It was very quiet. We could barely hear the traffic coming off the highway. The property was clean. The suite was clean. The only problem we had was the parking. We had to park near some bushes near the road and walk to the suite because the people below us took 3 spots

A very surprising jewel. We booked at the last minute and were not expecting much for the price. Were we surprised! The property right off Highway 1 on the edge of town and were very quiet. Every cabin had parking at their door. Property is pet friendly. Rooms were very clean with small personal touches of art. Our cabin had a river trail behind it on the other side of the fence. This was a very relaxing stay away from all the hustle of the lower main land. Definitely a place we will stay again.

Pet friendly and the staff are awesome and amazing they go above and beyond So incredibly thoughtful snacks are in the rooms Super so cosy and comfortable the blanket smells so clean and fresh I don’t go anywhere else. This is the best place when I go through Hope. I highly suggest anybody come here, big families, a small little romantic getaway, all our equally catered to Games are out on the front lawn for families to play or couples Great location walks away from restaurants shop stores the river great for walks for the dogs Did I mention how amazing the people are that run this place? They are so kind so amazing.

Cute, quaint ,clean. Not fancy but everything is good. Excellent front desk , excellent parking. Very walkable to Hope's downtown.which is also cute and quaint with fantastic scenery. The Blue Moose cafe , Stallones are excellent spots to eat

Parking lot is paved in loose gravel which made it unsafe to park a motorcycle. Door lock defective and difficult to open.Rooms need renovation.

It’s clear this property is being updated. I was worried when I got to the front desk, but was so happy when I saw my room. One of the cleanest rooms I have ever stayed in. I travel a lot for work and really appreciated the super comfy bed which was also clearly new. Will be back. The staff were also very friendly.

We stayed for one night during a driving trip. The biildings are 80 years old (a paper in the office showed that they opened originally in 1934) and while it has been updated since, it is in need of another refresh. The room was clean but very, very basic. Mold spots above the tub area. A banquette in the living room area had no seat cushions. The door was very difficult to open (you can only open it with the key and I felt I might twist the key in half trying to open the door). The bed was comfortable. If you are looking at just a basic accommodation for a night at a low price this property does exactly that. Do not expect any frills - and that includes that there was only 1/3 of a roll of toilet tissue in the bathroom.

I stayed in a pet friendly room. It was a horrible stay. The room was filthy, there were ants climbing around my bed and floor. I didnt sleep well as the motel manager suite was above me and he was vacuuming after 11 pm. I will never stay there again.

Very basic. The aircon had not been turned on and was not in the bed area and so it took a lot of time for the room to cool down. No room for bedside tables for glasses or cpap machine or plugin. Expensive for what you got.

Only a one night stay but this felt like too long. From the outside the property appears very neglected and run down which confined to the interior and the very dodgy lock on the room door. The beds were hard. The bathroom needs to be refurbished. The decor is very dated. We didn’t hang around and made an early get away in the morning. One saving grace was air conditioning. Give this a miss if you can.

I booked my stay and when i arrived they told me they doble booked. They set us up in the red roof motel accross the road. Terrible room that had many issues including sloped floors, 5'5"shower head you had to squat to use. The room stunk and needed a good deep cleaning and mintenance. Shhets felt like plastic. For my first experience using hotels.com I honestly would problably never use it again. Nor will i ever stay at the Swiss Chalets. I do not recommend the red roof motel. I think I'd rather have slept in the car.

The stay was great and everything except when it came time to checkout the owner went to check our room before giving our deposit back, and he comes back and accuses us of smoking in the room, we both do not smoke, and i made that clear, seemed like he was trying to find a reason to keep the deposit. It’s next to highway 1 but not too noisy. There’s a river not far from the back of hotel. The room retains its antique feature. It needs some freshen up to do. But with the low price, we’re quite happy.
