small indoor pool, not very deep but my daughter enjoyed. Staff were friendly. Cute cats around the property. Bar and restaurant looked nice though we didn't eat there.

Perfect moment after a whole day in Pairi Daiza Zoo, this hotel give a peaceful moment, we play snooker in the morning and some other client in the swiming pool..that really cool... The breakfast is really good. much offer and delicious. Big love.

Hotel intéressant dans un cadre sympa, au milieu des bois Malheureusement le confort n'est pas terrible, l'insonorisation étant mauvaise on entend trop les bruits des divers voisins et personnes qui marchent et parlent dans le couloir Le pire est plutôt au niveau du parking, bien trop petit par rapport au nombre de chambres / clients du restaurant. Cela amène certains à se garer dans les allées du parking, obligeant alors de faire demi-tour au bout d'allées étroites, ou encore pire, cela oblige de nombreux véhicules à aller se garer sur la route, se trouvant dans les bois, donc sans aucune zone de parking correcte sauf les bas côtés, dans la boue !

Mooie ruime nette kamer met koelkastje en waterkoker. Vriendelijk onthaald. Omwille van de energiecrisis was het binnenzwembadwater zeer koud (men zei 24 graden maar ik betwijfel dat. Het voelde nog kouder aan). Dat was niet aangekondigd bij de boeking, dus een grote teleurstelling.

Nice setting with a good gym and private sauna. Some good products, but the service in the restaurant is not up to scratch, the products and breakfast are not up to scratch and the soundproofing in the rooms is poor.

C’est une sorte de arnaque. Arrivé dans le hall, on voit le restaurant et on se dit : « wow, comme c’est beau ». La réception est très accueillante. De grandes attentes donc. Et puis on découvre les chambres… La salle de bain est sale, dégage une odeur d’égoutante, et les carreaux au sol et aux murs sont jaunis. La poubelle de la salle de bain était encore remplie de produits d’hygiène usagés. Je n’ai pas besoin d’en dire plus. Le matelas est trop mou et les murs sont sales. Cet hôtel ne mérite absolument pas ses trois étoiles, nous ne reviendrons pas.

Nous avons été relogé dans u e chambre plus spacieuse et moins vétuste mais la propreté laisse à désirer : noeud à cheveux des clients précédents encore à terre et pistaches entières entre le meuble de la tv et le mur… un petit mot à l’équipe nettoyage qui visiblement ne passe pas l’aspirateur. Le personnel est très accueillant et fait son possible. Un hôtel bien situé et avec du potentiel mais nettoyage et rafraîchissement à prévoir.

Trés déçu par cet hotel chambre sale fuite d’eau pas d’eau chaude suffisament pour prendre 3 douches il faut attendre 1 heure entre chaque douche une honte de la saleté en dessous des lits meme du pain couette dégoutante de la salete et de la poussiére un peu partout pour le prix je m’attendais a une autre qualité.c’est vraiment dommage d’avoir des logements originaux et de ne pas en prendre soin.

De grootte van de kamer was goed. Groot en ruim. Het is rustig gelegen. Kamers zijn best gehorig. Douche was vies. Bruine vlekken in de wc-pot en een vieze douchekop. In de avond douchen kon alleen met koud water iets wat met een kind niet echt fijn is. Kluis was kapot. Airco werkte niet, en alle comfort kamers zouden volgens het hotel een koelkast hebben ( behalve onze comfort kamer waarschijnlijk).

The Utopia hotel is a wonderful gem in the forest near Mons. The front staff is absolutely amazing, courteous, and attentive. The breakfast is €12, and I think it is good value for what you get. The rooms a little bit on the small side, but very clean. I think I gave the four stars, instead of five, because I came back from visiting a friend last night, and the parking lot is very dark. It was raining a lot, and that made it almost spooky to run from my car to the entrance. I wish they would install more lights. Also, be careful, the shower is very, very slippery. Also, I noticed there are no Kleenex, no in room, coffee maker, and no telephone, in case you absolutely have to call the front staff. But I would stay here again, it is comfortable and you have everything you need. Again, the prime staff was exceptional. Thank you so much for all your help. 😀

Fijne kamer, beetje gedateerd. Wastafelkraan zat los, badafvoer sloot niet af, water was niet heel warm, vitrage is slechte staat. Heerlijk bed, fijne douche (ondanks mindere temperatuur). Vriendelijk personeel die onze kaner konden omboeken naar eentje met twee losse bedden en een ligbad.

Staff were polite. Breakfast was ok and decent for the price (about 14 euros). I stayed in a tree house, which seemed a little neglected from a cleaning and maintenance perspective. The shower drained slowly and I asked the front desk to have someone look at it - not sure if they did. There were several smashed dead bugs that hadn't been cleaned off the walls, and the window leaked when it rained. I think it could have been a really cool place - just needs some love.

No wi fi in our room. No extra blankets. Soap dispensers without bar soap. Shower without curtain to keep floor dry (plexiglass panel does not nearly keep floor dry). No safety rails, and these issues are dangerous to anyone, especially the elderly.

Les chambres ont vécu. Pas de chauffage fonctionnel. Un froid épouvantable. Le personnel a toutefois eu pitié et m'a fourni un ventilateur chauffant bruyant et peu efficace.

De kamer was netjes, maar ...lamp hing los vd muur, de plinten stonden los en waren beschadigd en er was een lek net boven de toilet. Er waren slechts enkel franse zenders op tv Ik heb wel onmiddellijk een andere kamer gekregen, die echter heel koud was, maar verder niets op aan te merken. Het avondeten was helaas niet lekker. Het personeel was heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk en als je van katten houdt is het zeker een pluspunt!

Hôtel très sympathique, personnel chaleureux et dont le chef a même accepté de prendre ma commande à la dernière minute! Un vrai réconfort après un long voyage! Le cadre est bucolique. Petit bémol sur l’isolation phonique du rdc. Je n’ai pas eu de chance j’avais la chambre en face de la salle de sport… mais sinon très bien 👍

In de avond douchen kon alleen met koud water iets wat met een kind niet echt fijn is. Kluis was kapot. Airco werkte niet, en alle comfort kamers zouden volgens het hotel een koelkast hebben ( behalve onze comfort kamer waarschijnlijk).

The Utopia hotel is a wonderful gem in the forest near Mons. The front staff is absolutely amazing, courteous, and attentive. The breakfast is €12, and I think it is good value for what you get. The rooms a little bit on the small side, but very clean. I think I gave the four stars, instead of five, because I came back from visiting a friend last night, and the parking lot is very dark. It was raining a lot, and that made it almost spooky to run from my car to the entrance. I wish they would install more lights. Also, be careful, the shower is very, very slippery. Also, I noticed there are no Kleenex, no in room, coffee maker, and no telephone, in case you absolutely have to call the front staff. But I would stay here again, it is comfortable and you have everything you need. Again, the prime staff was exceptional. Thank you so much for all your help. 😀

Leuk concept, slapen in een boomhut. Welk kind wilt dat nou niet? Jammer dat locatie problemen heeft met de stroom. Bijna dagelijks valt de stroom uit hebben wij begrepen, zoals ook tijdens ons verblijf. Helaas deed de wifi in onze boshut het niet. We zijn hiervoor gecompenseerd door een gratis ontbijt te krijgen. Verder prima bedden, heerlijk geslapen en ook ontbijt was prima.

Hôtel très sympathique, personnel chaleureux et dont le chef a même accepté de prendre ma commande à la dernière minute! Un vrai réconfort après un long voyage! Le cadre est bucolique. Petit bémol sur l’isolation phonique du rdc. Je n’ai pas eu de chance j’avais la chambre en face de la salle de sport… mais sinon très bien 👍

Séjours pour 2 nuits, climatisation qui ne fonctionne pas et coupure générale pendant 4 heures pour la derniere nuit, donc pas de wifi, obliger de partir pour diner à l'extérieur surtout après une journée en famille épuisante. Suite à la coupure, le lendemain matin machine a jus d'orange, pomme et eau en panne. Les 2 filles présentes ont assurées un service en donnant ce qui était dispo au bar, bravo pour leurs professionnalisme afin de garantir la satisfaction du client. Pour le diner, il y a un reel manque d'organisation, 1 serveuse et 1 apprentie ne suffit pas pour garantir 50 couverts! Quand a la chambre, oui il y a quelque traces d'humidité et heureusement que le cadre reste idyllique et calme. Quand au propriétaire, pourquoi ne pas faire quelques travaux d'aménagement et embaucher du personnel confirmé en cette période a flux tendu ? C'est un hôtel à fort potentiel, il serait dommage de le délaisser.

Really quiet hotel. Convenient for an overnight stay on our way from the Chunnel to Germany. Staff speak some English, which was a nice bonus when we called because we were going to be late. You can check in no matter how late you arrive. Bar closes at 11pm but the night porter can still sell you bottles of beer. Unlike us, do remember to close the window at night or you will be bitten by mosquitos!

Cozy environment. Showering is a disaster since the shower curtain is too short and there’s nothing to shovel up the water with, so the floor gets all flooded over… The food: good, but… I really do not understand why they don’t salt the food at all in France and Belgium. It’s such a shame.

Veel te zachte matras. Amper hoofdkussen. En wat is de bedoeling van een raam tussen badkamer-slaapkamer. Ik gebruik het toilet liever zonder publiek. Een Vlaamse TV-zender zou leuk geweest zijn. I booked this place because from the photos it looked like a relaxing oasis, however upon arriving you could tell how poorly maintained it is. My hotel room had the most nastiest shower with tons of mold. The walls itself were very dirty and had paint that was chipping. My friend’s room had dirty pillowcases and the floors look like they hadn’t been vacuumed in quite a while. This hotel would be very desirable if they could just clean it and maintain it properly. My friend and I were both so grossed out that we decided to do a 6 hour drive to get to our next destination. We got there at 0300 because that’s how bad we didn’t wanna stay in this hotel. Not to mention I had zero cell phone service here and the Wi-Fi did not reach my room.
