Not sure where to start. I travel frequently and don’t usually write reviews. I’m not that picky but I know what basics should be available in a room. This was not it. Safety: No deadbolt. Just a simple lock with a key. The doors open to the outside. I bring safety alarms as a traveling woman. Good thing otherwise I would have not felt very secure. No ice that I could find. Front office is staffed 24/7 so couldn’t ask. Voicemail is full. Worse was the tangled mess of wires in an overloaded electrical outlet. What a mess. I’ll share photos if allowed further on this page. Dirty and scuffed walls. I can live with that but it doesn’t look pleasant. No real chair and the desk chair you can see the springs and it has duct tape on it. No where to actually sit except on the bed. Open closet aka just a bar with an old broom in the corner along with a portable floor AC unit with the outlet duct work on the top shelf. No floor rug (it was raining ) at the door. Room guide book we had to hunt for. Old and rumpled pages with outdated info for local restaurants. We paid 361.00 USD for 2 nights. The only good thing was the view of the ocean across the street and the chairs outside our door. All over dirty and mold in the shower grout and behind toilet. Dust on top of fridge. Heater didn’t work in the bathroom. Faucet in bathtub is loose. No cups in room for coffee. There isn’t a lot of choices on the Cabot trail and we booked late so this is partially my fault for booking late!

It was ok for a one night stay. But pricey for somewhere to lay your head. Our tub drain was clogged so water was collecting during shower. It is an older cottage. Cleaned as much as can be but could feel the age of it.
