This hostel was amazing! One of the best I have stayed id. The new room key opens all doors: locker in room, bathroom, bedroom, entrance- all in one- loved it! The location is perfect. Staff is super friendly. Beds and bathroom are super clean and comfy.

I stayed at this hostel in Geneva for two nights, and overall, it was a positive experience. The room was clean, and the price included a simple but good buffet breakfast, as well as a free public transport pass that you can start using from the moment you arrive at the airport until the end of your stay—definitely a nice perk. The location is excellent—very close to the main train station and the FlixBus stop, which was super convenient for me. The hostel also offers plenty of common areas where you can study, relax, or hang out before heading out or winding down at night. One thing to note: towels are not included in the price. You can rent one for 13 CHF (Swiss Francs)—10 CHF is a refundable deposit and 3 CHF is the rental fee. If you’ve forgotten anything, like toothpaste or earplugs, you can purchase it at the hostel, which is helpful. That said, there were a couple of downsides. The hostel doesn’t seem to enforce a quiet time, and during my stay, a school group was making noise on my floor around midnight and even again at 3 AM. I believe it would really help if a quiet time policy—say from 9 PM to 6 or 7 AM—were implemented and clearly communicated during check-in and when booking online. Also, the Wi-Fi was a bit too slow for my needs. Despite these issues, I had a good stay and would still consider returning if I ever visit Geneva again.

Park Möglichkeit ist die blaue Zone. Sonst es gibt nur 4-5 Parkplatz. Oder man kann 15/Tag im Parkhaus parkieren. Gute Bewertung wegen der gratis Transport Tageskarte. 1 Nacht übernachten mit 2 Tage Tageskarte, es ist unglaublich. Sehr gute Leistung,darum sehr empfehlen für kurz visit in der Stadt.

The location and overall condition were good but they could use more showers and bathrooms. Additionally, the breakfast is somewhat limited but is adequate. I was going to have dinner there one night but there were literally about 100 teenagers for an event and the chaperones had them start lining up for dinner at the same time as I was entering so I took a pass.

My friend and I had a lovely 2-night stay at Geneva Hostel. The rooms were clean, the toilets and showers were clean and had great privacy. I felt extremely comfortable staying here. The rooms were small but with the external lockers and bathroom we didn’t need any more space. Also it was 3 CHF (per person) to rent a locker for your luggage after you’ve checked out, which is a very fair price. The only note I have is the staff can be rigid at times and aren’t clear on expectations. It seemed a lot of people staying at the hostel were unclear that dirty sheets needed to be brought downstairs when checking out. Additionally, I was told you could change out your rented towel as many times as you’d like so I wanted to get a fresh towel for my second night and was sternly told this was not the case. The man gave me a new towel anyways but it was an uncomfortable interaction.

I wanted to like the hostel, but it just got worse and worse until I had to leave early. It caters to school groups, which can mean long lines at breakfast and a lot of yelling and banging on doors because some of the students are very young. I also suspect the hostel sells any available beds each night at a discount to migrants and homeless people. But this is very late, so I had random people coming into the room at 2 and 4 am, turning the lights on and banging around. This happened three nights in a row, so I didn't sleep for three nights. Oh and on the last night before I left with the remnants of my sanity, I was bitten by bed bugs.

Likte meg veldig godt på dette hostellet, jeg lå i «den gamle delen» med nydelige store vinduer, god takhøyde og komfortable køyesenger. Men gulvet knirket utrolig mye. Flott at frokost var inkludert og veldig bra service fra personalet. Anbefales!

Stayed here solo for 2 nights whilst travelling Switzerland. It’s a 5 minute walk to the lake but maybe 20 to the more central part. Location was fab 5 minute walk to bus stop. Kitchen/toilets were great & clean. Bedrooms were outdated but for the price especially including breakfast can’t complain.

Chambre très bruyante à 6 manque d'oxygène élévation du gaz carbonique par les 6 occupants qui empêche de dormir , superficie de la chambre trop restreinte, des ronfleurs abominables, pas fermé l'œil de la nuit . Un individu faisait sa prière sur un tapis dans la chambre. Ceci est inacceptable vis à vis des autres occupants! Seul le petit déjeuner et le hall d'accueil était bien PLUS JAMAIS JE NE VIENDRAIS DANS CETTE ETABLISSEMENT SORDIDE!

All great! My only complaint was the noise and the fact that my bed was right next to the door, literally, my pillow was on the wall adjacent to the door. So that was annoying. Other than that, the facilities are great and the location is very convenient.

A place to avoid. The only good thing was the locker really. Could only sleep 1h because 1 guy was visibly sick and snoring loudly all night, and another was making so much noise during the night that he prevented the rest of us to sleep, in a 6-bed dorm. Also the light in the bathroom goes out while you’re in the WC and doesn’t come back until someone enters the bathroom.Terrible experience, never had that at another hostel.

This was a wonderful place to stay if you are a solo traveler! It has clean rooms, a big free breakfast, and many of the best places in Geneva are within walking distance. The front desk staff are also friendly and very helpful!

Excellent hostel. Clean, friendly, secure. Easy check in. Only a couple streets away from some good food spots. Enjoyed my time here as a solo female traveler! Good breakfast as well.

Very nice lady in the reception, great breakfast, however, when I am try to leave my luggage until 12pm, they have to charge me for 6chf (and my check out time is 11am), just for 1hour. Because normally the reception will allowed guest to be leave their baggage free for a period of time, but not for this hostel

I stayed at this hostel in Geneva for two nights, and overall, it was a positive experience. The room was clean, and the price included a simple but good buffet breakfast, as well as a free public transport pass that you can start using from the moment you arrive at the airport until the end of your stay—definitely a nice perk. The location is excellent—very close to the main train station and the FlixBus stop, which was super convenient for me. I found the Geneva Hostel to be excellent value for money. We are a family of 4, couple with two kids and stayed in a quadruple room with two bunk beds with a shared bathroom. I realised later that I could have booked a quadruple room with one bunkbed for the kids and two single beds with a private bathroom for not a lot more. The location is great, 10 minutes walk to the main station. The hotel is modern, clean and the breakfast is surprisingly good to be included in the price. The breakfast included mini croissants and mini pain of chocolat which was a nice touch on the top of the usual, toast with jam, cereals with milk and fruit.

Stayed here solo for 2 nights whilst travelling Switzerland. It’s a 5 minute walk to the lake but maybe 20 to the more central part. Location was fab 5 minute walk to bus stop. Kitchen/toilets were great & clean. Bedrooms were outdated but for the price especially including breakfast can’t complain.

Hostel Geneve er godt placeret for at nå Genevesøen og mange muligheder for at komme hurtigt videre med bus og sporvogne. 14 dage på hostel er virkelig lang tid, og så bliver man træt af det. The location and overall condition were good but they could use more showers and bathrooms. Additionally, the breakfast is somewhat limited but is adequate. I was going to have dinner there one night but there were literally about 100 teenagers for an event and the chaperones had them start lining up for dinner at the same time as I was entering so I took a pass.
