It was fine for what we needed, a safe place to sleep, as we were out and about every day. Excellent free parking, owners very accomodating, providing extra coffee, shampoos, toilet paper etc when we asked. I loved having the seaview balcony to sit on with my coffee Pillows were too soft for me, otherwise bed was comfortable. Just a small average fairly priced motel, would probably stay again when Im in town

Beautiful view of the harbour. Highway noise but with the sliding doors closed no noise was heard. Nice clean, crisp high thread count cotton sheets and cozy comforter. Had a great sleep. Great location to enjoy all that Ladysmith offers.

Staff was lovely and bed was very comfy. There's enough highway noise that the balcony wasn't very useable. Also, the listing says there is laundry but there is not - it's just a laundromat down the street that's mostly broken.

Super clean but very dated. Odd that the staff (owners) were away and reception locked up at check in time 4pm. Walking distance to all the shopping and restaurants in Ladysmith. Great water view from the balcony.

Great toilet paper, kitchen, decently form and comfortable bed. Tons of snow in the parking lot, only space for a few cars. Could hardly park safely and had to do a 10 point turn to get out.

The room was very clean. Negative. It’s right next to the trans-Canada. There was no hairdryer. Staff was not available other than for check-in. We were on our own 10 minutes after check-in. No ice available and no staff on phone, reception door locked at 5:00 pm. This room cost almost $200 for a clean bed and room and nothing else. Lady Smith is a lovely little town.

Such a cute place! Very clean. Small A/C made the room temperature bearable, but could've been cooler in this heatwave. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. I would happily stay here again.

The property and room were very dirty and run down. The room had a wall air conditioner in the far corner of the second room so it didn’t cool off the whole place. There was clutter outside the room and outside the building. The deck chairs were so dirty we used chairs from inside the room to sit outside.

We were happy with the basics, comfy bed, good shower, and room was clean. It just lacked a few amenities one normally expects i.e. hair dryer, iron, luggage stand. Room just needs a little updating, but it suited our needs and overall, we were satisfied.

Rooms and property are a bit old but taken care of! Room we had could be considered a bit small and would have liked a bigger balcony area with a small table but I knew all that! 2 of us can go Ladysmith for 5 nights and happy with motel! Very clean and our needs were met! I had read previously that some people complained about highway noise? Really! The motel is right beside the highway! Lol. We shut balcony door closed the curtains and turned A/C on! Problem solved! Will gladly stay again!

Lovely friendly front desk and convenient location for our purposes. VERY noisy overnight traffic. No heat control in room and was very cold. Had to ask to be turned up plus a small plug in heater to get room up to ready temperature.

Very friendly host …. Very accommodating. We didn’t like our first room and were going to leave.Our friendly host quickly gave us a nicer room. The motel was in a convenient location for our needs. But next time I will spend a bit more money for a quiet nights sleep. Recommend ear plugs because of traffic noise or maybe a fan for white noise. All in all it was clean and comfortable.

Quaint little spot right across from the ocean. Staff was absolutely lovely and the neighbourhood is walkable. Nice little coffee shop across the street and a couple pubs within the same block. It’s nothing fancy but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. Would stay again.

Very convenient. Friendly welcome. Clean. Great location right in town so you can walk around easily. There is road noise but we turned the A/C on fan to cover that. Great motel!

Pros; check-in easy, parking easy, beds fine, clean linens, helpful staff Cons; shower way too low, very dated room, smoking allowed on balconies which chased us into our room (room smelled of smoke), AC behind curtain that couldn't be pushed aside due to bracket, patio door didn't lock, when trying to sleep there was an odd and annoying clicking sound but couldn't find the source, when we were able to sit on the balcony it was a lovely view but extremely noisy because of highway.
