Disappointed the pool was closed. People were real nice.

The front desk service was quick and funny- great personalities! Some of the interior could have been updated and some trim work was broken- but that did not affect my comfort or stay. It was quiet and comfy. The rooms are small (part of the mirco part of the name) and there isn't a fridge or microwave in the room, but I didn't require one for this short stay. I would stay again.

Sometimes it's hard to find a parking spot with all the contractor trucks

Very nice staff, small room with no fridge. Otherwise, for an affordable hotel it was clean and everything in good working order.

Room was clean and updated; however, they removed the refrigerator and microwave from the rooms. Also, the pool has been filled with concrete. The only gripe i had was with the toilet in our bathroom that reeked of urine even after roo. service thoroughly cleaned it. This may have been due to the previous occupant, so i will not blame the brand. Overall, i would not recommend this hotel due to some maintenance issues.

No refrigerator in room, no USB outlets to charge cell phones.

This place is in poor condition for the price. Our bedsheets had stains on them and the air conditioner wouldn't cool the room off. The pool is closed permanently. The floors were filthy and there was liquid on the floor near the bed. This is a $60 per night motel charging $90.

Front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. My only disappointment was that there was no pool since the website photos depict one.

The beds are very nice but my feet became filthy black walking around in my room. Also, coffee and breakfast supplies were not kept fresh all the time. Would stay there again, but floors need more cleaning and would love it if there were fridges and microwaves in regular rooms, not just in the suites. Also it would be great if protein could be added to the breakfast bar. But the staff was friendly and accommodating.

Breakfast is not what is expected But just for 1 night i killed 4 roaches in the room i think they need to improve on the cleaning the toilet it wasn't clean it locked like the people who slept the night before us they dropped red drink on the toilet it was all over the sit

The room was unhealthy to stay in. After a long trip to get there i promptly fell a sleep. When I awoke I went into the bathroom to find there was fecies on the bath tub below the toilet paper holder and on the light switch. When I went back to bed I found blood had been spattered on the wall. I also found trash on the floor behind the trash can. The room was 116. The health department needs to be contacted concerning this matter. This was a handy cap room. This is a wyndom hotel. This was the worse hotel I have ever stayed in. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Room was clean and easily accessible. Quiet and safe.

The room was large with sofa and ottoman, sidebar with chairs ,fridge, coffee maker. Room was spotless, hardwood floors, comfortable bed. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only negative was that carpets in the hallway was stained in some spots.

Dirty floors in bathroom and room. Hardwood/tile floors made out socks dark brown. Wall was covered in dirt and streaks.

While the host and receptionists were nice, the hotel was not what we expected. On the outside, the property appears to be kept up well, but I had to check out after night one because I saw two roaches and they were big, which to me, says they’ve been there a while.

The room/ bathroom were dirty. The toilet had cracks and no caulking around it. Dirty stained sheets. Received a phone call from the front desk about a noise complaint when we were sleeping.

The room temperature was very comfortable. The shower pressure and temperature were perfect. The frig was too small for what I needed. I was told I could go to Walmart and buy a cooler and ice. The tub faucet leaked continually. The ice machine was right outside my room, the noise of ice dropping kept me awake.

Hotel was clean and tidy however the walls between the rooms are not noise proof. My adjacent room had their TV run the entire night and I could hear it all from the weather to the state of the union address. No sleep at all

Walls were very thin and noise from neighboring room kept us awake. However, the front desk staff were EXCELLENT and put us in a different room without the noise guest next door.

This hotel is truly it's name MICROtel - in my search criteria, the very first thing I searched was KING SIZE beds, and this hotel came up. I was POSITIVE that I booked a king bed, but when we got to the hotel we were informed that they don't have king beds on property AT ALL. So, small bed, small room, small hallways, small parking lot, etc. However, we just slept and left for the whole day. The floor was pretty dirty initially, and I saw a little paper in a corner of the room that was never cleaned up. Bathroom was pretty clean, something was up with the shower - the faucet was coming out of the wall. Also, I know that SOMEONE has to be right by the elevator, and that was US - was noisy all night long with people getting on and off the elevator.

The room was clean, but needed some repair, especially in the bathroom, the sink faucet only had warm or hot water (not pleasant when brushing teeth) , the toilet bowl was extremely scratched and the lever to flush kept sticking.

Room was small, stuffy, and only one wall outlet, no usb plugs

Was told there would be a $40 early check-in fee, even though NO ONE was there. Our room was small but seemed nice at first. The air conditioner was loud the entire time, sounded like water was dripping at a heavy flow. The bed squeaked very loudly whenever you moved. There was a piece of basically cardboard over the back of the toilet so every time you flushed the thing moved.

It was a one night stay. The room was smaller than we expected but it was comfortable bed.. fridge/ microwave in the room. Bathroom decent. Price for the location was high. It sits back behind a strip mall heavy traffic.

I have never been so insulted by a night desk clerk as i was last night. 9/24 to 9/25. I politly asked about a tractor trailer left idling all night in the front parking lot. Only to be told there was nothing that could be done. Very unprofessional staff.

Staff was friendly, nice place to stay

Great cost-effective hotel to stay at when traveling for work. Close to many restaurants within close driving distance. Management and staff are easy to communicate with & quick to address any concerns or issues during my short stay. The room is always clean & cozy. I feel so comfortable, safe, & welcomed that I stay here often for work.

My wife and I stayed in this place as part of a long cross-country drive and this was the worst stay of the entire trip. The staff of this place - without exception - makes no eye contact, does not greet guests or says hello, and answers all questions monosyllabically. This is true for concierge, room service people, and managers. I entered the elevator with the hotel manager - a woman holding a clip board and barking commands into a walkie-talkie, who was going from floor to floor, knocking on room doors for whatever reason. She did not acknowledge me with a good morning, made no attempt to smile, and barely uttered "what number" to press the elevator button. When we called the front desk to ask for a late checkout, the person who answered unapologetically retorted "Eleven-thirty" without a hint of courtesy (regular check-out is at 11). I was sitting in a lobby with my wife, having a quiet conversation, when the staff got in a group nearby and started having a heated discussion between themselves, completely drowning us out by loud yelling. It felt like we were in a bad movie made to illustrate what a "motel from hell" would look like. It looked like someone threw up in an elevator so the whole evening it was going up and down with a Wet Floor sign next to an unseemly puddle but no one cared to clean it up. It was gone in the morning. Other than that, the place was relatively clean. The room was alright if you care for a wall that is all mirror.

The staff here was amazing!

This property was very run down and dirty and is in desperate need of a remodel. The staff was also less than welcoming. There wasn't anyone at the front desk when we arrived and when the staff appeared they seemed put out by our arrival. He was not welcoming, gave very little information and was bothered by our request for Wyndham points, which we did not receive despite being members. The cleaning staff was very loud in the hallway each morning despite the do not disturb sign. Our room was dirty and there were visible stains on the window seat cushion. We only sat on the beds and I was worried about their cleanliness as well. The only plus was the rate for our stay - two nights for $180 I do not recommend this hotel and will never stay here again.

My stay was quiet as I like. The staff was very accommodating. I had an accident and they went out of their way to take care of me and show concern.

Decent room for the price.. but right behind the hotel is a trailer park… lots of people coming and going/ lots of people hanging out and drinking in the parking lot in the evening time… kinda sketchy

We were in Shelbyville for a horse show at Cooper Steel Arena. Hotel is a great location. Clean, safe and quiet.

There was a lot of outside noise--trucks, beeping, not the fault of the hotel.

The hotel appeared to be recently remolded. There was a lot of outside noise. The furniture had older stains on the couches. Our shower didn't drain and the lights in the bathroom only worked half of the time. The breakfast had a couple bags of oatmeal. The waffle maker had some sort of previously melted food on it. When asked if we could wash it, we were told there was no where to clean it. I would not stay at this location again. It was close to our location of where we needed to go the next day, but the part of town it was located in, appeared less than desirable. The bed and bathroom appeared clean, but again, there were stains on the shower curtain and furniture.

Staff were nice but the property was not very clean. Our tv didn’t work and someone had to come and fix it. At 8:30 pm. But they did. Breakfast wasn’t much.

Listed as an accessible room, it was not, especially not the bathroom. However, the best hotel in Shelbyville. Was clean and comfortable. Could have used a chair or two without wheels, especially since it was supposed to be an accessible room. Breakfast was average.

Great location but wasn't much of a choice for breakfast. So, other than that our overall stay was good.

The property was filthy from dirty rooms, hairs on the sheets, grime around the base of the toilet causing a horrible smell and there were even cigarette (or some type of) burn holes in our blankets. The breakfast was disgusting too. The waffle mix was sour. Every person I witnessed threw them away like I did. The coffee was made from some syrup and the juices were watered down. We will never be back.

The one guy that check me in was good and But one thing he didn’t mention is about the breakfast or anything else about the hotel and room was clean and good but the breakfast was nasty especially the pancake I cook it twice still wasn’t cook inside the pancake it was nasty and didn’t have anything else besides cereal and bread and bagels and fruits is ok I need water in my apple juice it alway sweet

After driving all day, the room and comfy bed were just what I needed. The breakfast was a bit lacking, no hot food like shown in the photos. Nice hotel at a very reasonable price.
