Nice little hotel if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. There are a few shops and restaurants within walking distance, but you probably want to count on driving. The room was small but comfortable. Staff was fairly friendly. The pool is nice but it gets shady pretty early in spring months. On the weekend, the noise from the beach below is pretty intense - people jam out under the bridge and the sound carries right up the hill. The outdoor kitchen is cool if you want to bbq or cook up some breakfast.

Schöne und ruhige Apparment / Hotel Anlage am Hang, wundervoller Ausblick vom Balkon oder Terasse auf das Meer. Die Anlage & Zimmer sind sauber und gepflegt und nicht super modern, aber das ist völlig in Ordnung, es gibt Kühlschrank, Kaffeemaschine mit Kaffee und Mikrowelle, und es gibt genügend Parkplätze, die neu gemacht wurden und mit Netzen überspannt sind. Das WLAN und Smart TV mit Netflix funktionierte gut! Jeder Gast hat sein eigenes Zimmer in der Anlage, im EG gibt es einen Pool, Fitnessgeräte, eine große Küche die allerdings leider nicht als Gemeinschaftsküche genutzt werden kann, alle Schränke sind abgeschlossen. Auch das Rauchen ist in der gesamten Anlage nicht erlaubt. Die Wände und Böden sind etwas hellhörig, aber Nachts ist es soweit ruhig. Frühstück war inclusive, gibt es nur von 08:30-09:30. Supermärkte klein & groß sind alle 5-10 Autominuten entfernt. Der Strand ist in 3 -5 Auto Fahrminuten zu erreichen. Preis/Leistung ist hier etwas erhöht beim Thema Preis im direkten Vergleich mit vielen Unterkünften im Umkreis von San Jose del Gabo & Gabo San Lucas, was wahrscheinlich aber an der Lage und der Hotel Area liegt. Ein Tipp: wir würden neue Kopfkissen im Zimmer empfehlen. Ansonsten alles top mit einer mega tollen Aussicht auf das Meer!! Wir würden es gerne weiterempfehlen!!

Very nice property. It was clean and quiet. The thing to be aware of is that there is no elevator for this three story hotel. We had a third floor suite booked, but when we saw the amount of stairs to climb up with our luggage, we switched to a second floor suite. The bed was not as comfortable as we would have liked, but the suite we were in was roomy and very clean.

This was my first trip to Los Cabos and I was nervous because I did not know anyone there. I didn't know how safe it was either. So I searched expedia for reviews and pictures within my budget, and found this little gem. It was clean, safe and quiet. There is a keypad entry/exit, and some of the villas have the extra locked gate. The staff was very attentive and nice and always made me feel welcomed. The views were incredible from any room. The sparkling pool is on the rooftop and there are hammocks around the pool area as well. They offer free continental breakfast that included items like fresh fruit, cereal, coffee etc. Private Chef Luis is also available to cook a hot and DELICIOUS breakfast for a great price. The kitchen is a shared space where you can cook your own meals. There is a small corner store down the hill and the rooms have mini fridges and microwaves. There is access to the beach by going down the ramp, next to the main road, about an 8 min walk, the hills are paved but steep. Ubers are available and pretty cheap. The beach is great for surfing and some areas are suitable for swimming. Thank you MariaMar Suites for making my stay so great!

Giant balcony with the most incredible sunrise view over the ocean. The room was spacious and clean overlooking pretty courtyard and with an ocean view. The pool was a glorious spot to cool off and was rarely busy. We appreciated the delicious fresh fruit & toast breakfast; it got us started for the day. Isaac the property manager welcomed us and gave us all the information we needed. He was there at all times to answer any questions. There is a 10-minute walk down the hill to walk to Soqui's restaurant where we went to twice for dinner. The walk back up the hill in the dark was very peaceful and quiet, we felt totally safe. We took an Uber to La Comer to stock up on groceries and used the outdoor kitchen at Mariamar to cook dinner. Beautiful cooking outside! We would absolutely stay here again! Thank you Isaac!

Bellissima struttura con Bellissima vista sull' oceano. Camera ampia e pulita. Letti comodi. Molto belli gli spazi esterni e la piscina. Colazione semplice e buona. Parcheggio della truttura comodo. Isac ci ha accolto e ha dato molte informazioni utili. Molto disponibile.

This was our first time staying more than walking distance to the artdistrict. We believe we discovered a great gem of a hotel. We stayed 5 nights. The view was amazing. The pool area is very inviting. We liked that there is the access to a outdoor kitchen if you wanted to prepare your own meals. Our master suite was a very good size and the patìo included was also a great size. We felt the bathroom had a strange layout and blankets could be updated. The whole place was kept very clean and the staff and owners were very helpful and friendly. We could walk to the beach although the walk back is uphill, all the way, its doable. We could definitely see ourselves staying there again.

This property was perfect for our one nite stay. It had everything we needed and we enjoyed a nice breakfast in the am. It was quiet and clean away from the beach but only a short walk down to the beach. The pool and garden area was relaxing. Good wifi. Felt safe and secure as there is a code to enter the property. Lovely view.

Habitaciones espaciosas, limpias y sobre todo agua muy caliente para bañarte 😍con refrigerador microondas cafetera televisión con Netflix Amazon Prime Amazon Music etc , muy buena comunicación con sus encargados, una vista hermosa y como a 5 min caminado a Playa Costa Azul una playa que súper vale la pena visitar . Muy recomendado !

The hotel was beautiful driving up and had a great view of the ocean. Nice pool and lounging area. We stayed for 3 nights. Do to the environmental issue with plumbing, they ask you to not flush toilet paper. Which was no issue at all, we respect the way they do things. But we had no maid service the whole time, not even to just collect the garbage. There was dog poo on the grounds and no one seemed to pick up after their pets. The bed was so soft it was hard to sleep on. Although it says they had wifi, it would not work from the room or the pool deck. I had to stand on the tiny balcony to get any service

Schöne und ruhige Apparment / Hotel Anlage am Hang, wundervoller Ausblick vom Balkon oder Terasse auf das Meer. Die Anlage & Zimmer sind sauber und gepflegt und nicht super modern, aber das ist völlig in Ordnung, es gibt Kühlschrank, Kaffeemaschine mit Kaffee und Mikrowelle, und es gibt genügend Parkplätze, die neu gemacht wurden und mit Netzen überspannt sind. Das WLAN und Smart TV mit Netflix funktionierte gut! Jeder Gast hat sein eigenes Zimmer in der Anlage, im EG gibt es einen Pool, Fitnessgeräte, eine große Küche die allerdings leider nicht als Gemeinschaftsküche genutzt werden kann, alle Schränke sind abgeschlossen. Auch das Rauchen ist in der gesamten Anlage nicht erlaubt. Die Wände und Böden sind etwas hellhörig, aber Nachts ist es soweit ruhig. Frühstück war inclusive, gibt es nur von 08:30-09:30. Supermärkte klein & groß sind alle 5-10 Autominuten entfernt. Der Strand ist in 3 -5 Auto Fahrminuten zu erreichen. Very nice property. It was clean and quiet. The thing to be aware of is that there is no elevator for this three story hotel. We had a third floor suite booked, but when we saw the amount of stairs to climb up with our luggage, we switched to a second floor suite. The bed was not as comfortable as we would have liked, but the suite we were in was roomy and very clean.

We only stayed here for a night but it was in a great spot across the highway from the beach. (though a big hill to climb). The views from the room were spectacular though the rooms were pretty dated and suite was an awkward layout. Eduardo at the front desk was a lovely and helpful fellow.

Giant balcony with the most incredible sunrise view over the ocean. The room was spacious and clean overlooking pretty courtyard and with an ocean view. The pool was a glorious spot to cool off and was rarely busy. We appreciated the delicious fresh fruit & toast breakfast; it got us started for the day. Isaac the property manager welcomed us and gave us all the information we needed. He was there at all times to answer any questions. There is a 10-minute walk down the hill to walk to Soqui's restaurant where we went to twice for dinner. The walk back up the hill in the dark was very peaceful and quiet, we felt totally safe. We took an Uber to La Comer to stock up on groceries and used the outdoor kitchen at Mariamar to cook dinner. Beautiful cooking outside! We would absolutely stay here again! Thank you Isaac!

La persona que nos recibió y despidió, no fue grosera, pero tampoco fue amble. Le solicité que me diera permiso de hacer el checkout a las 12:00 (para terminar un curso en línea), tal como venía especificado en el correo que me envió Expedia, pero el señor, sin cortesía, me dijo que no era posible, a pesar de que no tenían huéspedes hasta ese momento. We had stayed here about 2 weeks earlier for 4 nights. We needed a place to stay before a flight so decided to go back as it had been a good experience. Expedia charged us then the hotel charged us and blamed it on Expedia. It ended up costing $35 more per night than 2 weeks earlier. Very rude man at the desk when we checked in. He told my husband to quiet me down when I asked why the exact same room cost so much more.

This was our first time staying more than walking distance to the artdistrict. We believe we discovered a great gem of a hotel. We stayed 5 nights. The view was amazing. The pool area is very inviting. We liked that there is the access to a outdoor kitchen if you wanted to prepare your own meals. Our master suite was a very good size and the patìo included was also a great size. We felt the bathroom had a strange layout and blankets could be updated. The whole place was kept very clean and the staff and owners were very helpful and friendly. We could walk to the beach although the walk back is uphill, all the way, its doable. We could definitely see ourselves staying there again.

The view is gorgeous. It is quiet and secluded. It is on a steep incline the mattress is hard. Breakfast (coffee, bread and fruit) is included. Even if you paid online ahead, they will charge your card again there. They say the first charge by Expedia was only their commission not for the stay. I have still to find out it I was scammed.

As the title mentions, this hotel is a great way to stay in the area without paying resort prices. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The only thing that was challenging was that the road to the hotel was up a large, steep hill, but it was only about $5 to catch an Uber to anywhere in town. The steep hill means that the view from the hotel is pretty awesome too.

This property was perfect for our one nite stay. It had everything we needed and we enjoyed a nice breakfast in the am. It was quiet and clean away from the beach but only a short walk down to the beach. The pool and garden area was relaxing. Good wifi. Felt safe and secure as there is a code to enter the property. Lovely view.

The owners were delightful and very caring. Willing to help solve any little issues. They hire a chef for breakfast and supper by request. We made full use of him as he was excellent. The property is high up on a hill, so the ocean views are magnificent and our individual patio had bougainvillea and potted plants which added an exquisite touch. We did not have transportation and walked up and down the big hill, but at the bottom there is a dangerous main road which is a bit of a problem for getting around on foot. However, we could safely get to the beach, and went to the grocery store once by scrambling up a hill to avoid an area that had no sidewalk. Fortunately, Uber came in very handy for much of the time.

This was my first trip to Los Cabos and I was nervous because I did not know anyone there. I didn't know how safe it was either. So I searched expedia for reviews and pictures within my budget, and found this little gem. It was clean, safe and quiet. There is a keypad entry/exit, and some of the villas have the extra locked gate. The staff was very attentive and nice and always made me feel welcomed. The views were incredible from any room. The sparkling pool is on the rooftop and there are hammocks around the pool area as well. They offer free continental breakfast that included items like fresh fruit, cereal, coffee etc. Private Chef Luis is also available to cook a hot and DELICIOUS breakfast for a great price. The kitchen is a shared space where you can cook your own meals. There is a small corner store down the hill and the rooms have mini fridges and microwaves. There is access to the beach by going down the ramp, next to the main road, about an 8 min walk, the hills are paved but steep. Ubers are available and pretty cheap. The beach is great for surfing and some areas are suitable for swimming. Thank you MariaMar Suites for making my stay so great!

Si lo que buscas es tranquilidad, privacidad y una vista increíble, este pequeño lugar de hospedaje es para ti. Los chicos que atienden son súper aliviánanos y están constantemente en atención, las habitaciones tienen justo lo necesario para pasar varios días en el lugar y la cama es cómoda y amplia; también, cuenta con cocina comunal y en esta ocasión nos toco que un chef acudía a realizar desayunos deliciosos a un precio extremadamente accesible. Recomiendo totalmente despertarte temprano para ver el amanecer, el hotel tiene una vista increíble al mar. :) Esta completamente en nuestros planes volver! Gracias! :)

Continental breakfast 8:30 AM start: fruit, toast, and coffee and cereal. Towels are a velvet feel so bring a towel if that’s going to be an issue. Other than that, I enjoyed my suite and my very picky wife loves it enough to come back after a four day trip to La Paz. Music from locals playing loud speakers under the bridge about a half a mile away can be a little annoying. The walk to the beach comes with an inclined hill going down and of course, coming up will be considered exercise for people with good physical condition. Otherwise you will need to drive your rental car to the beach and there’s plenty of parking available in the area by the bridge, which is easy to get to. There is currently road construction that delays you a good 2025 minutes to get back to the hotel. I anticipate it won’t be completed until September 2026, that’s my guess.
