Exquisite property with ocean views and outstanding Michelin restaurant . We had the best meal of our trip there in the bar . Wish we could’ve stayed the whole week. Staff amazing as were our rooms. Hope some day to go back. I’ve traveled to six continents for my job and truly can say this was one of the loveliest places I’ve ever stayed.

Beautiful hotel located on the Dunmore bay. Our family room had a lovely view on the ocean. The room is peaceful and very big, with a separate space and a double bed for the kids. The hotel lobby and restaurant are well decorated and very cosy. We had dinner in the casual dining area. They should find another name because ’casual’ doesn’t do it justice: it’s lovely, cosy and the food is great. But most of all, the staff was really great: very professional and friendly. We’d all love to go back.

Wonderful position overlooking Clonakilty Bay. Cheerful and helpful receptionist on arrival. Rather distracted and uninterested receptionist on departure. Nice room, but a bit warm as no air conditioning. Good bar dinner and very nice grilled plaice with a poached egg for breakfast.

Lovely place overlooking the ocean. Staff are very helpful and pleasant. Rooms well appointed with comfortable beds, and bathroom was newly renovated. Our room overlooked the ocean so we had the would have waves to lull us to sleep. Breakfast was delicious with healthy choices. Service excellent. We will most definitely return.

There was no other ventilation and would’ve loved to have the sea air through the night and morning. It was loud in the room at night and in the morning. I was forgotten about whilst dining outside and it ruined the experience. The woman in reception was lovely. Beautiful property and visit was ok.

From the second we arrived to the moment we left we were exceptionally well treated. The food and drinks were fantastic. The room was immaculate and every aspect of our room was delightful. The Irish breakfast was genuinely one of the tastiest I've ever eaten.y wife had smoked salmon and scrambled egg and she was very satisfied with it. I would return there in a heartbeat. We wish we’d have stayed longer. We will definitely return. Highly recommended.

This property is in the middle of nowhere but right on the ocean. Our room had a partial view. Doesn’t seem that the hotels have air conditioning. Our room was right over the bar so it took some time to deal with the noise to get to sleep

We really liked the Dunmore House Hotel. Lovely setting off the beaten path. Staff helped us find lovely beaches east of the hotel. We also visited the Famine Museum, a worthwhile stop to educate us about the horrible famine of the 1840s. We had seen the Dombeg Circle, a highlight of our travels, on the day traveling to the Dunmore.
