Stayed 5 nights

Our five-night stay was unfortunately disappointing and did not live up to our expectations. The property does not clearly disclose how far the rooms are from the lobby or how many stairs are required to reach them. We stayed in a Deluxe River View room, and the distance was extreme. The amount of stairs required to get to and from the room and the street was genuinely a workout. This is something guests should be made aware of before booking, especially anyone with mobility concerns. Housekeeping was another major issue. During our entire five-night stay, our sheets and pillowcases were never changed, even after we specifically requested the room to be serviced. We also had to ask for basic necessities like toilet paper and fresh towels. When towels were provided, we received only two large bath towels and no smaller towels for our hands or face. The shower was also poorly designed or maintained. When turned on, water leaked out of the supposedly sealed shower and flooded the bathroom floor, including behind the toilet. This happened every time we showered and was extremely inconvenient. The most frustrating issue was the noise above our room. Staff were dragging and rearranging furniture at approximately 4:00 AM on two consecutive mornings. The noise was extremely loud inside our room, woke me up, and prevented me from falling back asleep. This was completely unacceptable and significantly impacted our stay. Overall, would not recommend this hotel.

I really did enjoy my stay, the pool was beautiful, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and I enjoyed the breakfast. However, be prepared for a lot of steps. My room happened to be on the very last level possible. Consider it a hike and six levels down. Also, don't be surprised about the bugs.

The staff was amazing, kind, helpful. Massage was so worth it and decently priced. Both pools are beautiful and well taken care of. The Deluxe rooms were a bit run down and could use Reno. The food was ok. Overall an amazing place to stay while in Ubud.

Loved the location - close to most things yet tucked away, off the road so it was completely quiet - made sleeping at night so easy. Small resort like feel, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It backed onto jungle and we couldn’t see other properties from it - felt very private. The forest / jungle behind the hotel, by the lower pool connected with the Monkey Forest, so we could watch the monkeys from the pool, we also saw parrots and iguanas in there. The gardens were pretty and well maintained. Pools were great, breakfast was lovely. Staff were nice and very attentive. A favourite property of ours, we will stay here again!
