The hotel is undergoing renovations so the pool area was closed. The elevator wasn’t operating either. The hotel itself was very unclean and unmaintained. There was an empty sandwich container on the window sill for a day. Our room was not made up so no fresh towels. The conditioner dispenser was empty. The breakfast was picked over. It was just not a pleasant stay.

elevator was broken, pool and hot tub is always closed for maintenance. hot water is hit and miss, room has had water damage on ceiling, grout on tub is all patchy and unsightly. hotel is falling apart needs quite an update.

Have stayed here many times over the years. The service is always fantastic, however, the hotel is showing its age, although kept clean. My carpet had numerous stains, and bathroom needed some Reno’s. Breakfast has a lot of options and kept fresh til breakfast time ends. The bed is very comfortable, and the robes provided are great when you go for a swim. However, the hot tub was colder than the pool. Both were in need of some cleaning. Lots of rust on all the doors, and structures in the pool area.

Our room was not clean. Bathroom and kitchenette sinks had no hot water. Shower pressure was really poor. Would be a nice hotel if it got a deep…very deep cleaning. Carpet was really stained.

Decent property but our room was filthy. Hair in the bathtub, gum stuck on the base of the lamp, couch stained and dirty, carpet was so dirty I didn’t want to walk on it with bare feet. My socks were soiled from dirt after walking on the carpet.

When we arrived at 4:30 construction going on , on the street below. wall was vibrating. this lasted until around 7:00 . my husband asked if the hotel was full, thinking maybe that is why we were given a room at the very end of the hallway facing the back. The gal at the front she seemed not to understand. Also there is lots of black mold and a ring around the tub, like it was not cleaned.

We liked this property in the past for convenience. It was always nice and clean. The property is now very worn, carpeting is stained in many spots. The wifi was almost nonexistent. Had me calling a 1-888 number for help, which was no help.

The room was great and comfortable. The elevator was not working but the hotel let us know so we could make changes if we couldn't do the stairs with our luggage which we did take advantage of. The lobby furniture was showing bad wear and tear so didnt make a great first impression. The room and staff did make up for it.

Overall we were pleased with our stay. We had a suite so the room was spacious. It was also clean and fresh and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Our only "complaint" is that the bathroom is small and for some unknown reason there was a loud noise coming through the bathroom vent that ran off and on during the night. We could not control it and it did disturb our sleep.

We spent one night here and have stayed other places in Yorkton and we chose this cuz it was cheapest for 1 night. Bed not very comfy and pillows weren’t either. Didn’t sleep the best. Came down for breakfast and the juice was very watered down and there wasn’t any hot stuff for us so we went to Tim’s instead.

Room met our needs. We knew the elevator was not working and pool was down before we arrived. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room in need of update and repair. Seems every scuff mark from a bag was like a signature on the wall never to be removed. Carpet had large stains in main walking areas. Maybe we will consider after the renovations but do not reccomend staying during the process.

Great room. Really big and comfortable. Having a kitchentte is awesome. However the shower had almost no pressure. The walls are really thin, you can gear your neighbor go to the bathroom, and the breakfast for a Home Inn and Suites wasnt as good as other locations.

Never again. Ive never left a negative review before. I dont mind if everything isnt PERFECT. BUT. First thing the staff. Walking in a strong smell of paint. I came in smiling asking about the pool. Rudely the girl at front said the pools under maintenance if you actually went on our website you would know that instead of a 3rd party site... ok i thought she was joking. Not joking. I asked about breakfast she said you can come get a bag in morning...We get to room to shower no hot water. I ask for a diffrent room. She said no you booked thought a website. Nothing i can do... ok in morning i asked for the bag of breakfast the man said no sorry. Unfortunately your to late.... ok on check out i asked for a printed copy. He said no use your 3rd party website for that.... didnt even look away from his cell phone... no how was your stay... ok we left and realized why all other hotels in yorkon looked busy and there was only 4 cars including mine at this one.. stay anywhere else!

Convenient spot as it is close to the Casino. Security is non-existent. The staff does what they can but it’s not safe when there are rowdy guests.

The Hotel was in a run down condition .floors were very dirty in the hallways and room .Elevator looked like the tracks hadn't been cleaned in months . Went to check in and nobody was available at the front desk, phone had been ringing steady .waited about 20 minutes . Had to get a fellow from the laundry room to go find somebody to check us in .stayed there a few years before it sure wasn't like this . won't be staying there again .

Short but nice stay in Yorkton. The free breakfast was very minimal and not great to be honest. I get it is not meant to be 5 star food, but there were the fake egg patties, overcooked ham circles, no bread to make a breakfast sandwich, and two types of cereal. There were 2 or 3 muffins out as well. Not really great breakfast offering- even as a “free breakfast”

Happy to know there was free breakfast, but some food was already gone, the muffins were hard and dry.. cubed potatoes were cold.. there was a lot of fruit and yogurt, and oatmeal pkgs. so we had toast and jam.
