Staff, one lady, she really does not like people Every question we asked was answered with either “No” or Google it We arrived at 2:00 AM because our flight was delayed. It was pitch dark, there was absolutely no one around to help, and we had to figure out how to get ourselves inside The next morning, we didn’t know breakfast was only served until 10:00 AM there was no sign or information explaining it We arrived around 10:00, only to have the very “lively” lady snap at us and start taking all the food away while we were standing there And the breakfast? Minimal at best Definitely nothing amazing The room was extremely Spartan, with not even a cabinet or proper space to put our clothes We tried asking for a taxi Google it Asked about the bus: Google it Asked where to go, where to eat, or what to do: Google it and try not to bother the staff

It's a gorgeous view of Mt. Pilatus, right by a bus stop.. It was nice to stay out of the city center, quieter and since we stayed during a heat wave it was cooler as well. The hotel is very cute.The breakfast was nice and coffee machine was wonderful. We loved that they provided a place to hang all of the towels to reuse. The bathroom area was nice. We stayed in the top family room during a heat wave. The room was not at all cool enough. Temperature by the ceiling beams was in the high 80s by our thermometer app. They had set up a portable aircon and turned it on before our arrival thank goodness. But it was too big of a room to be sufficiently cooled by one machine. The beams were in the photos, so we knew ahead of time, but it was constant reminders to duck and be careful. In retrospect I wish I had booked two rooms. The second bed is shoved into the wall, so the ceiling is just above you. There is no one working the front desk ever, it is digital check in/out. Which isn't a problem except when you need something. Our soap ran out and we had to ask the person working the restaurant. The shower ran hot/cold- we were taking cool showers because of the heat and it would suddenly turn hot, and freezing. Note that if you book the family room you have to use stairs-quite a few of them!, the elevator does not take you to your room.
