The building appears to a former Abbey or Aged Care facility or similar institution. Fairly dated. Inadequately maintained, bizarre mix of decor. Needs reno or at least refurb. Friendly staff though a bit non-conformist (no staff identifiers). Breakfast was good. Isolated location, so surrounds are quite suburban. Close to the hospital. Reasonably priced though probably a bit high still for the facilities. The pool and pool gardens are a shocker.

Quiet stay during Christmas holiday period. My room in Ground floor is "walk to the pool" with Gym. The only thing is the water temperature in SPA is cooler than the swimming pool. Uncomfortable spa.

We only stayed one night but it was great. The interior was beautiful. We had two rooms one was bigger than the other. Pool needs a little work but we enjoyed it anyway. Perfect for families. The staff were super friendly.

There was a domestic dispute occurring in the room next to us which woke us up at 10pm. The roof out in the corridors was leaking from the rain. The ceiling in the corridor had mould from water leaks. The fish in the restaurant was way over cooked- which couldn’t be eaten and too expensive for the quality of the meal. And there was very little staff around when you needed something. I would not recommend.

I checked in at around just after 2pm yesterday, there was rubbish left in both bins from the previous person who had stayed there, 3 out of 5 light switches didn't even work & even after complaining apparently nothing could be done.

The hotel has aged and needs to be renovated. While it is an old building, i could hear people walk around outside and in the room next doors due to the floor creaking. The room had a variety of different light fixture with several globes out. The air conditioning remot was broken. The room was spacous and th3 bed was reasonably comfortable. There was a restaurant and the food was ok, but limited.

The accommodation was very comfortable and the staff were helpful and courteous. The hotel is also in good order and I love the old worldly feel. What I didn’t like was lack of staff particularly at breakfast. Also the continental breakfast was just cereal, tinned fruit and three choices of bread. No fruit bread. I also had to ask for skim milk. When I did ask though the staff were very obliging. Also mushrooms couldn’t be ordered on toast. The garden also needs attention. A lot of this are just small things but if these were fixed they’d get a 5 but only a 3.5 today.

The moment Marsha said Hello and Welcome, I felt like I'd walked into a friend's home. Helpful with directions (I didn't have a clue where I was just followed a voice on the phone). Understood my fatigue after returning from a long first day. Remembered my name which really impressed. The quality of food coming from the kitchen was only succeeded by the level of customer service from the staff.
