We had a nice large room that turned out to be quiet and comfortable. A restaurant is attached to the motel that had delicious food. There was a nice kitchenette that we used for our breakfast. We left very early before the continental breakfast was available so the manager let us pick some items the night before.

Staff are super friendly and helpful. The hotel is older and hasn’t been updated a bunch, but it is quiet and clean and comfortable. The onsite Indian restaurant was delicious. Convenient laundry facilities. I found this place really nice and was glad I stayed.

We spent three nights in a kitchenette unit and we were impressed by how clean it was, with modern appliances and a good size fridge. There is also a gigantic tv with many channels. The hotel is dated, but the upgrades make it very comfortable. There is also an awesome Indian restaurant on site and a small liquor store. While it is next to the airport, there are very few flights and noise wasn't an issue. It is only a 10 min drive from Port Hardy and it is in close proximity to nice beach walks. There is also a laundry room on site that guests can use after 4pm. Bernie the manager was excellent!!

This old fashioned hotel was tolerable. On the good side: a fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room. The bedding and towels were clean, though thin, like the walls. The usual continental breakfast offerings. Not so good: old and dingy carpets, walls, bathroom tiles (mildew), etc. Not worth the price, but it was less expensive than most of the others that were available in town.

The good - friendly staff, nice onsite restaurant, clean bedding, outdoor patio. The bad - room had urine odour, outdoor courtyard needs to be weeded, no 24 reception, still using a key for room access. There should be staff at 5am for all the guests departing for the ferry. We couldn't re-enter to retrieve something left in the room. Person answered on 2nd number and was very surly. Not a place we would stay at again.

The bed was comfortable but the underwear under the bed made the comfort questionable. The bathroom was dated but the clump of hair made the dated look disgusting. Long short it is in need of some love. Upon arrival we were told that the hotel was short staffed. It showed by a he lack of attention to detail. Everything was done to minimal standards.

The bed was clean, but the room smelled moldy — like an old building. Because of that, the whole place felt damp and musty. The staff were unfriendly, and the breakfast was terrible. It would’ve been better if breakfast hadn’t been included at all. The “breakfast included” part of the booking felt almost like a scam.

My room was the first room in the corridor. The corridor was having a door which was heavy. Each time people came in or went out through the corridor, the door slamming loudly. One morning, other guests might need to catch a very early morning flight, and woke me up. Other than the door all other things were good. Staff were friendly.

This is a smaller older Motel, however it is well built with concrete and concrete construction making it very quiet. However the concrete block walls are not particularly attractive, but I'm happy with the quietness. There has been some renovation so overall condition is quite good for an older building.

We booked a stay for after our arrival from Prince Rupert on the inside passage ferry. We got in late (arrived at the hotel about 1 AM) along with a slew of others. The manager was set up and ready to efficiently get us all checked in, which was great after such a long day. The building is pretty old, but they keep everything super clean and have nice new beds, a big fridge, etc. So it made for a very comfortable stay before we carried on down island.

The staff at the Airport Inn was friendly and accommodating. Though when you walk into the hall ways the smell of smoke was fairly prominate . The rooms do not have air conditioning which would be fine if you stayed there in the winter months. You definitely hear other traveller's in the hall way. For those that take the early morning ferry they allow you to go into the breakfast room the night before and help yourself to any breakfast items you would like. Which was great!

Bernie the manager, went above and beyond. We were going out to San Josef Bay the next day for a hike and we were going to miss continental breakfast so he told us to come and see him after we got settled and he let us go into the breakfast room and pick things so that we wouldn't miss out. He made our stay an extra great. It's a nice quite area!

The Airport Inn really delivered on everything they offer. (1) We arrived early, were given the room right away (2) Staff were very welcoming and informative (3) The room was spacious, two very comfortable beds, a good sized very clean bathroom with loads of towels (4) Fridge was narrow but tall: great to have on a road trip! Microwave, coffee maker all good. (5) Breakfast included fruit, yogurts, cream cheese, cereals, milks, coffee, tea, several kinds of baked goods. All you need for a nice start. (6) The on-site Indian restaurant was delicious! Glad we read previous reviews and made that our last meal on the island. (7) Gotta repeat: great staff! Everyone we encountered was friendly but the Manager was exceptional. While the Airport Inn isn't in the heart of Port Moody it perfectly served our needs since we were exploring. All in all, excellent choice!

Last week, we arrived on the ferry in the wee hours and received a warm welcome at the hotel. We were in our clean, quiet room within a minute and had a good sleep. The breakfast in the morning is standard for hotels and everything was very pleasant. On our drive to Victoria, I received a phone call from the hotel notifying me that I had left my laptop under the bed. The manager, Bernie, immediately offered to package it up and send it to me. Today, I received it and he sure went above and beyond in wrapping it up. It was very secure from damage and is in perfect shape. It’s very heart warming to have such a big favour done by a stranger…and it goes without saying, that the hotel staff is very honest! Many thanks to all.

We had booked 2 rooms on our way to Quatsino fishing. Bernie was great, he sent an email prior to our trip and called after we first booked in March. I always ask for a quiet room with a view. He let me know it was by the airport with no view. We were supposed to get an upgrade but the Inn and all of the hotels in the area were full. The upgrade wasn't a big deal, we just wanted a clean room. He sent someone up to check the room for us and offered to let us use the breakfast room if we wanted a bigger space to have a beer and chat. The customer service was very attentive. The room was clean, the appliances were fairly new. A big sized fridge, coffee maker and microwave. The continental breakfast was good.

The manager checked us in. He was personable, friendly and great. This is a standard motel, average in most ways. The breakfast was continental - tea/coffee, fruit, yoghurt, toast. Location is close to the town's small airport, but only good if you have a car. About 10 km from town.

Barely a 10 minute walk to the airport, which is perfect to retrieve a rental car or even catch your flight. The manager was so kind and helpful; our ferry got in late and he stayed up and waited for us to check in. The bed was comfortable.

The staff were very attentive, friendly and professional. The room was clean. The building is getting tired, broken porcelain in the sink and tub, noticeable seams in the carpets, and the grounds are needing a refresh. We were disappointed that the restaurant is East Indian Food and it is a long ways into town for family dining. The breakfast buffet has only carbs with no protein- no eggs or anything like that. Overall though, it was clean and the bed was clean as well. The property does need a remodel soon. OK for the price!
