Hotel que con el paso de los años ha ido a menos ! necesita una remodelación que parece que en breve van a hacer. Por otro lado, tema parking, si tenéis coches de más de 4,20m olvidaros de aparcar, altísimas posibilidades de rayar el coche, el acceso al parking es muy, muy justo.

The hotel is in a perfect location for all the museums and in easy walking distance of the main squares and shopping areas. Reception staff are friendly and helpful. Quirky artwork in reception is great. Rooms are a good size and our balcony was a nice treat. Calle de Prado is a one-way street but is very quiet at night, we weren't ever disturbed. Bed was huge and really comfortable and the bathroom was well laid out with a choice of showers. Coffee and tea were available by the lift on our floor. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast but there are several cafes within a short walk that do a basic coffee, orange juice and pastry breakfast for €5. Finally the price for the level of service and comfort is fantastic value for money.

Small hotel conveniently located within walking distance of all Madrid's attractions. Very modern. Bed was excellent. Safe was on the floor and very difficult to use. I appreciate the safe and wish it was higher up. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely go back and stay there again.

Fabulous quirky modern hotel, very central for all the usual tourist sites but amazingly quiet overnight. Very comfortable beds and absolutely loved the mirror turned TV screen. And friendly,helpful staff to top the experience. Thoroughly recommended.

Perfect location for walking around Madrid. Lots of bars and restaurants within short walking distance and close to all public transport links. Room was ideal for city break, comfortable, clean and nice design. Only slight downside is there not being any outside seating/ terrace to relax in, but wasn’t a problem for us.

La chambre au rez de chaussée ne reseemble pas du tout aux photos. La seule fenetre donne sur une toute petite cour intérieure. Pas de petit déjeuner possible. Seule une machine a café au premier étage... J'ai été obligé de réclamer à 2 reprises qu'ils forcent l'au chaude pour pouvoir se doucher à une température correcte. Soit disant que cette chambre (004) a des problèmes. Dans ce cas, soit on résout les problèmes soit on averti les clients ou on leur propose une autre chambre. ce qui n'a pas été fait. Aprés leur intervention l'eau chaude est arrivée mais pour 2 douches il a fallu demander 2 fois... Autrement l'emplacement est idéal a deux pas de la plaza santa ana et de bons bars restaurants. Le parking trop petit pour ma voiture nous a obligé a nous garer a la plaza santa ana à 36 € par jour sans compensation ou réduction de l'hotel. au final, on va dire que le prix est juste correct pour le service.

For the prices charged by the hotel, the rooms are tiny, the coffee machine is only one for the entire floor (placed near the elevator) and one entire day it didn't work, the air conditioning was weak (until we complained to the staff, then they did something to boost it), and the floors were dirty upon our arrival (with a big lump of hairs sitting right in front of the mini fridge!)... So, this property needs a lot of improvement or to slash prices by 50% (which I guess will not happen).

Staff was lovely and attentive. Prime location. Comfortable room and bed. The condition of the room was a bit run down. They need to give housekeeping more time to clean the rooms and maintenance needs to do basic upkeep. I had problems with my shower drain; there was no body wash in the container when I arrived, the floor was so dirty that walking around in my socks I had long hair as well as a lot of dirt/dust/lint on them. The walls have a lot of marks on them (from dirty hands/feet) and other signs that the room was lacking in routine maintenance. For ex, the glass frame on the artwork in the room (which was very spare) was cracked and held together with scotch tape. The curtains too: servicable, but very worn out looking and very dusty, especially at the top. These routine things were kind of a bummer, because it was otherwise a very excellent hotel.

To say we were disappointed on walking into the room is an understatement. It was tiny and claustrophobic. There was no outlook to speak of, just walls and windows; in fact the windows had to have opaque film over them, as you could see straight into the windows of a room opposite. Whilst clean, the toilet was dark as the lighting was inadequate. We will say that the shower was good and the bed was comfortable and there was adequate air conditioning. Whilst we were in Madrid to go sightseeing, there was no incentive to spend any time in the room at all.

We enjoyed our stay, our room was not cramped. The only two things I will mention.. The room had AC, but it did not work too well. We could not adjust the settings and felt it could have been stronger. Second, the window did not have blackout curtains, so it was hard to sleep with all the light coming in from the courtyard. Although we had concerns, I would still come back to this property.

We stayed here for one night as a family. They allowed us to drop off our luggage early in the morning, so we could go and explore the city. The staff was very friendly and the room was very nice. Our only complaint is that we would have liked the room a bit cooler. Other than that, great location, great price, and great service!

The staff was kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. I was very jet lagged from my travels when I arrived, but I was able to nap immediately thanks to how quiet my room was. For me, the location was excellent. Everything was walkable. I would absolutely stay here again.

La propiedad o instalaciones son muy básicas pero lo que definitivamente me sorprendió y que hizo que nos sintiéramos como en casa es la atención tan personalizada de las chicas de recepción. Desgraciadamente no tome el nombre de ellas pero me tocó que me atendieran dos de ellas el día 4 de septiembre por la tarde cuando llegamos y después muy temprano a la mañana siguiente. Estuvieron muy atentas en solicitarme un taxi al aeropuerto y saliendo a la calle para asegurarse que llegara a tiempo y no se fuera a pasar de largo. Les agradezco enormemente por sus atenciones. En cuanto a las instalaciones, la puerta de la regadera no cierra bien y el agua se cuela hasta el area de lavamanos. Logística: la ubicación, aunque esta muy céntrica para salir a caminar y comer no es exactamente estrategica para tomar una ruta de transporte publico sencilla hacia el aeropuerto. Yo para asegurarme solicité un taxi porque mi vuelo salia temprano, me lo solicitaron amablemente en recepción y me cobró 33 euros hasta la T1 del MAD-Barajas. Gracias a todo el equipo de One Shot Prado !!!

Sou cliente do One Shot e recomendei a algumas pessoas. Mas desta vez foi muito difícil. Havia solicitado 2 camas de solteiro. Embora eu tivesse reservado com antecedência não foi o que ocorreu. Chegamos por volta das 22 horas e reservaram um quarto minúsculo e sujo . Me pareceu ser de solteiro. Reclamei com a recepcionista Suzane que não tinha nenhuma habilidade em lidar com o publico e um pouco grosseira decidi falar com Hoteis.com . A Sara foi muito atenciosa e entendeu o problema. No dia seguinte mudamos de quarto. Mas achei muito estranho que em um ano o One Shot 23 tenha caído tanto.

Visited the One Shot Prado for 2 nights in mid-Nov. There were several protest around Madrid that week and police had closed several roads around the city. One of those was in front of the hotel. The staff provided us with a printed receipt we could use to get past the police roadblocks. Everyone we interacted with on the staff were very helpful suggesting areas we should avoid because of the various protest and a slew of nearby restaurants. As for the hotel, its location within easy walking distance to many downtown attractions. Various eating options were also just steps away. We had a first floor inner facing room. It was plenty quiet, the size was adequate, and the beds were comfortable. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to any of our friends. Not sure why there are other negative reviews about the staff attitude, but that certainly didn't happen during our visit.

Being a smaller hotel, it was quiet. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Its within walking distance of the Royal Palace of Madrid, the Prado and other attractions. We walked everywhere, most locations being less than a mile from the front door. There are lots of food and shopping opportunities conveniently located nearby. We would stay here again

The hotel is in a perfect location for all the museums and in easy walking distance of the main squares and shopping areas. Reception staff are friendly and helpful. Quirky artwork in reception is great. Rooms are a good size and our balcony was a nice treat. Calle de Prado is a one-way street but is very quiet at night, we weren't ever disturbed. Bed was huge and really comfortable and the bathroom was well laid out with a choice of showers. Coffee and tea were available by the lift on our floor. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast but there are several cafes within a short walk that do a basic coffee, orange juice and pastry breakfast for €5. Finally the price for the level of service and comfort is fantastic value for money.

We stayed here for one night as a family. They allowed us to drop off our luggage early in the morning, so we could go and explore the city. The staff was very friendly and the room was very nice. Our only complaint is that we would have liked the room a bit cooler. Other than that, great location, great price, and great service!

Localização excelente! Perto dos museus, da Plaza de Santa Anna. Restaurantes e cafés na rua. Melhor bairro para ficar. O hotel tem recepção fofa, é pequeno, tem elevador, cafeteira no corredor com chá e biscoitos à vontade. A cápsula do café fica no quarto (2 por dia) ou pode pedir na recepção. A limpeza deixa a desejar. Paredes sujas no quarto. O banheiro é bem estranho, porque a porta blindex não oferece nenhuma privacidade para o box ou sanitário. A pia fica num espaço aberto para o quarto. Já os produtos de higiene, e também as toalhas, são maravilhosos. A roupa de cama é bem cuidada. A TV é espelhada, moderna. O quarto era silencioso. O ar-condicionado funcionou. Há frigobar no quarto. Não há café da manhã no hotel, nem possibilidade de refeições.

Perfect location for walking around Madrid. Lots of bars and restaurants within short walking distance and close to all public transport links. Room was ideal for city break, comfortable, clean and nice design. Only slight downside is there not being any outside seating/ terrace to relax in, but wasn’t a problem for us.

La chambre au rez de chaussée ne reseemble pas du tout aux photos. La seule fenetre donne sur une toute petite cour intérieure. Pas de petit déjeuner possible. Seule une machine a café au premier étage... J'ai été obligé de réclamer à 2 reprises qu'ils forcent l'au chaude pour pouvoir se doucher à une température correcte. Soit disant que cette chambre (004) a des problèmes. Dans ce cas, soit on résout les problèmes soit on averti les clients ou on leur propose une autre chambre. ce qui n'a pas été fait. Aprés leur intervention l'eau chaude est arrivée mais pour 2 douches il a fallu demander 2 fois... Autrement l'emplacement est idéal a deux pas de la plaza santa ana et de bons bars restaurants. Le parking trop petit pour ma voiture nous a obligé a nous garer a la plaza santa ana à 36 € par jour sans compensation ou réduction de l'hotel. au final, on va dire que le prix est juste correct pour le service.
