This well kept property is in an ideal location near the beach and the airport, in a quiet neighborhood with a local spot for food close by. The property is charming and the proprietor Gerri was the soothing balm needed after days of travel. She is a warm, welcoming host and talented cook. You feel you are home and valued. Cold water is in the fridge, there is plenty of storage space, the space is comfortable and super quiet! She also kept a friendly, caring eye out for us as we had to be up for an early morning flight and insisted we still get breakfast despite it being pitch black out still. Wish the stay could have been longer in this comfortable spot with a host who goes above and beyond.

The people who run this little B&B are so sweet that I hate to say anything negative. And normally, for small things, I would let it go. But this place needs some serious work. Shabby old towels, shabby and threadbare stained sheets, dirty corners everywhere. If someone would just clean it properly, it would improve the experience exponentially. But there were good things about it too-- the lovely proprietress, the homemade breakfast (and tea from a cup that was horribly stained on the inside though 😩), the natural breezes and location.

The toilet was broken and could not flush. The sink was dirty and clogged. The shower knob was broken. We could not differentiate between cold and warm water. The shower was clogged as well. Water accumulated while showering. A complete repair of the plumbing needs to be done.

I was flying from London to Bequia but my transatlantic flight to Barbados was re scheduled meaning I would miss my connection. I had to stay the night in Barbados and needed just a room for 1 near the airport. Found Gemini B&B for a reasonable rate and booked for 1 night. Was welcomed on arrival by Geri after have received excellent instructions regarding getting a taxi from the airport. I was shown to the room which had a big firm bed, tv, ceiling fan and air conditioning. The bathroom and toilet was next door which I had sole use of. Geri booked me a cab for the morning back to the airport and made me breakfast of an omelette, toast, juice, fruit and coffee. The room provided me with everything that I needed at a very reasonable price. My only suggestion would be to de-scale or replace the shower head as it was a bit clogged up. Overall, an excellent stay and recommended. Many thanks to Geri and Steve.

The utensils were filthy and rusty, there was fur all over. Nasty, place wasn't clean, fur on her clothes while serving people. I do not recommend. My partner and I left early and came back late.

There were cobwebs all over, the bed was hard and uncomfortable. Hair was under the bed like someone in the room and it never got cleaned. We were served with dirty forks, rusty spoons. Do better.

I was welcomed with open arms almost felt like I was visiting extended family. The area is safe and walkable down to the beach. The beach is more for surfers but it has its areas where you can get enjoy it. I was able to walk to the neighborhood store to pick up some snacks, drink etc. The room was clean with air conditioning. I got a good nights rest. Breakfast was very good specially after a run that I had taken around the neighborhood. It’s close to the airport and they helped with my transportation to the airport. I would stay here again and the hospitality was excellent.

Very helpful friendly host telling us how to get to the beach and how to get to night club near them which is bunnies. Excellent breakfast with plenty of fruit and cheese very healthy air condition rooms and separate bathroom. Everything works perfectly no hesitation in recommending.

Fantastic quiet and safe location for overnight stay between flights. Great to be able to have a walk along the beach and coast before breakfast. Easy taxi ride from airport and hosts sent good instructions. Great home cooked breakfast on patio with sound of the ocean. Enjoyed chatting with Geri. Bed comfortable and room had both air conditioning and overhead fan. Bathroom had what was needed, a little worn but not a problem. As a solo female Traveller felt very safe and nice to be staying somewhere away from the tourist resorts. Perfect for what I wanted.

The house and property are beautiful. It was a delight to spend time in the yard watching the sunset, and walking to the beach, and connecting with the host & other guests. Geri was wonderful! She made me breakfast in the morning and helped arranged transportation. I hope to go back next time I am in Barbados.

I asked a glutton of questions and Geri gave me insight into local culture, transport, money, places to see and avoid, and many other tips that make it look like I had been living there for years.

The couple running this guest house were delightful - friendly, helpful and kind. They also put us up again at very short notice when our departure flight was cancelled and we were otherwise without accommodation. It's a great spot. Highly recommended.

We loved the location being within walking distance of the beach. Also walked to a convenience store and felt perfectly safe in the neighborhood. The hosts were the best part very friendly and stood up for us after a taxi driver tried to overcharge us on a ride to the cruise port. At the time of our stay in Jan 2023 the price was $35USD and while $10 doesn't make or break a person we greatly appreciated our hosts and how they treat their guests. Breakfast was delicious and we had no complaints whatsoever. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

The gracious hospitality of the hosts and the delicious breakfast with freshly baked biscuits make this place a perfect spot for stopovers and stays. Close to the beach and a quick drive to the airport yet it's easy to take the #11 bus from here to the center of Bridgetown.

Hands down the best experience of my month in Barbados. Geri and Steve are amazing people who went way above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and at home. The breakfast was incredible. including home made breads, chutney's, spreads, omelettes, fish cakes and on and on. I extended my stay by 4 days. Thanks so much for everything Steve and Geri!
