Nice, safe location. Friendly, helpful staff. Very clean with a nice view of the river and across from a mall. Wonderful pool for children (although we don't have children), however too cold to swim. The pool needs to stay a little warmer to be able to use.

We booked this vacation 2.5 weeks before arriving. We selected this specific hotel in this area due to the pool that has a small area for young children to play and swim. We were meeting up with my daughter and her two small children for the weekend. We checked in and headed to our rooms as the kids were excited to go to the indoor pool. We went to the pool and couldn't get through the door. I went to the front desk and asked how we access the pool. I was told the pool is closed for the weekend for repairs. First, why would you close your pool over a weekend for repairs on your busiest pool days??? I explained why we chose this hotel in this area. He said there is nothing I can do about it the pool is closed, sorry. I said we would like to cancel our reservation, and he told me it was too late no cancellation is allowed. I asked why I wasn't notified prior to my arrival date so, I could have cancelled and booked a hotel with a working pool. He said he doesn't know. Needless to say, my family and I were so disappointed as the purpose for this hotel was for the kids to swim during the winter. Also, the way I was treated by the front desk staff they didn't care that I just spent $400 to stay there and our needs were not met. My family and friends I mentioned this to will never book at this hotel again because of the way we were poorly treated.

Staff were so nice and accommodating. Would have enjoyed a hot tub (there is just an indoor pool designed for kids), and the printer wasn’t working right, but staff assisted us in getting what we needed without it. I would stay here again.

We (Family of 3 + dog) stayed one night and it was an enjoyable stay. Very clean! We loved the pool. The parking is easy and we walked over to the mall just across the parking lot which was nice. Conveniently located near the university. Aldina (front-desk) and Heather (server) were very kind to us during our stay! The included breakfast was a nice touch! We will be back again.

The hotel is very nice. It was quieter than I expected being close to the highway. Staff is friendly and efficient. The only issue is the water pressure is a bit low, and the shower floor is very slippery. I would definitely stay again.

This hotel was very clean. The front desk staff at check-in and check-out were very friendly. We checked in pretty late, but the staff person at the front desk was still smiling, very welcoming, and offered us additional bottles of water for our room. I also love that it is a pet-friendly hotel (even though we didn't have our 4-legged family with us). Will definitely stay here again.

Stayed for one night during the Art Fair and a sports camp at UM. Very easy check-in and extremely quiet room. Everything was clean and very comfortable. Great to have 2 Queen beds instead of 2 Full size.

It is a great hotel but our room, Room 225, overlooked the roof so the HVAC was quite loud. I guess that is why they put a white noise machine in the room, which helped, but make sure to specify a room that is quieter for a better experience. We booked for 5 nights but left a night earlier and still had to pay for it because of the rules of our reservation but if we stay again, will ask for a room that is far from the roof.

Old in need of an update. Horrible lumpy bed. My husband and I both woke up with back aches. We miss bedside amenities, such as lists of nearby restaurants, channel guides, TV manual. It listed several channels, but only a few were available. Certainly not what I remember a Hilton hotel being.

The AGM that worked on Wednesday 2/21 in the afternoon was amazing. Heather at the bar was also great. The hotel was absolutely lovely. Better than expected, and I’ve stayed at a lot of Hilton branded hotels. This one definitely exceeded expectations. It is in a great location as well. The bar cocktails are absolutely wonderful if you want to sit and relax before heading back to your room. The woman at the front desk in the morning (Rhea) was also super friendly, and had the coolest earrings. Highly recommend this hotel if you are in the area.

Property was excellent and the reservation staff were excellent. The bartender lady was a bit rude I felt. I asked her for a plastic utensils. She did give it to me but made me feel very small. I wasn’t sure it was because the color of my light brown skin but I will give her the benefit of doubt and assume she was just having a bad day. Overall if you ignore the bartender lady the experience will be wonderful.

Always enjoy staying at this Hilton Garden inn. The reception staff, especially the day shift and night shift gentleman, the breakfast restaurent ladies were very welcoming and made the breakfast experience good. Look forward to the next stay. The Mexican restaurant near the hotel was also very good.

I went to check-in, their system was down, and instead of an apology or explanation, I got yelled at by the front desk for asking "are you ready for me?" when I approached the desk. The WORST part (because things happen) was when I called the manager on Monday, there was defensive reaction, no apology and no "what can we do to make this right". I had to book & stay at another hotel where I was treated wonderfully! This is not my first negative run-in with a Hilton. What has happened to this hotel? Never again!!

Showed up at 11:30 at night, the desk person asked me to sit in the waiting area. After 15 minutes she scolded me when I tried to go back to front desk. After 30 minutes she told me there was a mistake and no rooms were available. She offered no help in finding alternative hotels. I had booked this hotel 3 months in advance for a three day stay.

Isaiah at the Front Desk was amazing and very kind. I missed my turn-off from the freeway and became utterly LOST. I called the hotel and Isaiah answered (poor soul); I told him I was on the corner of Maple Rd & Newport Rd and he took the time to find my whereabouts on a map and told me exactly how to get back to where I should be to reach the hotel. THANK YOU ISAIAH! GOD BLESS YOU!

Outstanding hotel. Modern. Aesthetic. Comfortable. Light. Friendly, helpful staff, great breakfast restaurant (though man y items come with a cost). I have two comments for consideration. First, there is are no recycling bins. Second, the difference between the complimentary breakfast offering and the paid breakfast offerings is not clear.

Very attractive, generally comfortable hotel. We had an "accessible" room that was huge. Bathroom was large and would easily accommodate a wheelchair even in the shower. The negatives (for us) were that we found both beds to be too soft. Also, although the restaurant was attractive and the server was great, there were no vegan options for breakfast except for the buffet but that cost $24. We just don't eat that much for breakfast. (I had a nice yogurt and fruit bowl for $10 but yogurt isn't vegan so my companion made due with coffee). So, very nice hotel but not ideal for us.

Very good stay, and excellent location for what we were needing. Close to shopping, dining etc. options. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downside was their continental breakfast was not free and not included in our stay which I thought was odd. It was displayed on a whiteboard nearby but wasn't noticed or made aware of until the end of the meal.
