Gedateerd hotel, niet wat we gewend zijn van van de valk. Veel achterstallig onderhoud. Vriendelijk personeel, prima ontbijt. Parkeren is “bijzonder”. Via de snelweg voldoende ruimte, binnendoor wordt het een uitdaging.

Wir waren auf der Hunde Coiffeur Team Weltmeisterschaft und sind mit Hunden gereist. Das Hotel war für unsere Bedürfnisse perfekt. Gute Parkmöglichkeiten, Kurzer unkomplizierter Weg vom Auto zum Zimmer, schöner Umschwung um mit den Hunden spazieren zu gehen. Obwohl das Hotel auf einer Autobahnraststätte ist, hörten wir praktisch keinen Lärm von der Autobahn. Sehr gerne immer wieder…

Der Service im Restaurant und an der Rezeption waren sehr nett. Das Zimmer in dem ich war sollte jedoch renoviert werden. Das Bett ist durchgelegen. Duschtürknopf von innen abgebrochen und fehlt, vereinzelt Haare am Boden von vorherigen Gästen. Flecken in der Dusche etc. Ansonsten strategisch gut gelegen für meinen Zweck. Für eine Nacht ok.

Nice receptionists. The housekeeping collects all dirty dishes and glasses from the customers on a table in the corner near the elevator and they leave it there for days... we have never seen that especially not in (normally very clean) Van der Valk hotels...

Overall, the hotel is old and in desperate need of refurbishment. No ventilation in the room of any kind and no ability to open a window (we were on the ground floor and the only opening window was the patio door, which obviously had to be locked shut at night for security reasons) - it was like sleeping in sealed box, probably breaking health and safety regulations. The supplied fan was falling apart and very noisy. The corridor to the room smelled dirty, damp and unhygienic. Most staff were nice but one woman in the restaurant was agressive, barging guests out of her way to get to the food counters at breakfast. Limited vegetarian options on the restaurant menu. No non-dairy milk supplied at breakfast - I had to ask for it.

Het is allemaal verouderd, je zakt helemaal weg in het matras, er is geen koelkast beschikbaar, slang van de douche was afgetaped (waarschijnlijk om lekkage op te lossen). Het was voldoende voor het doel, maar het mag wel een tandje hoger…dit ben ik niet gewend bij van der Valk! Het restaurant daarentegen was helemaal top, wel duur maar dat vind ik minder erg wanneer voor de rest alles in orde is. Ook de medewerkers waren super vriendelijk! Samengevat: accomodatie is heel erg aan vernieuwing toe, medewerkers top!

Uitstekend hotel voor zakelijke overnachting. Badkamer is in recente jaren mooi gerenoveerd, matras zakte bij mijn kamer beetje door. Geen geluidsoverlast van snelweg, ook niet met kamer aan die kant. Wel wat gehorigheid vanaf de gang. Ontbijt prima, wel erg aan de prijs. Daarvoor zou er wel een verse sinaasappelsap machine geplaatst mogen worden. Personeel vriendelijk, maar algehele staat van het hotel voelt wat gedateerd aan in vergelijking met andere Van der Valk hotels.

Situer sur l air d autoroute mais tout de même en retrait de celle ci, ça reste un lieu calme on entend légèrement la circulation. Accueil parfait nous somme arrivé a 21h comme prévu sur le check in compléter via le mail de l hôtel.

Wij moesten naar een beurs in Kortrijk en dan ligt dit hotel gewoon heel centraal. Je rijd het gemakkelijk aan. Het restaurant vonden wij persoonlijk geen succes. Vooraf een broodje met boter maar daar was geen mes bij. Vervolgens de borden op tafel gekregen die voor iemand anders bedoeld waren. De borden werden zo weer naar de andere tafel gebracht. Toen kwam het eten wat voor ons bedoeld was. Mijn vlees zat vol met spier en vet, was niet te snijden en kreeg het niet weg. Vervolgens wel een ander menu gekregen. Maar was toch echt wel jammer. Verder zijn de kamers haast niet koel te krijgen. Ben dan ook benieuwd hoe warm het er in de zomer is. Ook de lucht die in de hal hangt moet vast een fijne ervaring zijn maar wij vonden het gewoon echt stinken. De lucht overheerst zo erg dat het op je longen slaat. Het ontbijt was wel echt super uitgebreid en verder was het een goed verblijf.

Da vi ankom sent torsdag aften fik vi anvist et værelse der allerde var optaget, vi fik dog ret hurtigt et nyt og så skulle man tro at alt var godt. Men da vi ville ind på vores værelse igen sent fredag aften efter en lang arbejdsdag, virkede vores nøgle kort ikke. Det viste sig så at vores værelse nu var udlejet til nogle andre og vores kufferter mm. var blevet samlet sammen i en bunke og nu stod i receptionen. Det lykkedes igen at få et nyt værelse, men det er på ingen måde tilfredsstillende og særdeles uprofessionelt at skulle så meget igennem for 2 overnatninger.

As usual the room was great, check in was disappointing. It was suggested that the payment was not settled, where I had already paid Hotels.com. Not sure who was to blame for that, van der Valk or Hotels.com

Fine for an overnight stay next to the highway, but disappointing for a Van der Valk hotel. Some good points: easy location, ample free parking, and large rooms with balconies. However this hotel clearly isn’t run to the same high standards as others in the chain. The decor has bumps, scrapes and marks everywhere, and it’s not acceptable to let black mould grow in the shower.

Wij moesten naar een beurs in Kortrijk en dan ligt dit hotel gewoon heel centraal. Je rijd het gemakkelijk aan. Het restaurant vonden wij persoonlijk geen succes. Vooraf een broodje met boter maar daar was geen mes bij. Vervolgens de borden op tafel gekregen die voor iemand anders bedoeld waren. De borden werden zo weer naar de andere tafel gebracht. Toen kwam het eten wat voor ons bedoeld was. Mijn vlees zat vol met spier en vet, was niet te snijden en kreeg het niet weg. Vervolgens wel een ander menu gekregen. Maar was toch echt wel jammer. Verder zijn de kamers haast niet koel te krijgen. Ben dan ook benieuwd hoe warm het er in de zomer is. Ook de lucht die in de hal hangt moet vast een fijne ervaring zijn maar wij vonden het gewoon echt stinken. De lucht overheerst zo erg dat het op je longen slaat. Het ontbijt was wel echt super uitgebreid en verder was het een goed verblijf.

Uitstekend hotel voor zakelijke overnachting. Badkamer is in recente jaren mooi gerenoveerd, matras zakte bij mijn kamer beetje door. Geen geluidsoverlast van snelweg, ook niet met kamer aan die kant. Wel wat gehorigheid vanaf de gang. Ontbijt prima, wel erg aan de prijs. Daarvoor zou er wel een verse sinaasappelsap machine geplaatst mogen worden. Personeel vriendelijk, maar algehele staat van het hotel voelt wat gedateerd aan in vergelijking met andere Van der Valk hotels.

Heel fijn verblijf voor een doortocht. Alles zeer netjes en in orde, het plafond van de badkamer kan een likje verf gebruiken. Super aanbod van ontbijt ook!

Overall, the hotel is old and in desperate need of refurbishment. No ventilation in the room of any kind and no ability to open a window (we were on the ground floor and the only opening window was the patio door, which obviously had to be locked shut at night for security reasons) - it was like sleeping in sealed box, probably breaking health and safety regulations. The supplied fan was falling apart and very noisy. The corridor to the room smelled dirty, damp and unhygienic. Most staff were nice but one woman in the restaurant was agressive, barging guests out of her way to get to the food counters at breakfast. Limited vegetarian options on the restaurant menu. No non-dairy milk supplied at breakfast - I had to ask for it.

I stayed 3 nights in the hotel, I am 190 cm, I ordered a king size bed (in order to have a big bed), they gave me 2 small separate bed, I discussed the first nigh with the receptionist and he told me tomorrow we will see in order to change your room. Next day the receptionist told me that only suits has a king size bed, i would not cancell my reservation and i had to sleep in a small bed for 3 night (will never go back again)
