I really enjoyed my stay here, we did a birthday thing so there 5 of us and everything went well. There was enough room to sleep 6, which was awesome. The room came with a mini fridge, microwave and a hot top cooker (we didn’t use this). There were pots, pans, dishes and utensils provided! The room itself was beautiful, the set up, colours. Beds were a bit on the soft side but I’m not complaining. It’s conveniently between Huntsville and Algonquin so day trips are super easy! We had a great time! Hope to come back again!

While the motel (and our room ) are clearly of an earlier vintage, the room was very clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities we needed plus easy access to what the room had to offer— nice large fridge, effective window air conditioner, clean washrooms etc

Our expectation of a “luxury tent” experience didn’t include black mold on the walls behind the bed, in the bathroom and inside the shower walls and on the curtains. In addition, we were surprised to find that there was no way to lock the tent. If you choose to stay in tent #1, the sounds of highway 60 are audible, so be aware that this isn’t exactly a tranquil setting. The wood floors are pretty filthy so be sure to bring flip flops to walk around and shower with. If this review is met with the “why didn’t you say anything during the stay?” rebuttal, my response in advance would be, “why not proactively get rid of the black mold and install a lock, thereby providing your guests something resembling safe and secure?”

Great location on the way to Algonquin. Family run and the hosts are very attentive. My son and I had a great Father’s Day here exploring the area, and there’s even a beautiful trail behind the hotel with a scenic river. The rooms are comfy and beds are well-kept and clean. Will be coming back here in the future with other family members.
