This hotel is uphill from the station, but manageable even with a suitcase. It is a few steps from a fabulous bakery and cafe and 20 metres to the Monastery. There are also a few restaurants close by. Perfect location. Rooms are small but good enough. The "air conditioning" is heating not cooling! There is a luggage storage room if you get here earlier than check in time. Staff are very obliging.

Die Lage ist toll gleich beim Kloster, das Haus in gutem Zustand. Der Service freundlich, Zimmer eher klein. Auch der kleine Spa ist gut unterhalten. Das Essen im gleichnamigen Restaurant ist sehr gut, auch dort der Service sehr freundlich.

Hotel is very basic, it would be great if it can supply a kettle so we can make tea or coffee of our own. Buying coffee is expensive and it's all machine made not authentic coffee. Parking in Switzerland is a big problem, basically every where you park will have to pay and hotel does not supply parking.

5 dagar som var alldeles underbara. Hotellets personal var mycket trevliga och tillmötesgående, vi fick checka in en timma tidigare. Rummet var välstädat och fräscht. Frukosten var utmärkt med idel lokalproducerad mat. Bröd från bageriet mitt emot, mjölk, ost och yoghurt från det lokala mejeriet. Toppklass!

Grest price great breakfast. However a few things missing from the room 1. Luggage rack to place your suitcase on to unload clothes, etc. Without it, we had to put our suitcase on the floor which is inconvenient. 2. Shower bar. The shower was nice but slippery. There is no 'grab bar' to hold on to when entering or exiting the tub/shower. This is not safe! 3. Windows should be triple paned on the street side to block out sound. We could hear EVERYTHING from the street and church. Very noisy. 4. We needed to supply our own toiletries. The only bath soaps were hand soap and shower gel (i.e. no shampoo, body lotion, etc). 5. There are no small night lights so when you get up at night, you have to turn on the main lights. 6. It would be nice to have bottled water in the room. 7. Lastly, please check the toilet seal/wax ring for leaks. We definitely smelled drain fumes in the bathroom.

Grest price great breakfast. However a few things missing from the room 1. Luggage rack to place your suitcase on to unload clothes, etc. Without it, we had to put our suitcase on the floor which is inconvenient. 2. Shower bar. The shower was nice but slippery. There is no 'grab bar' to hold on to when entering or exiting the tub/shower. This is not safe! 3. Windows should be triple paned on the street side to block out sound. We could hear EVERYTHING from the street and church. Very noisy. 4. We needed to supply our own toiletries. The only bath soaps were hand soap and shower gel (i.e. no shampoo, body lotion, etc). 5. There are no small night lights so when you get up at night, you have to turn on the main lights. 6. It would be nice to have bottled water in the room. 7. 5 dagar som var alldeles underbara. Hotellets personal var mycket trevliga och tillmötesgående, vi fick checka in en timma tidigare. Rummet var välstädat och fräscht. Frukosten var utmärkt med idel lokalproducerad mat. Bröd från bageriet mitt emot, mjölk, ost och yoghurt från det lokala mejeriet. Toppklass!

Wir haben unsere eine Nacht in diesem Hotel sehr genossen. Das Zimmer war sauber und praktisch eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbuffet lässt fast keine Wünsche offen und ist auch für Langschläfer geeignet, da man (zumindest sonntags) bis 11:30h schlemmen kann.

Wir hatten ein schönes Langlaufwochenende. Alles hat sehr gut funktioniert. Die Tiefgarage war günstig, 12 Fr. für 2 Tage. Das Frühstück mit regionalen Produkten hat uns sehr gefreut. Das Zimmer und vor allem das Bett war etwas klein. Allerdings gerne wieder.

Die Lage ist toll gleich beim Kloster, das Haus in gutem Zustand. Der Service freundlich, Zimmer eher klein. Auch der kleine Spa ist gut unterhalten. Das Essen im gleichnamigen Restaurant ist sehr gut, auch dort der Service sehr freundlich.

Stayed for 4 nights. Very clean. Serves a very nice breakfast with more than enough choices and local dairy produce. 7 min. walk to the train station. Central location in between Chur and Zurich but less expensive than Wadenswil.
