Stayed for a weekend to attend American Players Theater which is 17 minutes away. Exceeded expectations for a roadside motel. Helpful & friendly front desk, comfortable bed, good shower, very clean. Appreciated larger than normal refrigerator with separate freezer. Quiet setting with nice views out windows. Highly recommended.

The room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, the desk clerk was nice. The smoking station was right outside my window - that was really unpleasant. There was no hot water in the sink. The shower stall was crazy slippery, the little shelves did not make good handles. I think the slipperiness was due in part to the very soft water and the lack of tooth on the floor of the shower. All that said, the room was very clean and comfortable.

Very old but well kept. Everything was adequate and the bed was wonderful. The bed is a foam bed and very comfortable for those of us who have back trouble and are side sleepers. If I ever come back to this location I will most definitely stay at this hotel again. No pool, no ice machine, no food, just plain old style value.

Pleasantly surprised when I saw the room! Very neat and clean. Surprisingly nice bedding and mattress. The only quibble is something I actually got a kick from. The piping for the bathroom sink is backwards! Hot water is controlled by the right hand faucet! So charming I’d almost suggest you NOT correct it! Manage did a nice job of recommending a fine nearby restaurant.

this is an older motel so you are not going to get alot of space or amenities. But you will get a good value stay in a clean room that is quiet yet conveniently located on a main road into Dodgeville. New owners have done a nice job to update and still keep the side-of-the-road motel charm.

This is a great little motel. Very charming atmosphere for those of us who appreciate the good old days! Owner was not there the evening of my stay but there was another gentleman covering who was very kind. I wasn’t looking for fancy, just a nice clean bed and shower facilities. This worked out perfectly. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Honestly, we have stayed here twice. This is a well maintained and nicely kept motel. For the price, it's great for an overnight stay. The decor is nostalgic and has been tastefully upgraded in the bathrooms. It's close to a great liquor store, gas stations and plenty of great places to eat! We will be back :) We miss the kitty...
