Bautiful architecture, large rooms and teraces with great vews. Furniture getting tired, rooms and corridors not cleaned regularly, the same dirt was there on the floors for the whole week of our stay. Breakfast not up to standard, but evening meals in La Muna and Sapori were fine. Outdoor pool was great. Staff very helpful, Lena from kids club took fantastic care of our doggy taking him for long walks everyday.

Wir waren jetzt drei Nächte im Alpen Gold in Davos und das Hotel an sich ist natürlich top. Sehr schöne Zimmer, sehr geräumig, hochwertig Materialien, schönes, grosses Bad. Wir hatten kein Frühstück gebucht und nur Kuchen und Drinks konsumiert. Der Kuchen war erstklassig und originell. ABER Bei einem Fünf Sterne Hotel in dieser Preisklasse darf es auch an den Kleinigkeiten nicht hapern. Im Sauna und Wellnessbereich gab es keine Dusch und Haarwaschmittel. Auch standen keine Nüsse oder Obst zur Erfrischung bereit. Der Ruheraum war kalt in der Optik und in der Temperatur. Ich wurde ermahnt, keine Handtücher aus dem Sauna bereich mit aufs Zimmer zu nehmen. Ich sollte mit nassen Haaren durchs Hotel laufen. Nach kleiner Diskussion wurde die Zimmernummer aufgeschrieben, damit wir ja keine Handtücher klauen. Wenn man den Morgen Service auf dem Zimmer, wegen „ do not disturb“ verpasst hat, kann es passieren, dass das Zimmer bis abends nicht gemacht ist. Laut Aussage der Rezeption, wird der Tages Serviice von morgens bis abends um 17:30 Uhr gemacht. Wenn man vom Skifahren kommt oder vom wandern, möchte man am Nachmittag ein schönes sauberes Zimmer haben. Also, wenn man nicht schnell genug aus dem Zimmer ist, hat man erst mal Pech gehabt. Der Skikeller hat für mich auch eher das Niveau von einem Hostel und nicht das eines Fünfsternehotel. Kleinigkeiten machen es dann am Ende aus, ob man ein Hotel noch mal bucht. Das Personal an der Rezeption und vom Transfer waren sehr bemüht und freund

Séjour fantastique! Hôtel absolument a recommander. Suite magnifique, très bien équipé et très belle vue. Nous avons passés des vacances splendide grace au personnel de l'hôtel AlpenGold! L'accueil et la réception était au top. Le team de la réception et du service de la conciergerie mérite une médaille d'or! Toujours très gentil et ils vous conseils dans toutes vos demandes. Navette tout les demi-heures avec un chauffeur qui est très professionnel et serviable. Nous avons très apprécié le team du petit-déjeuner, toujours souriante, rapide et l'attention au petit détail était parfait. Nous aurions pu rester des heures. Encore une fois le personnel des restaurants: La Muña, Sapori, cheese factory: ils nous ont fait rêver! Merci au team du bar nuts&co: ils vous prépare des cocktails merveilleux avec l'ambiance "live DJ" pour accompagner vos soirées. Merci au team du SPA, encore un rêve et ne pas oublier le personnel qui vous prépare le lit le soir et nettoye la chambre la perfection! La Boutique dans l'hôtel avec son service de location de skis est très pratique. Der Empfang war freundlich. Zimmer genug gross. Bei 5* erwarteten wir eine Süssigkeit oder eine Frucht. Es gab nichts, ausser einer Wasserflasche. Diese wurde am kommenden Tag erst auf unsere Intervention aufgefüllt, dasselbe mit dem Tee. Keine Vorhänge wurden am Abend gezogen oder das Bett am Abend frisch gemacht. Frühstück war reichhaltig und lecker. Shuttleservice klappte bestens.

The service was not great. Understaffed and often did not understand or answer your request. Slow service at everything from restaurants to the spa room service etc. WARNING! The saune is for adults only. Do not got there with your kids. People go there naked but there was no warning for this and no one from the staff told us this local culture deed. Food was rubbish but Switzerland as a whole does not have great food to be honest. The hotel is nice the manager was very kind to upgrade us. The facilities were great location is good and you have shuttle service for free. Its a really nice hotel.

Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist schlecht. Bei Ankunft im Hotelzimmer waren benutzte Tassen und Löffel unserer Vorgänger bereitgestellt. Das ist für ein 5*-Hotel völlig inakzeptabel. Nach Reklamation wurden zwar neue Tassen und Löffel gebracht, die Entschuldigung sowohl vom Housekeeping als auch Rezeption war für ein Hotel dieser Klasse ebenfalls sehr schwach, es wurde keinerlei Entgegenkommen gezeigt, was für einen derartigen Fehler angemessen gewesen wäre. Das sind Basics die in jedem 3*-Hotel funktionieren. Abendessen und Frühstück war super vor allem der sehr professionelle Service der dortigen Kellner. Spa-Bereich ist okay. Alles in allem würden wir nicht wiederkommen, da das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis nicht passt.

Séjour fantastique! Hôtel absolument a recommander. Suite magnifique, très bien équipé et très belle vue. Nous avons passés des vacances splendide grace au personnel de l'hôtel AlpenGold! L'accueil et la réception était au top. Le team de la réception et du service de la conciergerie mérite une médaille d'or! Toujours très gentil et ils vous conseils dans toutes vos demandes. Navette tout les demi-heures avec un chauffeur qui est très professionnel et serviable. Nous avons très apprécié le team du petit-déjeuner, toujours souriante, rapide et l'attention au petit détail était parfait. Nous aurions pu rester des heures. Encore une fois le personnel des restaurants: La Muña, Sapori, cheese factory: ils nous ont fait rêver! Merci au team du bar nuts&co: ils vous prépare des cocktails merveilleux avec l'ambiance "live DJ" pour accompagner vos soirées. Merci au team du SPA, encore un rêve et ne pas oublier le personnel qui vous prépare le lit le soir et nettoye la chambre la perfection! La Boutique dans l'hôtel avec son service de location de skis est très pratique. Nous voyageons souvent dans le monde entier dans des hôtels similaires, mais l'hôtel AlpenGold mérite la distinction du meilleur hôtels de l'année 2023, grâce au personnel. We stayed at the AlpenGold Hotel for a weekend and our stay was amazing . The view was spectacular. The room , roomserivce, and the breakfast buffet was perfect . The staff are very professional. We left there very happy :)

Wir hatten uns sehr auf den Aufenthalt im Alpengold Hotel gefreut nach unzähligen Besuchen des Goldigen Ei’s in den vergangenen Jahren. Leider ist unsere Enttäuschung gross. Das Hotel selber und die Zimmer sind nach wie vor tadellos. Aber dann ist die Sache auch fertig. Eine Fabrik wie wir selten gesehen haben zusammen mit einem überforderten Personal. Warten warten warten, Reception (2x15min), Lift (15min) überall. Kein Willkommensgruss im Zimmer, keine Karte, keine Schoggi, keine Blume. Nichts. Das Zimmer wurde im eilttempo gemacht, die Shampoo und Duschgel Flaeschchen werden nicht ergänzt. Am Abend wird das Zimmer nicht besucht, da ist 5 Sterne Niveau aber weit entfert. Alles in Allem bin ich froh wieder abzureisen. Es wird wohl sehr lange dauern bis wir hier als gute Gäste des Hauses wieder vorbei kommen. Ein klassischer Anfangsfehler. Eroeffne nie ein Hotel oder ein Restaurant wenn du nicht 100% bereit bist…. Alpengold hat neu statt 4 jetzt 5 Sterne bekommen,von uns gibt’s nur 3. Schade aber das geht so ganz klar nicht.

Der Empfang war freundlich. Zimmer genug gross. Bei 5* erwarteten wir eine Süssigkeit oder eine Frucht. Es gab nichts, ausser einer Wasserflasche. Diese wurde am kommenden Tag erst auf unsere Intervention aufgefüllt, dasselbe mit dem Tee. Keine Vorhänge wurden am Abend gezogen oder das Bett am Abend frisch gemacht. Frühstück war reichhaltig und lecker. Shuttleservice klappte bestens.

Es ist ein Armutszeugnis, dass in einem Hotel im Herzen der Schweiz 95% des Personals KEIN DEUTSCH spricht. Die Preise sind massiv zu hoch für die Leistung, die man kriegt. Die Nacht für 600 CHF, das Zimmer eher klein, im Bad hat es nicht für 2 Schampoos und Duschgels gereicht. Das Frühstücksbuffet war zwar ok, jedoch die über 30 CHF definitiv nicht wert. So gehts auch weiter im Restaurant. Das Rind - Menü für 80 CHF hatte grad mal 70 Gramm Fleisch drauf. Im gleichen Stil war auch der Rest der Speisen. Das ganze Hotel ist irgendwie von einem anderen Stern.....

Bautiful architecture, large rooms and teraces with great vews. Furniture getting tired, rooms and corridors not cleaned regularly, the same dirt was there on the floors for the whole week of our stay. Breakfast not up to standard, but evening meals in La Muna and Sapori were fine. Outdoor pool was great. Staff very helpful, Lena from kids club took fantastic care of our doggy taking him for long walks everyday.

Wir waren jetzt drei Nächte im Alpen Gold in Davos und das Hotel an sich ist natürlich top. Sehr schöne Zimmer, sehr geräumig, hochwertig Materialien, schönes, grosses Bad. Wir hatten kein Frühstück gebucht und nur Kuchen und Drinks konsumiert. Der Kuchen war erstklassig und originell. ABER Bei einem Fünf Sterne Hotel in dieser Preisklasse darf es auch an den Kleinigkeiten nicht hapern. Im Sauna und Wellnessbereich gab es keine Dusch und Haarwaschmittel. Auch standen keine Nüsse oder Obst zur Erfrischung bereit. Der Ruheraum war kalt in der Optik und in der Temperatur. Ich wurde ermahnt, keine Handtücher aus dem Sauna bereich mit aufs Zimmer zu nehmen. Ich sollte mit nassen Haaren durchs Hotel laufen. Nach kleiner Diskussion wurde die Zimmernummer aufgeschrieben, damit wir ja keine Handtücher klauen. Wenn man den Morgen Service auf dem Zimmer, wegen „ do not disturb“ verpasst hat, kann es passieren, dass das Zimmer bis abends nicht gemacht ist. Laut Aussage der Rezeption, wird der Tages Serviice von morgens bis abends um 17:30 Uhr gemacht. Wenn man vom Skifahren kommt oder vom wandern, möchte man am Nachmittag ein schönes sauberes Zimmer haben. Also, wenn man nicht schnell genug aus dem Zimmer ist, hat man erst mal Pech gehabt. Der Skikeller hat für mich auch eher das Niveau von einem Hostel und nicht das eines Fünfsternehotel. Kleinigkeiten machen es dann am Ende aus, ob man ein Hotel noch mal bucht. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist schlecht. Bei Ankunft im Hotelzimmer waren benutzte Tassen und Löffel unserer Vorgänger bereitgestellt. Das ist für ein 5*-Hotel völlig inakzeptabel. Nach Reklamation wurden zwar neue Tassen und Löffel gebracht, die Entschuldigung sowohl vom Housekeeping als auch Rezeption war für ein Hotel dieser Klasse ebenfalls sehr schwach, es wurde keinerlei Entgegenkommen gezeigt, was für einen derartigen Fehler angemessen gewesen wäre. Das sind Basics die in jedem 3*-Hotel funktionieren. Abendessen und Frühstück war super vor allem der sehr professionelle Service der dortigen Kellner. Spa-Bereich ist okay. Alles in allem würden wir nicht wiederkommen, da das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis nicht passt.

Dem Hotel fehlt der Flair. Zimmer sind einem 5 Sterne Haus entsprechend, der Service eher einem 3 Sterne Haus. Empfangsbereich könnte mall renoviert werden. Das Essen ist eher Mittelklasse und nicht dass was man in solch einem Haus erwartet. Personal spricht größtenteils kein Deutsch, für die Region nicht zu verstehen. Empfangspersonal hatte teilweise zu kleine Kleidung an. Der Gesamteindruck war dass das Haus kurz vor dem Aus steht.

The service was not great. Understaffed and often did not understand or answer your request. Slow service at everything from restaurants to the spa room service etc. WARNING! The saune is for adults only. Do not got there with your kids. People go there naked but there was no warning for this and no one from the staff told us this local culture deed. Food was rubbish but Switzerland as a whole does not have great food to be honest. The hotel is nice the manager was very kind to upgrade us. The facilities were great location is good and you have shuttle service for free. Its a really nice hotel.

We stayed at the AlpenGold Hotel for a weekend and our stay was amazing . The view was spectacular. The room , roomserivce, and the breakfast buffet was perfect . The staff are very professional. We left there very happy :)

The service was not great. Understaffed and often did not understand or answer your request. Slow service at everything from restaurants to the spa room service etc. WARNING! The saune is for adults only. Do not got there with your kids. People go there naked but there was no warning for this and no one from the staff told us this local culture deed. Food was rubbish but Switzerland as a whole does not have great food to be honest. The hotel is nice the manager was very kind to upgrade us. The facilities were great location is good and you have shuttle service for free. Its a really nice hotel.

Bautiful architecture, large rooms and teraces with great vews. Furniture getting tired, rooms and corridors not cleaned regularly, the same dirt was there on the floors for the whole week of our stay. Breakfast not up to standard, but evening meals in La Muna and Sapori were fine. Outdoor pool was great. Staff very helpful, Lena from kids club took fantastic care of our doggy taking him for long walks everyday.

Séjour fantastique! Hôtel absolument a recommander. Suite magnifique, très bien équipé et très belle vue. Nous avons passés des vacances splendide grace au personnel de l'hôtel AlpenGold! L'accueil et la réception était au top. Le team de la réception et du service de la conciergerie mérite une médaille d'or! Toujours très gentil et ils vous conseils dans toutes vos demandes. Navette tout les demi-heures avec un chauffeur qui est très professionnel et serviable. Nous avons très apprécié le team du petit-déjeuner, toujours souriante, rapide et l'attention au petit détail était parfait. Nous aurions pu rester des heures. Encore une fois le personnel des restaurants: La Muña, Sapori, cheese factory: ils nous ont fait rêver! Merci au team du bar nuts&co: ils vous prépare des cocktails merveilleux avec l'ambiance "live DJ" pour accompagner vos soirées. Merci au team du SPA, encore un rêve et ne pas oublier le personnel qui vous prépare le lit le soir et nettoye la chambre la perfection! La Boutique dans l'hôtel avec son service de location de skis est très pratique. Der Empfang war freundlich. Zimmer genug gross. Bei 5* erwarteten wir eine Süssigkeit oder eine Frucht. Es gab nichts, ausser einer Wasserflasche. Diese wurde am kommenden Tag erst auf unsere Intervention aufgefüllt, dasselbe mit dem Tee. Keine Vorhänge wurden am Abend gezogen oder das Bett am Abend frisch gemacht. Frühstück war reichhaltig und lecker. Shuttleservice klappte bestens.

Es ist ein Armutszeugnis, dass in einem Hotel im Herzen der Schweiz 95% des Personals KEIN DEUTSCH spricht. Die Preise sind massiv zu hoch für die Leistung, die man kriegt. Die Nacht für 600 CHF, das Zimmer eher klein, im Bad hat es nicht für 2 Schampoos und Duschgels gereicht. Das Frühstücksbuffet war zwar ok, jedoch die über 30 CHF definitiv nicht wert. So gehts auch weiter im Restaurant. Das Rind - Menü für 80 CHF hatte grad mal 70 Gramm Fleisch drauf. Im gleichen Stil war auch der Rest der Speisen. We were there in summer. It felt a bit overrated. Some areas clearly needed maintenance but it might be because its the lower season. Next time I would rather stay in one of the smaller villages around davos.

The hotel is nicely located a little outside of the town of Davos and while a shuttle service is offered, we took our own car, that allowed us to reach the slopes conveniently in just a few minutes. The hotel is very nice, the rooms are spacious and come with a balcony and a great view. The Spa area is very nice, clean and we very much enjoyed it. The dinner at the restaurant la Muña on the 10th floor was amazing and so was the staff/service. Kosta was fantastic. The hotel's staff and services otherwise were not good. It took them long to bring our bags to the room and we waited for about 1h until breakfast arrived to our room the next day. Particularly negative was the check-in experience with Agiliki. She clearly crossed a line in the way she was commenting on my girlfriends nationality for instance and her tone overall was far from polite and welcoming.
