Resort incrível. É sim um resort. Estive lá no final de 2024. Restaurante principal (muita fartura de comida no almoço, jantar e café da manhã / sempre com variedades incríveis de sobremesa / peixe, porco e frango sempre tem). O outro restaurante (pequeno) funciona com reservas mas é fast-food. Limpeza do resort é muito boa em todo lugar. Equipe de trabalho extremamente gentil e atenciosa (destaques: Alexis-garçom, Lendy-garçom, César-barman). Por falar em bar, os drinks são bem servidos, bem feitos e saborosos, com no mínimo umas 15 opções no cardápio. Fazem com boa vontade. A noite sempre tem algum evento na área da piscina, seja música ao vivo, danças típicas, noite de karaokê e etc… equipe de eventos da noite muito boa (durante a manhã na praia essa mesma equipe proporciona aula de ioga, dança e outras coisas). As piscinas estão sempre limpas. O resort é muito bonito e bem arborizado. A noite fica lindo. Pequenos problemas aconteceram mas não tiraram o brilho do lugar. Uma vez ou outra faltou água mas nada demorado e o checkin foi um pouco demorado. No mais com certeza podem ir pra experiência será única. Pra mim o grande problema de Punta Cana é chegar nos resorts. Depois que chega é um paraíso. Qualquer dúvida pode chamar. Parabéns Whala!

Hotel de boa qualidade com excelentes atendentes (principalmente o gerente do restaurante Sueño). O hotel possui 3 piscinas e o all inclusive é composto por 2 restaurantes e 3 bares espalhados pelo hotel, praia e piscinas. Durante o período noturno possui algumas atrações e atividades com os hóspedes.

The facility was outdated and various things were not working properly. The balcony faced a fence with no view. The clothes hanger out side the room fell off the wall and the tv wasn’t working. These were not critical items to us just a slight inconvenience. The staff, the events and shows were very good. The buffet was good, just not great. The gym is outside and very very outdated and rusty. Overall, our stay was average for the price we paid.

Atendimento da recepção/check in muito bom em especial da Katherine! Restaurante principal (café/almoço e jantar) bom, porém o restaurante a la carte com reserva (El Sueño) só está com Menu de lanches. Aliás lanches ruins. O caminho para chegar ao restaurante está com esgoto a céu aberto, cheiro terrível e não houve sequer uma passagem temporária sem ter que pisar no esgoto. O quarto é bom, ar condicionado, frigobar e chuveiro idem. Não é possível frequentar a piscina do terraço da extensão do hotel em frente a praia. Fomos direcionados a sair imediatamente.

A la carte restaurant is terrible, slow. Buffet mediocre and unless you are early they don’t replensish the food. Few staff speak English. Tiny amount of cocktails on the menu and all made with cheapest liquor and often don’t have the ingredients for all of them. Can be very noisy. Small pools. Only upside is a couple of the bar staff are great. Beach is terrible covered in seaweed and smelly so cannot get to the sea. Sister hotel charged $50 for a day pass

Auch wenn man früher anreist: Die Schlüsselkarte bekommt man erst ab 15.00 uhr, keine Minute früher. Um an den Privatstrand zu kommen, muss man auf die Straße gehen und durch das ca. 100 Meter entfernte Hotel Bavaro Beach durchgehen. Das Doppelzimmer sieht nicht aus wie auf den Fotos, Ausblick vom Balkon auf das ca. 10 Meter entfernte Nachbargebäude. Safe ist vorhanden, wenn man ihn benützen will, kostet das Extra. Late check out kann man nicht schon beim check in organisieren und bezahlen, das ist ausschließlich am Abreisetag in der früh möglich (US$ 10,-- pro Stunde). Getränkeangebot sehr eingeschränkt , es fehlen dennoch erforderliche Zutaten (z.b. White Russian: Eiswürfel, Wodka, sehr wenig Kaffeelikör, Kokosmich, in einem Becher, mit dem Barlöffel umgerührt.)

The location is perfect! Literally steps from the beach. The food leaves a lot to be desired. They are remodeling and there was A LOT of noise. At one point my entire building was without water due to the construction: also they play music extremely loudly until about 2 am (the actual hotel not a guest)

El personal ofreció un buen servició, las instalaciones son regulares, no están todas las áreas incluidas. TV no funciono, agua salobre en el baño y piscina.

El servicio es bueno, pero las instalaciones necesitan ser remodeladas.

We checked out early due to issues with our room. Moldy smell and water flooding due to rain. Facility is outdated with holes in the walls.

Moldy smell throughout the room as soon as we entered. Our room flooded from balcony overnight. All the stuff on the floor got wet. My mom even slipped when packing up our stuff. We informed staff but they took over an hour to send us smaller room for only 2 person for 4 of us. They didn’t give us key card for room; they said systems were down and they will change the room later. Limited menu breakfast to Caribbean food. We had to leave and book another hotel instead of staying 4 days.

Mi reciente estancia en el Hotel "whala!bavaro”dejó mucho que desear. Desde el momento en que llegué, quedé sorprendida por la falta de disponibilidad del personal para abordar cualquier inconveniente. Este aspecto, combinado con una serie de problemas en las instalaciones, contribuyó a una experiencia extremadamente insatisfactoria. La habitación asignada estaba lejos de ser acogedora. No solo estaba sucia, sino que también encontré que el control del aire acondicionado no funcionaba correctamente, lo que hizo que el ambiente fuera incómodo y poco agradable. El área de comida tampoco escapó a los problemas. La sensación de suciedad era evidente, y para empeorar las cosas, presencié cómo el chef de la noche manipulaba los alimentos con las manos en la estación de pasta. Esta falta de higiene es inaceptable en cualquier establecimiento que sirva comida a sus huéspedes. Además, no pude ignorar el olor persistente a humedad que impregnaba todo el hotel. Esta característica desagradable no solo afectaba mi comodidad, sino que también generaba preocupaciones sobre la calidad del ambiente interior. En resumen, mi experiencia en el Hotel fue decepcionante en todos los aspectos. La falta de atención al cliente, la falta de limpieza y mantenimiento, y la preocupante falta de higiene en el área de comida, son problemas graves que deben abordarse de inmediato por el bienestar y la satisfacción de los huéspedes futuros.

Había un olor muy desagradable, una fuga de agua y finalmente lo que me hizo salir corriendo de ahí fue encontrar cucarachas, no pude quedarme ni una noche, aún estoy a la espera de resolver mi reclamo y me den mi reembolso, fue lo más horrible que he pasado

The bathroom, water faucet smells so bad. The water in the pool was dirty too. Very poor and limited variety of Food, and everyday was almost the same. In general i will want NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. i have been in Punta Cana many times and this is the worst place that i havce seen so far. The hotel has nothing to do with what was advertised and there are seaweed everywhere and it is not being maintained or cleaned in front the hotel. We had to walk 1/2 mile every day to get to a clean beach . They first couple days had to move us to a new room because of a broken AC

La puscina tenia demasiado cloro, la limpieza en la habitacion muy mala limpian con agua sucia y babosa, el agua de bañarse y de cepillarse subia con un muy mal olor, inodoro y bañera tapada y habia poca variedad en el bufette en carnes, etc.

Staff was excellent and also happy to assist; however due to hot weather some food items were spoiled. Flies were everywhere on food. Swimming pools are dirty and even everywhere there was a garbage smell. Cleaning was poor. I saw some blood spots on the third floor stairs on second day but no one cleaned that until I checked out. My room’s washroom ceiling was leaking and I requested them to fix it; however no response. Resort should more focus on cleaning.

The facilities are out dated. Roaches were present, tv didn't work. Room never got cleaned, too many flies in the restaurant, beach was dirty,

Dead roaches in room, lizards running on the curtains and mosquitoes flying around. Bathroom moldy and smelly. TV & phone not working in the room. I can go on and on!!!

The bathroom was dirty, water smells so bad. On Monday we had to move to other place because there were not electricity and water in the property. The water in the pool was dirty too. They have poor variety Food, no meat, and everyday was the same. In general i dont want to recommend this hotel to any want.

I had booked the regular rooms..DO NOT DO THAT.. if you stay at this hotel make sure to book the superior room ONLY. The regular rooms are outdated and need work. The A/C was broken down, the lamps were rusty and the shower walls had mold. I was not going to allow that they had changed my room 3 times until they put me in the Supeiror room that is an updated room. Food was good enough. Entertaininment was cool. They need to put new sliding balcony doors on as you can hear everything outside. We heard the entertainment all night til 12 midnight very loud. The best thing is that its local to shops and dining and the beach. I would not stay at this place again though to many other all- inclusive options

Room was clean, staff was nice. Not too many ppl speak English and the hotel was a little outdated. If you like nice, luxurious stay for a good price then you may wanna stay at another hotel. Price was good but it was a 5/10 for me

Very nice sensory the beach is across the street. This spot is more for adults if you’re looking to just chill and vibe this is perfect. Not really for young adults. There was roaches in our room hopefully they get that checked out. The front desk said it’s everywhere when we asked for a room switch.

It was all good but our bed was hard as a rock and our power kept turning off and the tv did not work and the water was cold until we asked for a new room . Other then that our stay was pretty good.

Unfortunately my stay was underwhelming. I booked a superior room for my birthday and upon checking into the room I was dissatisfied. We asked for an upgrade immediately and offered to pay but the receptionist (Joanna) said there were no rooms which a few days later the other receptionists said was not true. Our assigned room was not soundproof (it was beside the entertainment which was very loud in the room). The shower did not drain which we reported three times to the front desk and no one came to fix. The electrical sockets in the room stopped working on the second day so we had to charge our devices outside the rooms to continue using them. This was reported multiple times and no one came. The bed was extremely hard. The AC did not cool the room and it stayed hot. On my birthday, i visited the reception area again close to tears and another receptionist (Earnesto) changed our rooms and told us many other superior rooms were available. To compensate he offered a birthday cake (I did not get it) and promised to speak to the manager to compensate (they still have not gotten back to me). I have gotten nothing for my horrible experience. The new room had none if the issues above and looks like what was advertised on the website unlike the initial assigned room. I am not sure why they lied about availability but I would not recommend.

They have room cleaning service won’t a few days and you have to chase they down sometimes to clean your room . They need to update the air conditioner boxes because they look old .

It is close to the beach, food was average, wifi kept disconnecting, bathroom door lock is broken, toilet doesn't flush properly until I figured out I had to flush twice. The water was disconnected from the room 2 hrs before I had to checked out coming back from the beach at 10 a.m no water to shower or use the toilet. I asked at the front desk and the lady pretend not to understand but she could understand every thing else that I was saying.

The reviews about not having hot water are partially right. We had hot water once in our room but heard that other rooms had it but it would go cold for a couple minutes mid shower. Not having hot water wasn't a problem because it was so hot that a cold shower was welcome. Until you want to shave your legs and have goosebumps. And reception had no bandaids available in their first aid kit when there was an inevitable shaving cut. So, bring first aid. Our room was immediately next to a main pool and where the nightly entertainment was. If you're not looking for a party, make a point to request a quiet area of the hotel or you won't be able to sleep or even nap until after 11/11:30pm. The street is old, as is the infrastructure so the street often floods with grey water that smells like sewage in the afternoon but is gone by morning. I read complaints about this and, for sure, it's not ideal but consider what you're paying and that you're in a country that doesn't have the same municipal facilities you're used to. You should stay home if you don't expect to encounter these kinds of inconveniences. Or pay 4x as much to stay somewhere else. Roll with it or don't, but don't complain when you get what you paid for. If you're looking for a calm, quiet getaway, this is not it. If you're looking for an all day pool party that's family friendly, this might be your vibe. Most importantly, there's a puppy that lives on the beach that will steal your heart.

Our room (#3215) was very outdated, but mainly the air conditioner was placed on an inner wall, going in to the bathroom, and the ceiling where the water condensation ran through, was drooping severely and leaked water drops on you when you were in the bathroom. Our shower water also was Salt Water? what is that, never felt clean. Food wasn't the best, all dominican mainly, but the flavoring wasn't great, but they tried. Staff was good but not many spoke English. Bar servers were good except on Woman, she was terrible at service. Maids did well on cleaning. But no Blankets in room, only sheets. Lots of Noise from outdoor activities in this particular room or ones nearby, with the pools outside, the kitchen outside it and the shows there also.

El punto negativo pero MUY NEGATIVO es el personal de la recepcion son personas groseras, antipaticas y poco serviciales con carencia total de etica en su trabajo consideramos que no son personas idoneas para estar en esta posicion,

I mean if could give it a 0 i will, but unfortunately theres no 0, dont know if employees are getting paid enough, still thats no ones business, you still have to do the job and be enthusiastic and professional about it and make feel customer welcome. EVERY EMPLOYEE FROM SUPERVISORS TO MAINTENANCE STAFF, NEEDS TO BE VETTER TRAINED.BUT YIU CAN TELL YOU GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR

Very good hotel, I will be staying again! Very wellness vibe. Rebeca and Jenika were lovely staff that helped me with everything, the check in and check out ladies, Ruth and Nairobi, were awesome!!

The customer service at thisnhotel was superb! Not wvwyone was as friendly and professional as the front desk and guest service personal. Johanny was extremely professional and gave nothing but 5 star service. Yordy and many more whom I cant remember all the names. I would like to express my thnaks again to many of the staffs there!

Very disappointing stay. We arrived at 7 AM exhausted and asked for early check-in, even offering to pay extra. The front desk refused to help, even when we asked at 1 PM just to store our bags in just 1 room till they have all 3 rooms ready. My aunts’ room had a broken toilet, a shower that stopped working, and a sink that wouldn’t drain. Staff came a few times but barely tried and never fully fixed anything. We kept reporting the issues, and the front desk either ignored us or said to wait until the next day at 3 PM for a room change. They told us to use a bathroom outside the room after telling them how are my aunts going to use the bathroom and shower … The problems were only fixed after we had to get loud and confront them in front of other guests — only then did they finally take action. Food was decent, drinks were watered down, and the dining staff ignored us often. Overall, terrible customer service and very poor responsiveness. I do not recommend this hotel.

The guest service was horrible. It took us over an hour to check in. The person at the front desk was very rude. The food was basic and tasteless. Not a good experience overall.

I had a very disappointing experience with this hotel. I arrived with a fully paid reservation made through Hotels.com and showed my payment receipt, yet I was told there were no rooms available and that the hotel was fully booked. The staff said they never received my reservation and claimed it was not their responsibility, blaming Hotels.com instead. The manager, Gilberto, was rude and unhelpful, showing no interest in assisting, taking responsibility, or offering any solution. I was left without accommodation despite having already paid in full. Because of this situation, I had to pay for a taxi, book another hotel at a higher price, and deal with unnecessary stress. In addition, the hotel’s facilities did not appear well maintained, which further added to the negative experience. This situation was not my fault. A hotel should honor a paid and confirmed reservation or properly assist the guest when an issue occurs. I am requesting a full refund of my money, as I did not receive the service I paid for. Due to the lack of professionalism and poor customer service, I would not recommend this hotel.

The staff made this the worst experience. Poor customer service, not manner when talking to people, asked for towels that I’m still waiting for. Other than the staff everything else was decent

Even though the walk to the beach was not too far, they should advertise that their property is not right on the beach side. Other than that, beautiful beach, but should be cleaned more properly as there was so much algae. If you walk further down the beach that’s owned by other resorts, they do a much better job keeping their side of the beach cleaner and there’s not as much algae. I understand that algae is natural but some resorts do a much better job keeping their water and sand cleaner. As for the resort itself, it was nice but would appreciate if there was more things to do and more entertainment for the guests during the day rather than just at night.

Our first impression was the smell of sewage in front of the hotel. The property is nice and the food is decent. The property and activities are great. The room had a leaky noisy air conditioner and the ceiling had cracks and water damage. This was a last minute hotel switch due that we didn’t want to drive 5 hours to Punta Plata. Overall we were happy with the service and the people were great. Rooms need some help. The views were awesome and the beach was great.

Pobre el buffet (no ofrecen variedad) y bastante malos los tragos.El personal muy cordial y servicial Pero hacen lo que pueden con lo que tienen.Se nota la mala Administracion y organizacion.

Increíble el hotel, fue mucho mejor de lo que esperaba, el único inconveniente para mí fue el agua de las regaderas, ya que también es agua de mar, además del olor de azufre a ciertas horas durante la estancia, la gente super amable, recepción, chef, personal de limpieza y animación Increíble su atención :)

The staff is amazing, we had a great time. The facility is good but the food is not so good. General we can say that it is a nice hotel for the price.
