Club St. George

The house was really nice, even with a private pool. The main pool was really convenient for children. However some facilities are not very well maintained, maybe because it was not high season. However the price was very good for what we got.

So lovely room and bathroom. Very clean and tidy. Felt the pool needed a good scrub but overall clean enough. Might be an idea to put tea and coffee in the rooms as they have a kettle and cups. Would stay again

Séjour plus que désagréable. Nous avons cohabité avec des cafards pendant tous le séjour plus nous en tuons plus il en venez. Une horreur. La personne qui ce charge de l’accueil devrait changer de métier. Pas un bonjour, à peine un regard. La literie et l’ensemble de l’appartement sont totalement d’une autre époque, le lit est d’un inconfort exceptionnel. La résidence sert aussi de logement durable pour les chypriotes mais pas les meilleurs, très bruyant. La piscine n’est pas chauffé. La piscine intérieur n’existe pas. Tout autour de la résidence il y’a beaucoup de déchet. La pression de l’eau dans la douche et inexistante et pas d’eau chaude. Les draps sont tachés et le ménage n’est pas fait quotidiennement. Et lorsque il est fait, les femmes de ménage on plus salie, qu’elle non nettoyé. ( voir photo ) Bref le séjour n’est pas chère, on comprend pourquoi.

Personeel was altijd goed aardig en behulpzaam... was niet veel te doen bij het resort dan aan het bar drankje doen en liggen bij het zwembad... appartement was niet echt schoon en geen openbaar vervoer in de buurt

Got to the hotel and given a room at first I genuinely thought I had been given a room at a 1970s russian camp. The guy at the desk was asleep and didn't speak a lick of English. We didn't get told about the sauna or the jacuaazi which is still not working or built not sure which After our 7 days visit in truth is was pretty decent. The staff was always on hand to open the shop even at 4am. Very friendly and polite. It was not to busy. I have to be honest the biggest thing to be of help was the taxi driver Alexander always available to help and to pick u up just a call away. I don't understand why the hotel gets such bad reviews the staff and people were friendly, the food was brilliant, enjoy it for what it is and u will honestly love it. The cleaners were super friendly and lots of cats about :) Also if u go and use Alexandra don't forget to ask about his cute white dog :)

We want there for 8 days. We loved the room. It met our expectations.we got our towels changed every two days which is strange for three star hotels. 😀 The view from our terrace was anazingggggg. The rooms were very clean. The swimming pool near the hotel? Perfect. The staff there was very helpful and friendly. We will miss them, and the hotel too 👍

Don't trust the pictures! When we booked the hotelscom page stated free airport transfer, but before arrival the page changed and it was not free anymore. On the phone the receptionist was rude to us: shouted that there is no free airport transfer and then he put down the phone. At arrival the receptionist could not find our booking. He also did not pay attention to us during checkin as he continously watched a football match on his mobile. The room they gave us were not clean. The bed is really uncomfortable. We asked next day for cleaning and to provide us with towels (which we did not have at checkin). However they did not clean, only they provided towels. I must say that the official hotel inages are very deceptive! It is easy to shoot reasonable looking photos from a distance, where you don't see how dirty the property is. Shame, because with good management and care this could be a nice place to stay.

It is not clean

i highly do not recommend. besides the view, everything disrty and degraded. Brakfast is a bad joke.

Très déçu de ce logement, la propreté laisse à désiré (poubelle non vidée lors de notre arrivée, plaque de cuisson non nettoyé, piscine sale également) sans parlé du matelas en ressort dans lequel nous avons très très mal dormi ..

Wir waren angenehm überrascht , es war sehr sauber , in der Woche wo wir da waren , war das Zimmermädchen dreimal dort und immer freundlich . Es ist etwas abgelegen , daher braucht man definitiv ein Auto . Aber es ist sehr schön und das Appartment war sehr gut ausgestattet . Gerne jederzeit wieder

We only stayed for a night, but it did the job nicely. Pleasantly surprised with the room size and reasonable conditions. Mattresses aren't the most comfy and we struggled to get reliable hot water, so it was mostly cold showers. Also the location isn't what you'd call convenient and you wouldn't want to be there without a car.

Apartment was large and very clean but did not have one basin, sink or bath plug. Mugs, tea spoons bowls and cooking utensils very limited or missing altogether. TV had one channel, BBC News but wifi was excellent.

We stayed here for 9 nights in one of their 3 bed villas. The villa was very nice, beds were comfortable, air con was great. Pool and outside space was fantastic!! The only negatives are just the overall finishes of the property, poor paint job throughout, poor tiling job around plumbing etc…. The little things. For the cost of the stay I thought it was great, if you want 5* finishes you pay the 5* prices. General area is a little far away from everything too, there’s nothing within walking distance. A car is 100% required! I would definitely return here in the future!

Le point positif de cet hôtel : la piscine. Pour le reste, le confort laisse clairement à désirer. On sent les ressorts dans notre dos sur le matelas, rideau de douche est moisi. C’est un appart hôtel ou l’on ne peut même pas y faire des pâtes puisqu’il n’y a presque aucun équipement. Produit vaisselle sans éponge, pas de torchon ni de gant pour sortir quelque chose du four. L’hôtel n’est pas cher certes, mais rien que pour le confort du lit si j’avais su j’aurai pris un hôtel plus cher.

Eher eine Wohnanlage als ein Hotel, etwas außerhalb, man braucht ein Auto. Das Zimmer war zweckmäßig eingerichtet, Klimaanlage und Betten sind gut, die Ausstattung der Küche ist dürftig. Es gibt ausreichend Parkplätze und die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sind hilfsbereit.

We stayed here a few years ago. It's gone down since then. Cleanliness was okay although the junk under the sofa suggests otherwise. The mattress was tired and thin. The kitchen equipment was minimal to say the least. Fire extinguisher last service date was 2018 and the gauge showed empty. The fire blanket holder was empty too. In a cold March the A/C, heating worked well enough and there was plenty of hot water.

It's a good property and very affordable, however the communication is very difficult. Hotels.com has only the reception number which doesn't offer any help with reservations. I had a booking with payment on arrival for 2 Villas Three bedrooms each. I was a bit worried because I booked the villas for my wedding in Paphos, so I called one week before my arrival just to rest my mind that everything is ready for our check-in, only to be told that no villas are available for us and that they will be providing us an alternative which is in a different hotel 40mins away. Just imagine what would happen if I haven't called and discovered that on my arrival! They ended up giving me three small villas for the same price but it's still too much to worry about if you're booking at St Grgs, please double check your booking or pay in advance.

Firstly, we had booked and paid for 2 serviced apartments at Club St George Resort in Emba, Paphos and when we arrived at their reception after a late night flight, we were told that large sections of Club St George Resort were still under maintenance and we were “upgraded” to 2 rooms at their “sister resort” Panareti Coral Bay 10.8 km away. When we arrived at Panareti after some searching to find the correct entrance, checked in and saw the rooms, we saw that we were duped and that this was clearly not an Upgrade, but in fact a severe Downgrade. Panareti “Resort” is VERY tired and dilapidated and desperately needs a cash injection of a couple of million for a total renovation from the ground up. Panareti cannot possibly still qualify for 4 stars - maybe it did 30 years ago when it was slightly newer ? Several months after other guests’ reviews we found the exact same unprotected red electrical wiring still hanging out of junction boxes in several places in the passage leading to the rooms. Also we experienced day and night the exact same issue as others with the sound of water and sewerage from the toilets above flowing through the pipes in the void of our room’s ceiling - unacceptable! Food was adequate but nothing exceptional with more-or-less the same selection each morning at the breakfast buffet. Although it is just over a 1 block walk past some villas under construction to the ocean, the shore is rocky here, and the closest sandy beach is about 15 minutes walk

Apartment was clean and serviceable, staff friendly and available when needed. Basic but just what I needed.

The apartnent was clean, and large for a family not as a solo traveller. The complex was residential local familys lived there and in the morning noice and children crying disturbed me.The apartment had 3pin sockets and 2 pin plug appliances so could use the kettle or television.The dustance to the beaches is 9km and without a car too far to walk,the mix up is the hotel with similar name on the beach. The reception no-one was there at first, The shop inadequate with no food really.again no-one serving.I had already packed and booked another hotel so i ordered a taxi with the reception guy ,when the taxi turned up it was his friend with a small dog in the fount seat so i obliged anxious to get to the other hoel and acceped it turned out ok and i was relieved to arrive at the Avlida i had rebooked.

💯 need a car to stay here but overall for the money was good had a 2 bed villa private pool private parking for a lot less then a hotel if you want some privacy book here 👌

A wonderful stay, beautiful views and very peaceful. Only thing is limited transportation other than taxi but if driving a worthwhile stay

Property is not at the standard it should be. Far away from the city. If you don’t have a car it’s very difficult to go and also if you get a puplic transport you have to walk 1km up hill. You need taxi which is very expensive.

The cleanliness of the studio was acceptable. The internet connection was excellent. The staff was friendly. But the complex is remote and there is no convenient public transportation.

Pratique et pas cher mais assez éloigné de la ville, les alentours sont sales et délaissés, pas de transport en commun.

The apartment was fine for a day, the resort is nowhere near the sea, also there are very few staff (we only saw the barman, who was very helpful). The general air if the resort is a bit neglected needs proper management really.

Due to some water leakage issue we were asked to check in at a different hotel, this was not communicated to us in advance. The hotel they offered had ants at most of the places in the room and smelt smoke, the receptionist was kind to offer a better room for us. Although a better room the condition of the bed was horrible, every move made noise. Breakfast was bad, baked beans wasn't cooked enough, no true coffee.
