Parking was crowded. Bar was not open

The exercise room was a disaster - equipment in disrepair, equipment not been maintained or lubricated, frayed pulley cables, missing dumbbells - no water, despite 7 empty water canisters on the floor, no cups, no towels. It was not even safe to use some of it Due to a last minute change in our plans, we had to change rooms during a 3 night stay. They could not accommodate our request for the same room, which was annoying. Our 2nd room had no extra toilet paper and only one miniscule bar of soap. It was right next to the elevator so we hear late night and early morning comings and goings. The hotel is being renovated (lobby was closed, missing baseboards everywhere) but there was no mention of it on Hotels. com - DISHONEST.

I think we got a room that was recently renovated and it was so fresh and clean and nice ! We were very comfortable, the room was cozy, we were on the end and we loved that. The parking lot was a little dicey for parking. It would see that a lot of workers stay here and they have big trucks to park at the end of the day. Over all though, great hotel. Conveniently located for shopping. We will stay here again!

You had to cross to another hotel to go to the pool. And the pool was filthy. Couldn’t see the bottom of the pool for the dirty water

I liked that there was a staircase that lead right outside and it was easy to take the dogs through there instead of going thru the lobby with them. We ended up parking on the street both nights due to not enough parking.

Overall, our stay was great. Unfortunately, if you arrive late or if you go out and come back late, you’ll have problems with parking.

I really enjoyed our stay here. There was lots of room, with a kitchen, living areas and bedroom. Good access to local stores, some of which were walkable. The beds were comfortable, the pull-out sofa bed as a couch less so (being a sofa bed). Having a kitchen that was separate from the bedroom, was very convenient. It included dishwasher, stove, microwave, full fridge and freezer and a pot, a pan and most utensils that we needed for cooking simple meals in the room. I was surprised they didn't supply salt or pepper, but the multiple nearby shops allowed us to find what we needed. From a dollar store for the salt and pepper shakers, a local bakery, to Walmart, Safeway and Real Canadian Superstore. They had laundry on the premises that was reasonably priced ($CA1.50 per wash or dry). They only stocked Tide and Bounce dryer sheets, but again, local shops made it easy to find the brands we wanted. They could make change at the desk if needed. The hotel restaurant was a combined Ricky's All Day Grill and Famoso Italian Pizzeria. The Ricky's sandwiches were decent, nothing special. The Famoso Pizzeria served fire-roasted pizza that had a delightfully crispy and light crust. The heart shaped pizza was very cute and very cheesy. Both the manager and waitress were both friendly, but a little busy making service a little slow. Overall a perfect place to stay while visiting Vernon for more than a few days.

There was no parking as 2 hotels share the same lot.

There was no parking , and I am a senior citizen. I was surprised they had blocked off approx 20 spots for "new carpet"!!

Hotel is being extensively renovated. Parking is very limited. The construction means no breakfast and limited service. It maybe good when they are done but that may be a few months.

Arrived at 10pm with 2 kids to check in. Given room on 3rd floor. Kids pulled sheets and comforter back off bed. Mattress had HUGE yellow, orange stain covering most of it. Took pictures and went to complain to front desk. Given another room. Felt uncomfortable after. What can the level of cleanliness be if such a hugely stained mattress is left for people to sleep on. To imagine kids were about to sleep on and have their faces next to that!! I would have gladly accepted my money back and found a new place to stay! Terrible!

Got there a bit early and went to see if we could check in. Receptionist advised that the housekeeper was just starting to clean, and our room would be ready in about 45 minutes. We left, and then came back. Dirty dishes in the dishwasher upon check in, and not adequately equipped in the “kitchen”. We had to buy numerous things that are normally in kitchenettes. I had to clean the bath tub before we could use it, as there was dirt, and body hair everywhere. Could only shower, as the plug in the bath tub did not work. Asked for new towels, and our garbages changed on our second day. Housekeeper left cleaning supplies and rags in our room. Beds were very uncomfortable. Not a great stay. Won’t be booking here again in the future.

Very accessible, and close to shopping. Was disappointed with state of carpet in the room and the black hair in the tub and shower.

Everything was very clean and comfortable, no issues there.

Only good thing about this hotel was the friendly staff. The room and hallways were filthy. The bathtub was so dirty my daughter didn’t want to have a shower. The worst part was my husband left covered in BED BUG bites! He slept in one of the three beds alone as I slept with my young son. It was the first stay of our trip. Leaving over the next couple hours we started to notice bites confirmed to be bed bug bites all over his body. I called the hotel head office to notify of this and they did not get back to me. I would never stay at this location again.

Beautiful hotel. Great rooms. Really comfy beds. Walkable to many restaurants in the area. Very clean.

Breakfast, cold, no cream or butter. Bathroom, dirty. Tiles around the tub coming off. Generally needs a full cleaning.

None of the towels was clean in our room. They all had stains on them. This place is managed very poorly by those new owners I believe. They do not care about the conditions of the property. Everywhere smells stale. The elevator smells like someone peed in it. Avoid this hotel at all cost.

Not a great experience. We arrived late at night, dropped off our luggage then went out to eat since I didn’t want to cook in our room with a kitchen that night. Next morning, I spilled water on the door and wiped it up and saw that the floor was absolutely filthy. I then tried to make food in our kitchen but there was no dishes available. I thought that was odd since that is the purpose of staying in a room with a full kitchen. I discovered all of the dishes dirty in the dishwasher. I spoke to the front desk and they just apologized and said they can’t do anything for us since we booked through Hotels.com. Terrible service. I even had the manager on duty come into our room so I could show her what it was like. She said even thought it is not good, she can’t do anything about it except switch rooms. We were only there for two nights so that was no longer an option. We did the express checkout and received a call at 11:02 am wondering why we were not out of our room at 11:00 am. We said we had to wait for the luggage cart to load all our stuff. There is only two carts. We were at the front desk by 11:06 am. There was a lady in front of us complaining about the dirty towels in her room and how the bathroom was filthy and the floors were dirty. It’s not just us complaining. Management doesn’t care either. We have never had a issue with Best Western, but this has now put a damper on our decision for hotels.

Great size room with kitchen and separate bedroom

Beds were too hard and pillows way to soft your head hits the bed might as well not have a pillow

Overall, very comfortable stay as far as sleep goes. However, for a suite that fits 5 people (and our booking was for 5 people), we were only given four sets of towels/facecloths, four sets of dishes, etc. We had to ask for extras each time (we stayed twice, once for 3 nights on our way to Vancouver and again for 3 nights on our way back). The kitchen was not well stocked - one large pan with a handle barely hanging on, one small pan, and a medium sized pot, but no mixing bowls or anything that one would assume would be in a full kitchen. Good location, close to Superstore and Dollarama, with easy access to the highway. We stayed on the fourth floor both times and it was nice and quiet.

They put us in the end room that is right outside a major freeway so basically paid $130 for an hours sleep.The girl at the desk said well next time you stay we'll give you a discount.Sorry there won't be a next time, by the way its room 119..Very bad service and im in the industry.

Okay, ac was not working properly very small bathrooms.

Staff was friendly and helpful We were very pleasantly surprized on the size of the room, newly renovated room including the bathroom( which are not always done when a room is updated)

Very hard bed. Both wife and I woke with sore backs both mornings. In room coffee was lacking. Tried two bags per cup and still was very weak. Restaurant was out of many choices. We ate elsewhere. Room was clean. Staff friendly. Parking was good. Overall not bad but probably spend my money elsewhere next time.

Location and parking. The room is spacious. A/C was a little noisy. Door in the hallway that goes to the stairs very noisy due to maladjusted or worn out automatic door closer.

The property was fine, the service both at the front desk and the restaurant was non existent. Waited for 20 minutes at the front desk for someone to show up and check me in. They flat out refused to give me a receipt when I checked out. They said thats up to Expedia because I booked through them. I was told to do it myself.

For the price the room was average. Clean, tidy. No buffet breakfast. Coffee in room was below average. Air conditioner noise was tolerable. Front desk clerk was not friendly both times we checked in. Did not offer any information on amenities.

Friendly staff

The front desk made no effort to get an extra pillow for our room. They said they would bring one up as they were busy. That's fair. After 45 mins I went down to see if they forgot about out request. They simply said they didn't have any pillows and that was that. What a joke! The next morning I asked a cleaning staff in the hallway for one and it wasn't an issue. Won't be returning..

Room was adequate. Check in staff curt, renovations occurring durning stat, not informed at time of booking. Treadmill not functioning in gym. Hotel staff having conversations blocking elevator while aware of customer looking to get by. I think this is the last stay in a best western, for the price I paid - competitors offer much more

Room was spacious, had most everything we needed. Front desk staff wasn’t present upon arrival, we stood around for a few minutes before they appeared. They were very curt and seemed rather checked out.

Kate was the best front desk person ever, she is polite helpful, knowledgeable and understanding. She alone will bring me back as well as staff cleaning the rooms TY all..

It was a good price and in the right spot. Rooms were clean and the staff was good to deal with.

The room was clean and presentable. Walking distance to restaurants, coffee shop and grocery store.

Mostly very good. Hotel was sold out on the weekend and only one handicapped spot in the parking lot so not easy to park. Friendly staff and very quiet considering how close the hotel is to the highway. would stay again.

The walk ability of the area was poor. Limited sidewalks and only one busy road crossing for pedestrians. Near a busy transport truck fuelling station.

Situated on a busy street and intersection with constant traffic surrounding our room. Clean and spacious, good amenities in the lobby and attached restaurants. Bit of a task walking getting to nearby groceries, etc.

The location was excellent for moving around Vernon - we stayed there for 2 days and the access to necessary travel roads was awesome. The room was great - clean, well furnished - but we found the room short on towels and accessories (toilet paper).

Good location. Room was clean. Good spot for a one-day stay.

The hotel itself was great. The area around it, not so much. We discovered a homeless camp across the road, which left us concerned about the safety of our vehicle at night. We subsequently chose to move to another hotel a bit out of town, and hopefully in a safer location. I would encourage the hotel to contact local government / law enforcement to deal with the problem.

Overall good experience, had to leave early each day for meetings and found restaurant wasnt open yet so had to find breakfast elsewhere.

Hotel was under renovation when we booked. No excess noise or interruptions occurred for us. I had hoped the rooms would have been done before the hallways and main areas, as mattresses needed replacing and wall paper was peeling off in places. Suite layout was great. Only missing the pool and continental breakfast that is typical of Best Western. Restaurant onsite had poor reviews.

Three night stay. check in was uneventful. The refrigerator was unplugged so the food that was put in it it spoiled. didn't recognize that it was turned off until next afternoon. After much prompting breakfast was comped. Breakfast was not included in the room rental. Somewhat misleading advertising which said "cooked to order breakfast available". No pool in hotel but pool and hot tub available in Holiday inn express which is across a 100 meter parking lot. They have complementary breakfast but not available to BW guests. Realized the second night why frig was unplugged. It is very noisy when it kicks on. Assumed that previous guest turned it off or hotel turns it off to save power bill.

Room was good the bed was very hard and room was very noisy. The restaurant was good but our last day had problems and did open for breakfast. The bar was closed and food options we reduced

When i booked this hotel. it was going to provide break fast, but when I checked in there was no break fast. if I knew there would be no break fast, I would book another hotel.

Dining room was under construction. Limited free breakfast (breakfast burritos were not very good). Our room had a bit of a noisy AC.

Clean rooms , good sized room , nice furniture. Drawback is that restaurant is still not open same situation as when we were there in June 2023.
