We found the food not very good. The staff not friendly and the pool was cloudy. We had a room on the lagoon pool and the water level was so low the skimmer boxes were dry.😳

We (a family of 8) had a really lovely stay at TAG Resort. Although it's not in town, it was still only a 10min tricycle ride away and was nice to come back to a quieter resort to relax. Having multiple dining options on site was great and convenient, especially when travelling with kids. There were many options available at the breakfast buffet and we enjoyed sitting by the pool in the evening for a drink and treat/shake for the kids. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom spacious. The staff were very approachable and friendly and whenever we asked for room supplies, they would respond immediately. We all felt very safe, welcome and relaxed here at the resort and would love to stay again!

Well. Lets start out by saying pools are pretty dirty. Looks like they skim the top but not vacvumm bottom. Resort i stayed before i changed to tag the wait staff we're outstanding. TAG waitstaff didnt refill my drinks or get coffee. Then there was the key to the room which only worked like 1 x a day. Got locked out numerous times

This is a beautifully designed resort. We stayed in the most expensive suites and were impressed with the serene setting, where we could just slip into the secluded pool right off of our porch. The resort is beautifully planted giving a very tropical feel. The pool was cleaned everyday which was good to see. We were not so impressed with the food and after the first meal decided to eat elsewhere. We did have the complimentary breakfast, which was just okay. I suggest the hotel looks at improving the overall quality of food served, as it lets the hotel down. We had previously stayed at the funny lion, which had far superior food and TAG management would be wise to explore what that hotel is doing food wise, as an example of what a higher quality hotel should be offering. Staff were very friendly throughout our stay, although the first impression on check in left me feeling like we were not that important to them, as we sat waiting to be served for a while. As someone who had booked their best room, that didn’t feel right. Aside from these remarks we enjoyed our stay and overall we had a very positive stay in Coron.

Helt okej hotell. Frukosten var god. Poolen kändes smutsig, inte av löven som blåser ner men grumlig. De sa dock att de kemar den var dag men saknas cirkulation under dagen som tar bort solkrämer mm. Mycket trevlig personal. Fina rum och skön säng. Super bra tryck i duschen. Kunde haft 2 stolar på balkongen, men det var ändå för varmt att sitta där så nu gjorde det inte så mycket. Tar 10-15 minuter med tricycle ner till staden. Kostar 40 pesos/ person.

Als wir aber eines Morgens einen Ausflug zu einer Wassertour buchten und uns welche dafür an der Rezeption holen wollten, hieß es für die Touren müssten wir sie gegen bezahlung leihen. Sorry aber das ist auch wenn es wenig Geld war einfach frech da geht’s ums Prinzip. Hätte ich es nicht ehrlich gesagt und gesagt für Pool wären sie gratis. Zimmer hat modrig gerochen. Und ein Problem außerhalb der Norm kann wohl überhaupt nicht gemanagt werden. Frühstück übel Laut und eher einfallslos.Auf dem ersten Blick toll und schönes Resort aber für mich gehört da mehr dazu zu gutem Service

Lovely pool area and grounds in general. On site restaurant is just ok, I’d recommend just heading into Coron for dinner. Easy transport into town, concierge gets tuk tuks there quickly

Comfortable and clean room. Beautiful resort especially at night with their lights. Staff was aways very kind and helpful. There's a family of 4 stray cats that love on the property that I fell in love with. Included breakfast buffet was very tasty

Really nice rooms. The villas are actually smaller than the normal rooms. Very clean rooms. The staff is the bonus here. They take care of you very well and will.do everything for you to have a nice stay. The food is average. It was quite cheap food and was always the same every day.

Beautiful property. The staff is very nice and attentive to our niece. Beautiful swim out room with a secret door from the bathroom to go to the swimming area. Very clean great AC over all the staff are very nice. The food is excellent. I will definitely stay here again.

Staff amazing - polite and helpful. Organising Tuk Tuks and day trips and responding to queries rapidly. Ant infestation in bathroom came back regularly to find dozens crawling on toothbrushes and cosmetics when we complained staff rapidly came and removed them however they returned hours later and no offer of changing room was made. Pool closed for 2 of 3 days there for cleaning .

Es una vergüenza, súper sucio y lleno de cucarachas. No nos dieron solución, las habitaciones, el recinto… super insalubre todo. No sé cómo pueden tener tan buena nota y estrellas porque es el peor hotel de mi vida. Y lo peor que Hotels.com ni siquiera dio una solución, así que tuvimos que pagar doble y coger otro sitio para dormir con otra empresa en paralelo.

O Hotel, encontra se em bom estado. O staff, muito agradável e simpático. O quarto razoável, a cama confortável, mas a limpeza fraca. Um ponto bastante negativo, o pequeno almoço, fraco e com poucas opções. Nem sumos naturais tinha. Outro ponto negativo, após a nossa chegada, fizeram nos estar a aguardar pela entrega do quarto quase 1h. Inaceitável!

Værelset var rigtig fint holdt - dog er der plads til forbedringer for rengøringen. Morgenmaden var fin og meget traditionel hotel buffe. Personalet i receptionen og rundt omkring på hotellet var super søde og hjælpsomme, hvorimod dem i baren ikke var særlig serviceminded og virkede som om de ikke havde lyst til at være der.

As someone who had booked their best room, that didn’t feel right. Aside from these remarks we enjoyed our stay and overall we had a very positive stay in Coron.
This is a beautifully designed resort. We stayed in the most expensive suites and were impressed with the serene setting, where we could just slip into the secluded pool right off of our porch. The resort is beautifully planted giving a very tropical feel. The pool was cleaned everyday which was good to see. We were not so impressed with the food and after the first meal decided to eat elsewhere. We did have the complimentary breakfast, which was just okay. I suggest the hotel looks at improving the overall quality of food served, as it lets the hotel down. We had previously stayed at the funny lion, which had far superior food and TAG management would be wise to explore what that hotel is doing food wise, as an example of what a higher quality hotel should be offering. Staff were very friendly throughout our stay, although the first impression on check in left me feeling like we were not that important to them, as we sat waiting to be served for a while. As someone who had booked their best room, that didn’t feel right. Aside from these remarks we enjoyed our stay and overall we had a very positive stay in Coron.

We had a lovely stay at TAG resort over the new year period. The pool area and bar are really nice and we enjoyed relaxing on the sunbeds. Tricycles are very cheap to get you into the centre of town which takes around 15 mins. The breakfast was really nice and the hotel room itself was very comfortable with a lovely bathroom. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Beautiful property. The staff is very nice and attentive to our niece. Beautiful swim out room with a secret door from the bathroom to go to the swimming area. Very clean great AC over all the staff are very nice. The food is excellent. I will definitely stay here again.

Experienced high level of bugs inside our villa, we got tired of calling maintenance so asked them to leave the insect spray in our room. The AC was positioned in an uncomfortable spot right over our bed and even though we put the temp to 25 and low fan it still felt uneasy. Restaurant and breakfast buffet food could improve. While the guest manager tried her best we just wouldn't come back here.

Property was great! Loved the atmosphere. Wish that there would be a place to refill water (jug near the lobby area with clean water). The other suggestion would be to have a more attentive restaurant staff. There were a couple times we’d sit and have to get someone’s attention after a period of time because nobody came to bring menu or fill up waters. We (a family of 8) had a really lovely stay at TAG Resort. Although it's not in town, it was still only a 10min tricycle ride away and was nice to come back to a quieter resort to relax. Having multiple dining options on site was great and convenient, especially when travelling with kids. There were many options available at the breakfast buffet and we enjoyed sitting by the pool in the evening for a drink and treat/shake for the kids. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom spacious. The staff were very approachable and friendly and whenever we asked for room supplies, they would respond immediately. En General bien. Lo único que no está a la altura del hotel son las personas que atienden el mostrador de los tours, transporte, masajes, etc, que es tercerizado. Me sentí durante tres días como que hablaba a una pared sonriente, a la cual había que repetirle todo 5o 6 veces . Y no era una de las chicas en particular, sino todas ellas (4), para reservar, coordinar, para pagar…. Nada fluido, fácil, amigable. Los tours son buenos así como los guías y tripulaciones que nos tocaron, en 2 tours privados. La comida en los tours buena, y el desayuno en el hotel nada destacado, pero suficiente.

Staff amazing - polite and helpful. Organising Tuk Tuks and day trips and responding to queries rapidly. Ant infestation in bathroom came back regularly to find dozens crawling on toothbrushes and cosmetics when we complained staff rapidly came and removed them however they returned hours later and no offer of changing room was made. Pool closed for 2 of 3 days there for cleaning .

Værelset var rigtig fint holdt - dog er der plads til forbedringer for rengøringen. Morgenmaden var fin og meget traditionel hotel buffe. Rooms are very lovely, well appointed and clean. Swim up isn’t private but a quieter spot away from the bar. Bar staff were very friendly and fun. Breakfast is poor- average choices, very greasy, cold. Housekeeping is very hit and miss, need more training on ensuring towels are replenished and toilet roll is topped up. Tour desk staff need some more training to understanding timings. Food in the restaurant is average, we recommend Hermanos tapas and Om Thai in Coron Town just 40 pesos per person in a trike to get there. No shuttle offered by hotel.

This property was a short drive from the airport, close to downtown and the port to hop a boat for the island excursions. Tricycles were readily available, they had services for tours and we were able to rent a scooter from the grounds. The room was very nice and the pool area was pretty. Great property!

Helt okej hotell. Frukosten var god. Poolen kändes smutsig, inte av löven som blåser ner men grumlig. De sa dock att de kemar den var dag men saknas cirkulation under dagen som tar bort solkrämer mm. Mycket trevlig personal. Fina rum och skön säng. Super bra tryck i duschen. Kunde haft 2 stolar på balkongen, men det var ändå för varmt att sitta där så nu gjorde det inte så mycket. Tar 10-15 minuter med tricycle ner till staden. Kostar 40 pesos/ person.

Stayed here for 3 nights in March 2024. The pictures you see on website and other websites are very realistic. Absolutely amazing property & love to recommend 100%. The architecture & landscaping is beautiful, food is amazing ( had breakfast & dinner here all 3 days) . Staff is very friendly from reception to room service and restaurant. They also have inhouse star bucks. The airport pick up was flawless & tourist activity packages are also very reliable and moderately affordable.

We didn’t like that there were a bunch of ants inside the room and all kinds of bugs in hallways. The breakfast choices were fair. Staffs were wonderful - always ready to help their guests for anything.

Room was clean and updated. AC worked phenomenally, the breakfast was great with fruit, egg station, pastries, juices, hot station, pancakes, and desserts. The pool was fantastic. They even had a pool side bar that was by one get one for happy hour, which we took full advantage of. You really don’t even have to leave the resort there is a restaurant , cafe and small grocery store right on the property!

The resort was a bit worn, it looked like it would have been fabulous in its day, but needs a bit of care to bring it up to scratch. Some of the staff were great, but most were a little bit rude, especially the bar staff. I did feel safe staying here however which was nice.
