Hotel is in a perfect spot for views of lake and marina but it is in real need of an upgrade. It’s tired and warrants only a 3 star rating at most. When we were there we only saw one member of staff very helpful but the bar was closed as was the restaurant other than lunch on some days Beds unbearably firm! It feels it’s living in the 1980s.

This is amazing hotel within the medieval city of Yvoire. Clean, comfy beds, beautiful room and wonderful staff. We highly recommended this hotel. However, parking is an issue. I had no idea how horrible the parking situation would be at this hotel. The parking lot was like .5km from the hotel. I had very heavy bags and could not get them to my room because of the rock walkways, hills and rain conditions. It I asked for a credit for the second night of my reservation but the hotel declined. I ended up leaving and not even staying there for one night. Bottom line is that it was a very disappointing experience!

L hotel en lui même est très bien mais ATTENTION pas d accès en voiture. Le parking de l hôtel se situe à 10mn à pied. Grosse descente pour aller et grosse montée pour repartir. Déconseillé aux personnes handicapés et qui ont du mal à marcher. Par contre aucune communication sur le site de l hotel qui envoie un mail pour nous informer sur le parune fois que la réservation a été effectué. Dommage

L'hôtel est très bien situé et la chambre donnait sur le port d'Yvoire. Le personnel est très aimable sympathique et disponible. Le petit déjeuner est très bon et très généreux, même si quelques plateaux, pour porter son petit déjeuner à table, auraient facilité l'organisation... Pour le reste, si vous aimez les animaux, les fourmis notamment, et un 4 étoiles très approximatif, sans compter de dormir dans un canapé (et pas un canapé lit...), en effet lits jumeaux prévus initialement, un lit double à l'arrivée... Avec tout ça, on pourrait recommander cet hôtel.

We booked an air conditioned room with a view of the lake. Our first room, while facing the lake, had a view of untrimmed hedges.On the second night, we were moved to a room on the second floor which did have a view, but alas, the ac didn’t work. The front desk attendant tried to fiddle with the controls, but failed to get it to work. We asked to be move to a room with a working ac. The attendant said he would call the director and come back to let us know. He never came back. The hotel is well situated in the town and the staff is friendly. But not having ac in the summer is a real problem, and they should not advertise a view for rooms that don’t have one. For the price we paid, we were disappointed and would not stay there again.

We had a wonderful experience at the hotel. The service was exceptional, and the restaurant did a fantastic job tailoring our vegetarian needs. The cups used were so pretty; we were hoping to buy a set for ourselves but were pleasantly surprised to receive two as souvenirs. Such a warm and thoughtful gesture! We will definitely be coming back again and highly recommend this place. The view of the pier was also breathtaking! Thank you for a memorable stay!
