Clean and pleasant smell when i entered the room 👍 Extra wide car park spots 👍 Spacious room with aircon 👍 Full foxtel(all channels) on the TV & wifi 👍 Modern new bathroom with good shower head 👍 Food and drink directly across the road 👍 No traffic noise and close to the highway, for quick and easy 👍 Overall, I only spent one night but very happy with my short stay. If im ever back in the area, I'll definitely stay again. 🙂

We stayed here with our puppy and found it to be an excellent choice. Directly opposite a hotel which has outdoor dining too, meant we didn’t have to go far for dinner and our puppy was welcome too. Electric car recharge stations, clean, spacious rooms, very comfy bed and an outdoor green area to excercise pup.

Very cold night but could not get complex (!) electric blanket to work. Two of the spare blankets not clean. Some mould in shower. Otherwise reasonably well presented and equipped. Very convenient to good pub/restaurant opposite. Staff member was friendly. Helped set slow aircon.

The staff were friendly. Check in was straight forward. I had my grand pup with me so we had a pet friendly room which was basic but clean. There was no milk in the fridge which was disappointing. The pup could obviously smell previous dogs so was unsettled but the grassed area outside the room was handy.

This motel is always a perfect stop over on the way from Newcastle to Melbourne. In good location, close to the Hume hwy. it also has a good pub and bottle shop opposite and a great coffee shop nearby. The staff is super friendly and helpful and it is always pristinely clean.

We booked the renovated king bed room and were travelling with a medium sized dog. The room was excellent- large, modern,clean and comfortable, with plenty of space for a dog bed. Bathroom was also modern and spacious. Close to the room there’s a large grass area which was perfect. Highly recommended Down the road there’s a petrol station cafe with decent breakfast items if you’re in a hurry .

Very happy with our stay at Econo Lodge. Room was spacious, clean, well appointed and well thought out. Nice neat grounds, quiet and felt safe. Tick, tick, tick. Has been nicely upgraded given the basic structures traditional motels have had to work with. We always enjoy a traditional motel stay on a road trip between Sydney and Melbourne and this stay ticked all the boxes of a good stay. Easy access on off Hume hwy.

Very clean, quiet and as a single female I appreciated the added security latch on the door. The Edwards Tavern is directly across the road and was very convenient for a meal, and the Golf course is only a few minutes drive. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend.

This was our first accomodation on a 4 day car trip with 3 adults and a dog. We were really pleased with the friendliness of staff, quality of unit, cleanliness, parking, pet friendly and amazing Bistro restaurant across the road (excellent selection, price and generous serving sizes). A clean calm and tranquil stop off the highway and very welcoming to both the two and four legged members of your family. A very welcome break from the road trip. NB no real hotel dining/meal service - but so many good local options including the pub across the way. Personally I’d take the clean and good quality rooms the Lodge has over any meal options!
