We booked the confort tent. Nice tent but not very clean, cobwebs everywhere and very dusty. The shared facilities are nearly but would be nice having a water tap available on site. There is nowhere to hang wet towels after a shower a small mirror wouldn't hurt either.

We loved being right on the water with wild birds around. Beautiful, natural setting to relax in with nice walking path. Also very convenient with a grocery store right across the street.

Found large dust mites and rubbish between wall and bunk beds, that wasn’t too bad but we then found pink mould in the shower. The shower was unusable to our small children as they don’t understand not to touch certain areas. Bunk beds were also unmade, we are travelling with someone who has a disability so it was a major inconvenience to find this as it took time away from their care - for over $300 a night you would also expect beds to be made and a level of cleanliness. This just did not meet that standard.

Lovely place to stay. Such a beautiful spot right next to the river and the wildlife was amazing. Cabin was spacious, modern and the bed was very comfortable. Great location, close to shops and walking distance to the beach.

The Ocean Road Studio Cabins are literally a few meters from the big supermarket loading docks, and where the supermarket staff and truck drivers go for cigarette breaks, so it is very noisy from early morning to evening, although thankfully not through the night. If you like the sound of slamming truck doors and rising and lowering fork lifts, this is for you! The room was clean and the bed comfy, and it's close to town, but for nearly $200/night, I felt it was a let down.

Close to the local supermarket and within walking distance of the main street and SLSC beach. Our cabin was clean and contained all the basics needed for our stay. Great view of the river from our deck. A bit pricey for what it was.
