The stay and property were great, but the waterslide was not operational and the pool area could be updated.

The room itself was great, with bunkbeds the kids could sleep in and a bed for the parents. The pool and pool area left A LOT to be desired and is in big need of a cleanup and glow-up. The pool area was dark and wasn't clean. The "gym" was filled with old air conditioners and boxes with no gym equipment at all.

Disappointing to say there is a pool when it’s clearly been closed for a long time and the “gym” was full of clutter.

Hotel good but no elevator

Wish the water slide was working….

Had to wait a long time, over an hour to get my cable connected. stayed here 3 weeks pryer and the pool was full of water but under repair and 3 weeks later its still the same way. They can at least post it on there web site but they havent. Thats false advertisment.

The pool and the hot tub was nice. We were hoping to us the water slide but it was out of order. :(

Good place to stay. Restaurant, bar, beer vendor all in one place. Pool wasn't open during my stay there.

Glad to have a restaurant on site. The service there was excellent. Disappointed there wasn't an elevator as we were placed on the second floor and my wife has difficulty with stairs.

Our room was updated. Pool closed due to lack of money for pool equipment. Closed due to inspection problems

Hotel and room had an odd odour, the carpet in the room was dirty and in poor condition and loose, mattresses were worn, hit & miss on hot water in shower and the paper thin shower curtain was barely long enough to stay in shower; had use multiple towels because so much water would leak out and they excercise area was closed and full of junk; which is one reason I picked this hotel.

Carpets were filthy, the place stunk. Very dated overall. The walls in the pool area are gross and need paint. Walls are paper thin and can hear anything anytime. I hear constant walking on the 2nd level that booms down to the main level. Not worth what they charge.

Desk staff were friendly and helpful. For some reason the cables were messed up for the television and it would not work. I was able to solve the issue, but when I pulled the cabinet away from the wall to fix it, I found old socks, lots of dust and scraps of paper. The desk table had a smear of jam or something on it. For the price I would expect better cleanliness. Good location, quiet, and comfortable otherwise.

I called at 6:30pm to tell them to let them know we'd be checking in late. Around 9pm, we arrived on site and were given a room with one bed and a sofa. We were supposed to get 2x queen beds, as there are four of us in the reservation. The lady at the front desk made us wait, while she texted management. Finally, she gave us keys to a room that was being held for guests yet to check in. It had 2x queen beds. Not sure why they didn't give us what we'd booked right from the start, but I was tired and didn't want to argue. Should have had the right room from the start. There were dead bugs on the bathroom floor and the hotel itself needs renovations badly. Carpets and walls are old, faded, and worn.

Bedbugs

Not clean, our dog found a chicken bone on the floor, and small pieces of plastic, pool and hot tub needs professional cleaning, we had to ask 3 times to get towels and a blanket. I would not recommend this motet

Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Building was old. Hallways were dirty and smelled

We walked in and a lady complained of bed bugs in her room. Even brought one in a cup to show the front desk. We didn't even check in but left. They refused to refund even though we just booked a hour before and didn't want to stay because of a chance that our room would have bed bugs.

Clean quiet room. Only problem were some ants on the floor and doors that need to be slammed to stop beeping. Saw no ants in the beds.

Moldy smelling AC that was duct taped in wall. Lots of security around. Not that 90 lb girls would be any help. Just no where a 7 rating as shown. More like a 4 or 5.

Fair price, older hotel exterior, interior halways and pool are really could use an update. My room wall unit Ac was non operational fortunalty they supplied a movable ac unit that worked to keep the room cool. Made getting into one bed a bit cumbersome.

Bed was not great. Had a backache in the morning. Like the Reno’s but they should have also gave the bathroom a refresh.

Property is not sound proof and starting to be run down . Waterslide is broken and the air conditioning unit in our room was not working properly. They brought in a portable unit but did not even vent it outside so it did not work. We bought an extension cord and ran it across the room from the original air conditioner and it worked just fine. Obviously the outlet it is plugged into has something wrong. Mattresses on the beds are worn out as well. Very uncomfortable.

Pleasant staff. Rooms were decent but obvious wear and age. Walls are made of tissue paper so you hear every footstep. I was surprised to see no tea bags offered in rooms but I asked at the desk and she found me Red Rose, which was alright. I spent two night, first night I froze 1/2 the night(after turning up thermostat), second night was better. All around, priced a bit high for a pipeliner quality hotel. Just my opinion.

Remote work when it wanted to, very noisy.

Rooms and Lobby look recently renovated. They look good but they used laminate flooring instead of carpet in the rooms which detracts from the coziness of the room. The room I was put in had a known issue with the automatic heat so they had placed a space heater designed for ceiling mount on the dresser. I was told i can use that if it got too cold. I told them that is very unsafe and asked for a different room. They first attempted to contact someone to come and fix the automatic heat but when they weren't available they moved me to a different room, which should gave been the first option, given it was 11:30pm. The second room had heat but the thermostat was an unmarked dial so I couldnt set it to a desired temperature, which resulted adjusting it in the middle of the night. Be aware that many rooms have both indoor and outdoor access, as this could be a convenience or a concern, depending on your preference.

The air conditioner didn’t work. Musty smell and the room was super hot. Some kind of substance on the table that looked like it was bubbling. Pool was broken and it didn’t say that anywhere.

The room was standard and for the most part, clean. Check in was quite pleasant because the employee who was working at that time was polite and friendly. There was a problem with the room, which in fairness to the hotel, I failed to mention upon arrival. There were ants (a fair amount) throughout the room. When i mentionned this upon checkout, the employee simply said "Yeah we were wondering when that would come up again, i'll let maintenance know right away". I felt dismissed which I didn't really appreciate. The room was a fair price however so I have mixed feelings about this stay.

Staff were very helpful at check in and for inquiring about other things. when called about the disturbance at 330 in the morning. Handled the situation appropriately and immediately.

I had a late evening arrival. The staff were very welcoming for a tired traveler.

Terrible experience checking in got billed for rooms twice when someone else paid for them

Having to deal with a miserable rude front desk person at checkin does not make a stay enjoyable. I will think twice about booking there again!

We arrived at the hotel at approximately 10pm. When we walked in, the front desk person was on a private phone call that they had on speakerphone. Unprofessional, but whatever. They then took a full 10 minutes to get us checked in including asking me questions about a form that I clearly filled out right in front of them. Suffice to say, when we got to the room, I was already annoyed. When we got to the room we quickly discovered that there was a door to the adjoining room through which we could hear EVERYTHING happening in the next room. Not the soft hint of things happening, we could hear every syllable said, every cough, every breath and without straining. I managed to sleep through it, my partner did not. Front desk couldn’t move us because they were ‘fully booked’ which… no, they just weren’t. The next morning at 9am, there was a loud knocking on the door, then another loud knocking on the door, then a THIRD loud knocking on the door before a housekeeper nearly walked in on me naked (fortunately the door chain was locked). This was at 9am on a Sunday. At approximately 9:30 am that morning, the drums started. Yes, you heard me: DRUMS. I thought I was going mad, but it turns out that the hotel rents a conference room to a church on Sunday mornings and the drummer started warming up (or playing for the first time in their life, it wasn’t clear) at NINE THIRTY AM. Where was the conference room you ask? Literally the next room in the hotel. Amazing.

This is my go to place to stay when visiting Brandon. Clean and quiet at an affordable rate. This visit was the first time I did the advanced check in (though I have done it at other wyndham properties). This seemed to mess things up for the staff. I was charged my rate plus $100 deposit twice and was marked as a no show (found this out when I checked out). They have refunded the extra charges and deposits and a 3rd transaction was made for just the rate itself. Not everyone might have 5 times what they expect to pay available on their credit card. All these extra charges were ridiculous and could really mess up someones plans. Next time I will not being doing the advance check in. But will definitely come back.

Did pre check in online, did everything for smooth check in and they made us re do entire booking from scratch. Terrible to do all the work before hand and they don’t honour anything we did

There were two people at the door to take our reservation. The room were spacious and clean. The evening was quiet and a restaurant was attached. Lovely spot near the large Brandon Shopping Center.

Good location and room was quiet. Staff were very helpful and accomodating.

My only complaint was ingress and egress from the place because there's massive construction going on on the road out front other than that it's fine it's a good affordable place to stay for the evening

The location was convenient, and there were no bad surprises.

Brandon's main drag is under construction but in a year or so should be better. The motel is on the main drag but they keep it secure even with all the traffic. The staff were great and worked to help in any way. It doesn't get any better than Travelodge by Wyndham. G Taylor

Parking was very good. There is a restaurant available in the adjoining building and gas station on next block. Two additional restaurants across the street.

Everything was good basically what we expected. Location was good for our dog. There is a sports complex with lots of lawn for him to run after sleeping all day on the drive!

You have to go outside to get to the lounge.

It was advertised with Breakfast included. When I ask what time breakfast was ....I was told not included and needed to pay for it. I based my decision to stay at this hotel....based on it including breakfast....really feel taken advantage of.... false advertising comes to mind!

Floors and baseboards ….dirty Help at front desk…good Help with the TV …good We thought there would be a hotel breakfast….not a restaurant…information showed a fork and knife icon…but did not make it clear that there is no breakfast room

Parking was very good. There is a restaurant available in the adjoining building and gas station on next block. Two additional restaurants across the street.

Cable signal didn’t work for tv and took 30+ minutes to get new room. chicken chef was convenient restaurant. No continental breakfast as is customary with majority of other accommodations.
