Convenient, and plenty of safe area in the car park. Clean but very old. Good value for money. Would stay there again.

Nice rooms and staff dogs allowed also

Pleasant overnight stay ,good size room ,had microwave and toaster ,shower adjustment was a bit tempermental ,air con a bit old and noisy ,reception were friendly & helpful ,good value motel for the price i would recommend & stay again

We love the fact it is pet friendly, they are so much a part of our lives and leaving them behind with the extreme weather was not an option. The staff are very helpful and friendly we have stayed before and probably will again

Old and run down. Curtains didnt work, smoke alarm hanging off the ceiling, bbq was a mess. Look for something better.

the Hotel is up on a hill off the highway so didn't hear any highway noise at all, which was a bonus. parking is good compared other Hotels, not all crammed in. the only gripe was there was no bathmat I had to use a towel. the corner of the rug needs some attention it's all twisted & I nearly tripped over it a few times.

Grass not mown, broken pallets, bbq area filthy with rotting food on bbq plate still, bins full around it with nobody having used it for a couple of days, cigarette buts on ground everywhere. The room smelt like stale smoke, wet carpet in sections, tea towel folded up in cupboard wet, bottom of fridge inside was dirty, dishes were dirty, animal hair on chairs, human hair on “clean “ towels.

Dirty floor and surfaces, plaster peeling off walls, broken light switches, tv with no channels, average customer service. Only positive was large parking spaces making it convenient for 4WD/SUV parking.

Very outdated room, not clean and smells

We stayed four nights from 12 April 2023 in Room 1, a family room suite. Not once were the rooms vacuumed or dusted. The tiles on the bathroom floor were covered with a sticky substance when we first arrived. The said bathroom was never cleaned nor the floor ever moped. Further, there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Most of the ceilings had visible mould growth that had been inadequately cleaned. The hot water service was antiquated, I’m guessing, it was a gravity fed roof tank given you need to turn the hot water tap up full boar, then ever so gently feather the cold water on. When you rotate the cold water tap one millimetre too much, the mains pressure of the cold water stops the hot water from passing through and it goes very quickly cold. Electrical power points were old, with at least one in the bedroom with dangerously exposed wiring and not fixed to the wall. It would not pass an electrical inspection. Appliances, like the toaster, were well past safety inspection dates by about four years. The tap in the kitchenette constantly leaked leaving a puddle of water in the cupboard below and wet patch on the adjacent carpet, making it smell of damp mould. The air conditioner was noisy and only heated one room in the “Family suite”. I know what you are asking, why didn’t you ask for a better room? We did. This was the better room. Not enough space here to tell fellow travellers about the other family room suite, room 5, that was even worse.

The room was outdated (even the bar fridge was at least 30 years old), dirty (e.g. clearly visible stains on pull down blinds), and minimal water pressure in the shower. Disappointing experience.

Couldnt close windows

It was good value for money and had comfortable mattresses. The noise from the trucks is quite loud at night at times.

Reasonable for cost, old heater/cooler and didn’t warm up the room. Room clean and bed comfortable. Could be a bit better presented but fit for purpose.

Ok for a few nights stay. Shower pressure was horrible.

I’d give the property a lower score but lady was amazing on arrival looked nothing like the photos she helped change booking from 2 nights to 1 Then took me an my kids to a room witch had a tv that didn’t work or no wifi so she swapped rooms and made sure we got 1 Chanel on tv and wifi Then as it got later we put heater on 30 all night the room was so cold my kids wouldn’t stop complaining we went to have a shower the water dribbled out and took so long to go hot I had a cold shower there was electric blankets on the beds so I put them on one of the cords was broken so kids bunked in with me it was honestly worst and coldest stay anywhere but the lovely lady tried everything to keep us happy If you after a room that feels like sleeping out side go for it

Huge window with a broken blind. Shower had only a trickle of hot water. Dissapointing!

We’d stay again at Motel Traralgon. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, the twin bedroom unit was perfect for 3 women travelling together and everything was very clean. It’s an older motel but the price was significantly lower than others that would offer us 3 separate beds. And the aircon was lovely as we truck a headway on our visit.

Room wasn’t ready when we booked in, so had an upgrade which was better than our original room

Stay was ok. Tap fixture in handbasin needed repair. No great dramas. I changed booking on arrival due to other business comitments and they were obliging.

Room was large,clean . Had everything we needed. Needed a late check in and staff were very polite,friendly and helpful. Property outside room is dated and could be refreshed but overall very happy with our stay

Didnt get to stay at Motel Traralgon. They rang to say they had plumbing problem in our booked family room. We were being shifted to their other motel in Morwell, The Parkside motel. Problem would not be fixed before next night either. We were told by locals that there was a big tennis tornament on in Traralgon that same weekend. We had to travel back from Morwell to our wedding in Traralgon. However, the management and room were both good and clean and tidy in Morwell. We were not offered a discount for taking the smaller room out of town.

We were not happy with the room as it was not as advertised and in poor condition. We did not want to stay in the room and went to another motel. The staff provided a refund immediately when asked so it gets points for that aspect of customer service.

Easy to find. Set up in side st just off highway, no road noise. Electric blankets! Older style but ideal for a quick overnight stay

Friendly staff and clean enough but very old and in need of repair. Location is not good - a fairly long walk along a dual carriageway to get anywhere so it’s best to drive
