My fault for not reading fine print. Took teenage granddaughter to LSU Volleyball camp and she was looking forward to swimming but they have a policy of must be 21 in pool area. It was in extreme small print at bottom of brochure. should be large print at beginning. ordered room service at 730pm saw text after eight telling us to pick it up at restaurant. After complaining to front desk, they brought it up at 9pm without the salads.

It was an enjoyable stay overall. The on site restaurants give a solid variety of excellent food. The rooftop pool is a little smaller than I’d thought it would be but enjoyable. Not a fan of the mattress in the rooms or the lack of a mini fridge/microwave. The casino is clean and well staffed. All the staff were very courteous.

This will be about, what I did not like. To start, to check in, is hard. Cannot park in front it is dominated by entitled valet's, that want your keys because you parked in the front. I handed keys, and when I came back down, I collected them, and then took the rest of my stuff up, from the parking garage. The second floor door is busted, and this is the Casino walk level, which makes it a dangerous floor. No vent in the bathrooms. Front checkin people were friendly.

We stayed one night, while on a longer road-trip. The hotel is a little remote from anything else, but that isnt an issue because anything you might want is right there. The room was clean and comfortable, the casino has several restaurants and bars. Unlike other casinos we've visited, this one is generally non-smoking, with a couple of open-air areas for those who want to play and smoke. The pool on the 12th floor was lovely. Free parking. All on all, a very nice stay.

I loved this hotel! It was nice and quiet and the staff was very nice. I didn't get a chance to visit the casino, maybe next time. The valet parking was very convenient and easy for in and out access.

Very nice boutique casino with the amenities of a large Vegas style casino with an event center for concerts and very good dining options as well. The pool is awesome up in the 12 th floor. What is great you don’t see children running around. Valet parking is awesome and inexpensive. The location is close to great restaurants in the area and downtown and the LSU campus. Of course being next to the Mississippi River is beautiful. We would hope with the land they have, they may soon will develop a 9 hole or 18 hole golf course but again, we would prefer they don’t get too large where ther are not able to continue providing good customer service.

Our room had an odor of mildew that was wreaking from what I assumed was the carpet and curtains. The sink was soiled and the bathroom floor was dirty. The smell was so intense that though we had booked to be there for 5 nights, I barely made it through the first night. Between my next door neighbor smoking marijuana and the smell of mildew mixed, it was not the desired stay that was intended. The furnishings are thrifty and dated.

The hotel is very nice. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was nice. The cleaning staff came by everyday and replenished the towels and coffee supplies. The casino is nice too. Very clean, even the smoking area. They have good restaurants too. The price is much better during the weekday. I would recommend this hotel with 5 Stars out of 5.

Decent two night stay but the hotel definitely needs updating and a thorough cleaning. The carpet in the room was extremely worn and the headboards were missing pieces of the faux leather. The shower had mold and could use some scrubbing. The casino and restaurants were nice.

The room was cold and very damp. The sheets were damp and never dried out. Even with new linens, hey became damp by nightfall. Our feet and socks became wet when walking on the carpeted surface. There was visible water seepage from the carpeted area to the entry way tile/linoleum. We even turned the heater on to try and dry out the room. As for food, there was nothing available in the towers where the rooms are. You have to go to the Casino side tp get food. Except on Friday and Saturday, food venues closed and there was nothing available for late night eating.

The check in process was fine, pool was great but the room?! Absolutely tragic!! Smelled like a combo of wet gerbil and a dirty diaper trying to be covered up by cheap febreze!!! Carpet was damp and so old and nasty, definitely NOT impressed with the hotel but casino, food and pool were great.

We had a terrible experience as some people had a radio on full volume as they went down the hall and into the room next to us. We made the front desk aware of the noise and they sent someone up. Within 30 seconds after the hotel personnel left the radio was blasting again. This went on till 0130.

Rooms need updating. Rooms at this price point should have a mini fridge and USB charging outlets. My biggest issue with our room was that the water in the shower was lukewarm at best and couple that with there being no heater in the bathroom made the showering experience a bit chilly. The property and the room were clean and the beds in the room was comfortable.

Stayed here many times, this time in particular I needed a room change from two queens to a king. Upon request for a simple bed change the lovely ladies at the desk upgraded us to a suite. What a nice time.

I didn’t like that there were no carts for the luggage. I went during the week and the place was not busy at all. I waited 15 min for someone to come to the front desk. I had to take all of my luggage to my room. The hallways were extremely cold. They had really small heaters placed throughout the hotel that was not warming anything. The main entrance was decorated nicely but the rooms need an update and the caulking around the showers were black. The floors should be upgraded. I travel a lot and for the price we paid I expected better.

I really liked the room, staff and hotel itself. However there were no eating facilities at the hotel. All dining was to be done at the adjacent casino. There was limited choices and one place we went to just for pastries around 9:00 am seemed to be closed (lights off/no attendant) - only to hear that help is hard to come by. So, hotel is great. Go into town for a variety of meals.

The hotel was great. The only issue I had is there is 24 hour casino, yet nowhere to get food after 10 there. You couldn't even get coffee in the morning because it didn't open till 9 or 10. The staff was wonderful, especially the lobby desk staff. They were great. I would recommend this hotel to everyone, but prepare yourself with bringing food and snacks.

Friendly people but played for long periods of time on machines and never got offered a drink,had to walk around to find a waitress and ended up going to the bar and had to pay for our drinks. Not enough restaurants.

Would have been better if I didn’t feel so bad. Thought they would have had more choices to eat. Didn’t want a big buffet so late. Sportman grill had a 35 minute wait or could have sat in the other section so I ask it all the chairs were high and he said yes. With my back hurting would never been able to get down. So we settled for PJ’s. Had cold sandwiches which they toasted, was better than we thought. Also ate there for breakfast the next morning.
