Clean and affordable small motel in Shawnee. Great value. Plenty of restaurant options and gas stations nearby. I appreciate being able to pull directly up to my door. This spot was under 3 miles to my job site and had easy access to the interstate.

The entrance to this hotel was a little tricky to get in and out of. It was a very steep dirt bank that I hope they fix. Other than that, it was very nice and safe.

There is no indoor service. When checking in you stand outside and speak through a window. The grounds were very dark. The property was unkept. I wouldn't have stayed but no other rooms were available in the area that late. Shower sprayed water outside of the shower area. The only good thing water the beds had clean linens, and the room was relatively clean. I do not recommend.

Clean and functional. Fridge, microwave are pluses. Great for the price.

I was still surprised even though I read the reviews before booking. Such a clean, homey room. I was staying as a woman alone and I never once felt unsafe. Being able to park right up to the door is a plus and it was so quiet. I seldom sleep through the night. I did there. Will definitely stay again.

Almost no contact with staff. Handed me a key card through a hole in the glass.. that was it. OK with me as I didn't need anything but ice, and found it on my own.

No carpet or rugs in the room. No lobby to check in, just stand at the window and get helped there. It had high stars, but I should have done some more research. Would not stay here again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Smaller room but very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed including refrigerator with freezer and microwave. Stayed 2 nights and will definitely be back Close to dining and shopping

Did not see bed bugs but saw multiple roaches and the staff there were harassing my girlfriend and would come banging on my door. The young front desk woman was very kind and professional and very respectful though.

Clean room, microwave, fridge, good water pressure in shower and hot water is good temp. Staff is always friendly. Across from Buffalo Wild Wings and close to Mall.

The bedding was stained and dirty. Housekeeping bangs on the door like they are the feds and doesn’t give you time to get to door. Then they are rude when you ask to trade out dirty towels for clean ones. The floors were absolutely filthy. Left our feet black just walking around in room.

The room appeared clean but there are roaches.

This was probably the cleanest room I believe I have ever stayed in & I used to travel to both US coasts for my job.

Everything had a layer of dust as if the room had been empty for a long time. Everything else was as expected for the price.

The location was convenient and very well priced. The bed was very comfortable and there was excellent water pressure in the shower. The shower curtain does need to be replaced tho and it was stained. Just crashed for the night passing thru the area, seems like thats what most of the clientele there does. The deadbold didnt catch well, but there was a chain lock to add some security.

What a great place to stay! After over a week of staying at various “upscale” chain hotels I was lucky enough to discover this place. The beds and pillows were the most comfortable I’ve enjoyed in ages, and the price is ridiculously low. It is a single story hotel, so for once I wasn’t woken up by people waking up above me. I ended up spending most of a week there, and it was the best rest I’ve had the entire trip. Well maintained and spotlessly clean.

Renovated retro motel that was perfect for me! Strong Wi-Fi, nice bed, mini fridge, clean, plenty of hot water, great staff, and low cost. I will stay here every time I’m in Shawnee!

Great little place for the price, but the TV didn’t work other than that great room for the price

child crying next door, clearly audible in my room. Room was adequate but nothing special. Had a microwave and a refrigerator which was convenient.

The room was very clean but some of the furnishings were worn and in need of replacement. Overall it’s a great place to stay the night and the bed was fairly comfortable. The mini fridge was a plus to keep our drinks cold for the next day

My room was very clean and comfortable. I had all the amenities I needed. The hotel clerk was very friendly and accommodating. The only negatives of this place are noise of the air conditioner and the slow drainage in the bathtub.

The beds were old and uncomfortable. The room was uncomfortably cold when the a/c kicked on and uncomfortably warm when it turn off. I threw my covers off and on all night and barely got 2 hours of sleep.

This little motel had the most comfortable beds and pillows I've ever experienced. I actually slept.

Owner of hotel cares a lot about his property and his guests. Place run by just family members and they offer great service and a great room to atay

When we arrived at 8:30pm, no one was available to check us in. After a few minutes, a man showed up seemingly angry at our arrival. He insisted we pay an extra pet fee even though we had paid ahead and listed our dog as an occupant... Go figure. Thankfully the room was clean and we slept well.

It’s clean and pretty nice for how cheap it is, but when i went to check in last night the guy was sleeping and i couldn’t check in for like an hour until the guy decided to wake up finally. i pressed the bell and called and when i called he answered and got mad and said i have no rooms but i book and paid online.

Staff was rude

Staff/Owner.... my husband received a call 20 mintues from check out time telling him "Are you aware it is check out time"". So we went ahead and loaded our vehicle and he was sitting there by our room in a car....we drove around the building and came back around and sit enough he was entering our room to clean it was 10:50 am..... needless to say ang my husband handed him the key

Very cooperative to correct a mistake I made when booking our room.

At first the guy at the front desk was quite rude to me and told me to leave. So I did. I then went on hotels.com and got the room for cheaper then he said. I then come back and he says so I really couldn't understand him. So I just agreed with whatever he said he then asked me smoking or non smoking. I said non smoking as I said that I place my vape on the counter and he then said you lie no room. I said I do not smoke I vape he said same thing. I said no. I was forced to take a smoking room but before accepting the room he then asked how many. I said me and my two kids he then said no room. I said you know what then give me my money back from you on line booking and I'll go. He then said fine you put down 100 dollars deposited and if room is all clean I give you money back. I said because of my kids wow that is something else you don't know my kids and to assume they are going to mess up your room is insulting... I then said plz give me my money back so I can leave. He said he would take some off of the price. If it wasn't for being so late I probably would have said no and left. After two days of saying there we actually became friends and no more deposits. I hope he learned that everyone is different don't assume anything.

The inn was located just off I-40, easy in and out, and very clean. it is in a good place to get to the school quickly to see grandson’s baseball games and graduation, as well as easy to find several dining options. I felt safe staying there, and the owner was kind.

Our room was okay for what we paid. The fridge was turned off and there was some trash left under it. The easy chair was worn. There was not a desk which my husband would have liked to have. The bed was fairly comfortable. They do not serve any type of breakfast. The vending machines are in a space between the office building and the building housing the rooms. It was fairly quiet.

We enjoyed our stay at Colonial Inn. It was clean and spacious. The owner was very attentive lots of restaurants and a movie theater near by.

Room was exceptionally clean. We have stayed in many hotels with more features ( pool, exercise area, breakfast, etc. ), but we don't use any of that but the breakfast anyway. Often the breakfast offered is not that great. We could eat quite a breakfast with the sixty dollars we saved in rent. We will likely stay here again.

Close to the freeway and a Sonic drive in. Never understood a single word spoken by the manager/desk clerk. Pet fee was not mentioned at any time during the reservation process ☹️
