Beautiful ocean view. No breakfast provided. No daily maid service. Elevator out of order. Parking and access to room confusing. Front desk just pointed. We both have canes: walk us where we need to go Staff very friendly. Very dog friendly.

I can’t say enough good things about this property. The room was fantastic with a view of Haystack rock. I almost did not want to leave the room. Loved the fireplace at night. Comfortable beds and very clean. The workout area and pool area were fantastic. Loved the sauna too. Town was within walking distance! Plenty of food and shopping!! The Chocolate cafe has the best chocolate as well. A must go too! I’ve stayed in several resorts but this was the BEST so far. Definitely will be back!

This was the cutest place. They had a lot of neat complimentary things like beach chairs, beach fire kits, hot drinks, chocolate chip cookies. Rooms were very clean and everyone was very friendly. Heated pool and hot tubs. Beach access right out the door. Would definitely recommend!

Newer property rooms were gorgeous, we had a few snafus but the staff came through quickly remedying all of it, both indoor pools were clean, airy and fantastic, loved having the beach at our finger tips.

Beach front property with amazing views. Well equipped, comfortable room. Helpful, kind staff. Beach chairs available, firewood for purchase, drinks available. Everything made easy. Very nice pool area as well. Pricy but worthwhile. Lots of stairs but this makes for good views. 20 minute walk to main downtown area but a few restaurants nearby that are walkable quickly. Recommended.

Nice pool and Hot tubs , Great beach

This was our first time visiting Cannon Beach and this hotel was the perfect place to stay. We had a balcony view of the ocean, a hot tub, and a comfortable bed. Hotel staff called the day before check in and asked if we were celebrating anything. We were celebrating our 25th anniversary. The left is a little snack basket on the counter and a bottle of champagne in the fridge. Hotel had beach access and is a close walk to haystack rock. They also had a nice pool area, sauna, and a little gym. There are also several restaurants and shops within walking distance.

Great location. Didn’t have elevators which wasn’t fun with our luggage.

Can’t beat the view or proximity to Haystack rock. The pool was fun and open to 10 so the teenagers had a good time. The murphy bed in the living room was comfortable! The resort had everything needed to make camp fires on the beach, had beach chairs and blankets available for guests, and the dogs were pampered as well. We can’t wait to return!

Spectacular location. Room very nice and clean. Parking can be a bit challenging at times. No restaurant on site even for breakfast and no bar. But I would highly recommend hotel just for location - sunsets from balcony. Oceanfront room a must.

The hotel's location is terrific. The room had a very unpleasant sewage aroma that lingered throughout the visit. We were located next to the main walkway leading down to the beach and could hear people walking by the two windows at all hours of the day and night.

We stayed in the old building ,therefore it has an old mildew smell ,other than that, the rest is fine

Had a great time! Super dog friendly, too! Hotel room and grounds were extremely clean! Will come back soon!

We stayed 2 nights but for some reason they never clean the room or bring fresh towels we had to goo to front desk and ask for them Definitely they need to work on the staff

Staff was friendly. Room small, and smelled of cigarette smell. Refrigerator wasn’t plugged in. Non-view room (no balcony) still had a little view of ocean from bay window. Pool, sauna, and jacuzzi were in a separate building. Have to walk outside from room to get to area.

What an amazingly friendly and professional staff. Rooms were so clean and well appointed. Steps to the beach and restaurants in the areas. Next visit to Cannon, we’ll definitely stay here.

Hallmark staff provided excellent customer service: positive, accurate, helpful. They contributed to the overall positive experience of our stay. Further, the bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was stocked with the essentials, clean, and in solid shape.

Purchased a non pet friendly room. Upon check in was presented two non pet friendly options. Picked the first floor. When we entered the room, there was a strong pet urine odor present. Called the front desk to let the know and we were comped a candle and matches. This did not mask the odor, so we purchased an air freshener which helped a bit more then the comped candle.

What a beautiful room, comfy king bed, two person jetted tub, huge walk in shower, fireplace and a beautiful view of the ocean! I could stay here forever!! The best part is it’s very affordable! ❤️

Beautiful location! I am a landscape photographer and the view from our balcony was the best location I found.

We didnt know, and didn't like, the very narrow window view of the ocean. Most rooms have an expansive view with a balcony. We'll call the lodging directly next time instead of going through Expedia to assure we get what we thought we had reserved.

Location was great! Beach access right there and all the amenities to enjoy it. We had issues with low tire pressure and the maintenance team came to rescue, since Cannon Beach doesn’t have tire shop or gas station. Given the hotel is a bit old, you can hear people walking on upper floors.

We only stayed overnight, so didn't check out most of the amenities. Room was nice(kinda dated), but quiet. Only complaint would be that we couldn't get the AC to work. Was fine because we left the slider open and fell asleep to the sound of the ocean!

Room was terrific, people very friendly and accommodating the only problem was the internet which was slow loading on my iPhone and nonexistent on my iPad. The hotel tried to reset modem to no avail.

What a beautiful resort! It was our first time in Cannon Beach and first time staying at the Hallmark Resort - Pacific Suites. We will definitely be back! Everything was perfect, except for a little spotty Wi-Fi now and then. But we weren't in our room too much so the Wi-Fi didn't bother us too much. All in all, it is a wonderful place to stay!!!

We arrived to the smell of fresh-baked cookies, and smiling and helpful staff. Ella graciously fulfilled our request for an upgrade, which ended up being at their sister property, Pacific Suites. We can’t say enough good things about our suite, 207, which was newly renovated, with modern touches including an in-suite kitchen, fireplace, heated bathroom tile floors, digitally-controlled shower water temperature, heated towel rack, two king beds with a copious supply of amazing pillows, three televisions, a private balcony with an ocean view and complementary snacks!

Beautiful property, right in front of Haystack! Nice updated room. Super quiet at night. Easy walk to downtown CB, or down the steps to the beautiful beach. We had booked a partial view room, but they upgraded us for free to a full view room. Thank you Hallmark. The best part was the amazingly friendly front desk staff that made us feel at home. We will be back!

My husband and I were driving to WA state after visiting my in laws in CA. We ended up spending our anniversary day with them so I was a little bummed since it was our 5 year anniversary. I met my husband in a video game (Final Fantasy 14) and we have been on an irl adventure ever since, traveling as much as possible. Knowing that it’s something we always do, and yet didn’t plan for our anniversary, made us both feel pretty bad. Last minute, we decided to stop by Cannon Beach. We chose the Hallmark Resort for the ocean views from the suite. They’re magical and gorgeous! When we got to the resort, (we had stopped at Tillamook) it was nearly 7pm. We were trying to rush and make it to check in and a quick dinner before everything closed. The staff had fresh made cookies waiting and greeted us, giving us a lot of great suggestions. I think what was most memorable and unforgettable was that when we entered our suite, there was a souvenir wine bottle with sand and shells in it and a happy anniversary card. The card stated they had an amenity for us in the fridge, which was champagne. We were so pleasantly surprised. I took so many photos and it really lifted our spirits. We were a day late to celebrate, but the staff and their thoughtful gift saved the day and gave us a memorable and unforgettable stay. I had briefly mentioned it was a last minute stay for us over the phone and didn’t really think too much of it. The fact that staff remembered and made this gesture was amazing.

Staff were friendly and offered great recommendations for local sights and restaurants. View of Haystack was excellent.

Great place to stay!! Location couldnt have been better. Can not stress enough how great the staff was. Super friendly all around. From check in, to getting the cookies (4-6pm) to getting coffee in the morning, to check out...all interactions were amazing

Amazing views and great service. The front desk was very helpful. They lent us binoculars to views the birds on haystack rock and we we're able to get a smores kit to make smores on the beach while watching the sunset. I highly recommend to anyone.

We traveled here with my daughter/husband & 2 mo old granddaughter. We requested rooms close & they said they would try. They got us right across the hall on our own hallway- just perfect. Made our stay memorable. Thank you…

We stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely loved it! We are very light sleepers and noted this in our reservation. We were placed on a top floor in the corner and never heard ONE noise from surrounding rooms. We slept like babies! (The best sleep we have ever had in a hotel and we travel a lot- always in higher end hotels) The location is phenomenal- we had ocean views right from our room: the sound and smell of the ocean being right there was incredible. Our room was recently renovated with a small fridge and microwave. The property had coffee and cider etc at all times in the lobby- fresh cookies at certain times daily. I have already recommened this property to friends and family and would not even consider staying elsewhere for our next trip to this area. The area felt very safe to walk at night. The ONLY thing I can say negative (which has nothing to do with this hotel) is that the local dining options were very "American." VERY salty, fatty, huge portioned, unhealthy options. Not one restauraunt had posted nutritional information, and we found it hard to find food that we enjoyed. Dont get me wrong the food we ate was delicious, but we prefer to eat healthy so we dont feel like crap after a meal. I would rate Hallmart more than 10/10 if i could.

Very nice and welcoming staff and we got 2 free gifts. Loved that! They really stand out in the warm and welcoming category! Location is excellent for proximity to Haystack Rock. No on site dining, but there is a good brewery/restaurant across the street. If we are ever in the area again, we will stay here.

The view is wonderful. It is a great beach and the Hallmark fits in very well. Beach chairs available were a plus as were cookies in the afternoon. We were disappointed that there were few eating options within easy walking distance. The one nice and close was so crowded we settled for one that was more of a whiskey cafe (which was very nice bur a limited menu).

We had a partial view queen. All these rooms are pet friendly and I was worried about allergies (because I didn’t have a pet) but I could not tell that a pet had ever been in the room. The bed was comfortable and the room has a microwave and the best part - a fireplace. View was nice (would prob pay for oceanfront next time). With the partial queen view you are in a building behind the main building. We had our patio door open at night and the waves crashing was great to fall asleep to. It’s very quiet though with the door closed other than hearing the person above us walking around. Parking was just behind the building. They had fresh baked cookies every evening. There is a little shop to buy snacks and some microwaveable food as well as a free hot beverage station. There were chairs, blankets and firewood for the beach. The little town has so many restaurants and shops within walking distance. Pelican Brewing is really close to the resort and had the best calamari. There are a lot of stairs both to resort and down to the beach but that was not an issue for us. Would definitely stay here again and for longer.
