Pillows were flat and firm, room was great value for money, we walked in to a few attraction. Parking a bit tight. Noisey neighbours but cant blame management.

The unit was a 2-storey unit, large enough for my family of 7. Most appliances were old, the toilet at lower floor was fitted with a loose sliding door. No one dare to use it because the gap is too big. Toilet at upper floor had urine smell. It could be due to the carpeted toilet floor. Pillow case was dirty. Car park was cramped, narrow bend, and extremely bad for minibus, especially when others some dies not parked in their lot.

Room was not ready when we arrived at 5.00pm so they gave us another unit.It was very dated and in need of complete renovation.There was mould in the bathroom and the shower had old empty soap package in it. Had a person nose up to the window staring at us in the lounge. Grubby and dirty outside.Would not have stayed ther if we had not already paid.

It is a three star motel. I do not expect brand new. I do expect cleanliness, courteous helpful staff, and everything working as it should in the bathroom and kitchen. I was not disappointed. The seats and bed were very comfortable. Excellent.

Socks under desk, curtains dont fit, toilet water rises every flush , not cleaned very well for a motel, dysty and dirty abobe shelf in kitchenette. They gave us milk each day when we asked then all of a sudden no, so had to get our own, always had to ask for tea bags. They did change our towels daily and wipe around the bath room no blow dryer or power point in bathroom for one.very tired motel Handy to city, we only slept there as out all dsy

Nothing like the photos online for the room we had booked. The bathroom was tiny and dirty with someone else’s hair on the bench in the bathroom. The shower had less pressure than a man with prostrate issues and the kitchenette had no sink, meaning you had to fill the jug from the dirty hand basic which had rusty caps on it and was less than half a metre from the toilet. Couldn’t wash our dishes properly in the bathroom sink and left them rinsed the first night, arrived back the next day to find the just rinsed not washed dishes back up on the shelf in the kitchen with a bit of food still on it for the next time it’s used. Holes in the wall were another interesting feature along with woeful lighting. Don’t recommend.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom room. There were enough beds. We were only able to fill the bathtub with hot water once. The second time, I didn't have enough hot water, so I had to take a shower instead. Hand washing facilities in the main bedroom were prohibited. I am satisfied because the cost performance is very good. The staff were also kind and friendly.

I was stranded when my flight got canceled and they put me in a nice downstairs studio so i didn't have to struggle up stairs. When it was canceled again they let me re check in to the same room. Basic motel, but had everything i needed. Let's hope next time i stay it is on a planned trip.

Great shower. Couches were nice. Needs 30 second spray in Kitchen, a sand, and recoat on window seals. Rooms were nice. Staff was friendly. I prefer a securer lock on front door. Plenty of towels and beds. Heating was great too!

Staff were attentive and provided everything we asked for. Rooms were old and you could see areas that had been patched and repainted. Carpet was stained. But overall good value for money.

No teaspoons or drinking glasses provided - only wine glasses and coffee mugs. Nothing matched - crockery or cutlery. Asked for our room to be serviced - beds weren't touched, kitchen wasn't touched. Tea/coffee wasn't refilled in our 3 day stay. One out of 3 towels was changed.... Room was dated decor wise. But was sunny and office staff helpful - hairdryer stopped working and was replaced straight away.

The motel is located on a busy main road, so be prepared for noticeable traffic noise during both the day and the night. The heater provided in the room struggled to warm the space and took a very long time to heat what was a very cold room. I also noticed a few hairs on the bed cover when I first arrived, which was disappointing. Very unclean room, however the worse part of the experience was the pungent smell. It became stronger after turning on the heat pump. The toilet seat was broken. The staff were not contactable.

The Colonial inn is a solid choice for the price. My stay there was fine. It is an easy 15 minute walk into the central city.The rooms are large and practical and the bathroom and kitchen are clean and totally functional. The Motel is undergoing some maintenance which is good because it is a little run down. Because there is no double glazing I found the road noise was quite loud.
