Overall its a decent hotel, but 250 a night, and they advertise a hotel bar but its literally 2 seats at the end of the checkin desk. The front desk people arent interested in selling drinks

Clean and well maintained hotel near to the main tourist district of Munich. Staff were helpful and the hotel benefits from being close to many public transport and dining options. It is worth noting the tram runs right past the hotel, running periodically all night and there are no tea\coffee making facilities. However the interconnecting rooms we shared with our teenage children had a small ajoining sitting area, the beds were comfortable and the rooms and hotel were very clean.

Great hotel near the central train station. Our room was very modern and clean. The neighborhood is good; outside the touristy area. Access to public transportation via the train station and street bus makes it easy to get around. There aren’t a lot of amenities with the hotel but great place to stay.

Terrific clean and affordable hotel only 200m from the Central Train Station and an easy 20minute stroll to the Marienplatz and main shopping area. There are plenty of dining options close by and a great Laundurette just across the road. WiFi was excellent and the only negative was I couldn't get any satellite reception for the few English language TV channels.

悪くないですが、最低限の清掃という感じ。コーヒーや紅茶は置かれてません。電気ポットとカップは言えば貸してもらえました。トラムが近くを走っているので音が聞こえますが、たいして問題ではありません。中央駅から近いので便利です。

The cleanliness of the room was not really acceptable. Stained duvet, bedsheets and carpets. Shower smelt really bad. Difficult to get sleep due to the tram running past until very late and early morning. Not a lot the hotel can do about that. Location is closed to the train station which is good and there are a few food outlets and bakeries near be which is a plus. Overall though the room cleanliness means I cannot recommend this hotel.

Das gebuchte Zimmer barrierefrei war insgesamt zu eng, mit dem Rollstuhl konnte man nicht zur Toilette rein fahren, da das Eck des Bettes störte, in allen Ecken StaubAn der Decke Spinnweben , Haare am Badboden. The room was spacious and clean. There were earlier comments that the place was quiet, which is why I booked a room. However, there is a rather noisy/screeching tram going right below the window every 10 minutes or so - maybe it depends on where the room is located, mine was on the 2nd floor, facing the street... The bed was also very soft which was a tad uncomfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The Hotel was excellent. The only negative thing, was that we had a room facing the street. There were trams passing outside and they were really noisy. Every 10 minutes at daytime and 30 minutes at night. If you are a light sleeper, request a room not facing the street.

The hotel was fairly priced and centrally located (about a 5 minute walk to the central train station. Staff was friendly and check-in was easy. My daughter and I are light sleepers and we hardly slept due to the tram noise. They came very frequently even throughout the night and the room would shake each time they did. We had a white noise machine but it didn’t help.

Decent hotel. They try hard and rooms are classy. However, BIG PROBLEM is the loud, low frequency rumbling noise from trams running constantly, 18 hours a day over track switches in front of hotel. Every 30 seconds at 6 am--just intetmittent enough to jolt you awake from dozing off. Sleep is significantly impacted. Windows open or closed made no difference. PS. I am legally deaf. Profoundly deaf folks should have no problem.

ich war in der Zeit von Samstag, 01.11.2025 bis Montag, 03.11.2025 Gast im Hotel Augusten. Während meines Aufenthalts wurde leider mein Parfüm „Dior Sauvage“ aus dem Zimmer (104) entwendet. Ich habe den Verlust unmittelbar am Sonntag, den 04.11 an der Rezeption gemeldet und am Montag bei der Abreise erneut. Mein Zimmerpartner kann dies zudem bestätigen. Das Hotel Augusten stellt sich leider unwissend und hat lediglich beim Reinigungspersonal gefragt. Ein ärgerliches Ende eines schönen Trips in München. Das Parfüm kostet nämlich nicht nur 10€…

The employees were rudest and most unpleasant I have ever encountered in a hotel anywhere. I was yelled at upon arrival and threatened by someone I assumed was from off the street trying to get a tip. The hotel did nothing to intervene. The room was fine but I did not feel safe after that.

I booked a 3 night stay, but left after one night. The room i got was facing the street, there is a lot of traffic and a tram line going every few minutes, also at night. The problem was, that the balcony door in my room, didn't close tightly shut, it needed to be adjusted, so I could hear everything from the street. I went to the reception in the evening and asked, if I could get another room, maybe the following day, but she said everything was booked, but I could ask the next day. The next morning, after very litlle sleep, I went to the reception again and explained my problem. The guy didn't seem that interested in helping, he just looked at the screen and said everything was booked. I asked if they could maybe fix the door then, but that was not an option. So I decided to leave and booked another hotel. He didn't offer me any refund or compensation, just said he was sorry. Sorry is nice, but dosent help my sleep ;)

This was the quickest check in and out at any hotel I have stayed in. It went very smoothly. Hotel was clean and convenient for transport options. The only slight downside was that you get some noise from the trams running in this area, but this is the same for other hotels in this area that I have stayed in previously. Staff were pleasant and I would defiantly consider staying here again in the future.

Hotel is clean and well presented. Reception staff friendly and helpful; same cannot be said for breakfast-room staff. Hotel is well located for restaurants and cafes and for the tram network. Therein lies the problem - the trams roll over a junction right outside the hotel and they continue to run through the night. It's not the Hotel's fault, but if you're a light sleeper and/or like to sleep with a window open, this is not the Hotel for you.

The hotel is on a street with trams so it takes a couple of nights to get used to the trams going along. The staff were fantastic - helpful and knowledgable. I thought the breakfast was amazing for a small hotel. Comfy bed and the location is so convenient.

The location is within walking distance of the Hauptbahnhof, but far enough away as not to be in the roar of station traffic. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, modern rooms. Good, reasonably priced restaurants in the area. Conveniently located for the Bus 100 to the museums. Excellent value for the money.

The location is excellent. The rooms are airy, clean, and not too small. The staff is friendly and helpful. The Hauptbahnhof is within walking distance. The Line 100 museum bus stops around the corner. Lots of ethnic restaurants in the immediate area., as well as a great classic German Biergarten. Ask for a room not facing the street, so as to avoid the sound of the tram.

La ubicación es perfecta si uno llega a la estación central de Munich. Tiene varias opciones para comer alrededor de una amplia variedad de presupuestos. Para movilizarse en tren y bus están ahí casi en frente o se tiene que caminar un poco más. Dependiendo de su razón de viaje si es por negocios creo que puede ser conveniente pagar el desayuno del hotel y si es por placer, hay opciones un poco más cómodas saliendo del hotel y caminando un poco más. La habitación impecable, súper bonita.

Well located for the main railway station and walking to central areas, though the lack of air conditioning meant we did not sleep well. It was helpful that there was a fan in the room, but unfortunately given how warm it was when we visited in June it was still uncomfortable at night. Good facilities in the hotel otherwise. Multicultural area, not far from main areas of tourist interest. Great breakfast (cash only) at California Bean just down the road.
