Even on check out day, we could leave our luggage there and there was an extra room where you could take a shower and change before your flight. The staff was really friendly and helpful. We were even allowed to use the breakfast area at night. If you’re looking for a less touristic area, this is the right spot.

We loved our stay at Portview! Everything was spotless, the rooms were comfortable and quiet, the bed and pillows were excellent. The management had a complimentary bottle of wine and two big bottles of water in the room for us. There was also a small fridge, safe and dehumidifier in the room. Lots of restaurants nearby and less than a block away from the lovely Marsaxlokk harbor front and a bus stop. Breakfast was included and was excellent....coffee, juice, cold cuts, fruit, toast, cereal, yogurt and fresh baked mini croissants! Breakfast was served on a scenic terrace which was also a great place for afternoon coffee or tea. We would definitely stay here again!!

b&b confortevole in posizione comoda per raggiungere le località della zona. ambiente pulito e tranquillo. la nostra camera standard non era della metratura riportata sul sito, comunque di dimensioni più che accettabili. le finestre purtroppo davano su corti interne anguste e piene di tubi e cavi di ogni genere. bella la sala colazioni con veduta sul porto. buona la colazione. personale gentile e collaborativo.
b&b confortevole in posizione comoda per raggiungere le località della zona. ambiente pulito e tranquillo. la nostra camera standard non era della metratura riportata sul sito, comunque di dimensioni più che accettabili. le finestre purtroppo davano su corti interne anguste e piene di tubi e cavi di ogni genere. bella la sala colazioni con veduta sul porto. buona la colazione. personale gentile e collaborativo.

The market along the harbour and restaurants are easy walking distance from Port View Guest House. Check in and check out were smooth and easy. This was the cleanest hotel I've stayed in. I felt I was the first guest to stay in the room. Congratulations to the cleaners; job well done. The room was quiet and comfortable. Linens were superior, and towels were soft and plentiful—lots of closet space and shelves for belongings. The Marasklokk promenade is a few steps away. There are so many restaurants it is hard to choose. Go on Sunday for the huge street market featuring fresh seafood, baked goods, sweets, clothing, jewelry, household goods, and more. My only complaint is the lack of lights on the stairs in the early morning when I left for the airport. It was a bit scary. I will definitely stay here again.

I didn't like my experience based on the bed. I ordered "one queen bed" through Expedia and was given two smaller mattresses pushed together to try to make a queen size bed. Unfortunately the beds would seperate throughout the nights with multiple readjustments each night. If a hotel has a good bed then I am much more likely to let other things slide, but the bed (the main reason for the hotel room) was not satisfactory. I asked someone to come look at it and ask if there was a room with a queen size bed, there wasn't and all he told me to do was push them together, not the solution I was looking for. The Ac worked well, the breakfast was the basics with many options a short walk away if you'd prefer to eat something else. The area around the hotel is beautiful in the sun but after a few nights it felt fully explored. The rooms also had a VERY limited view, I thought with a name like Port View Guest House I would be able to see the port and ocean. There are some flys/mosquitoes in the area with a large beatle and small millipede also being noticed in our room, the room was fairly clean other than that.

We liked the guest house inside, our room was spacious and the beds were a good size, although the bathroom was small. The staff were very friendly and helpful and check in and check out was really easy. We didn’t love the location, we had booked a ‘sea view’ room, but you could only see the sea from the balcony, our room was overlooking the side street and it looked out onto a derelict building plot which was messy and dirty. It was a convenient location and you could reach the harbour really easily, so very quick to pop in and out. We were only here for 2 nights at the end of our trip as we spent most of it on Gozo and we wanted to see a bit of Malta before we left, I think in hindsight one night here would have been enough, it would be easy to see this area and fit in a boat trip etc in one day.

We had a lovely stay at the Port View. Jennella (apologies for the spelling) Charmaine and Carole were super friendly and very helpful. The bed was very comfortable, and the A/C was a blessing! Breakfast was good and had everything you needed to set you up for the day. Although we arrived late at night, we’d let the hotel know, so check in was easy and our keycard waiting for us!

Even on check out day, we could leave our luggage there and there was an extra room where you could take a shower and change before your flight. The staff was really friendly and helpful. We were even allowed to use the breakfast area at night. If you’re looking for a less touristic area, this is the right spot.

Quant au reste ne mérite pas ses étoiles et sa bonne note.Arrives à 17h59, nous avons trouvé porte close et les directives données au téléphone étaient quasi incompréhensibles et fort peu aimables. Heureusement dépannés par des résidents qui sortaient. Petit déjeuner correct mais sans plus. Dans la chambre, de bonne taille , nombreux accessoires à revoir: poignée de douche, fenêtre de la salle de bain, lunette de wc, support mural de douche. . Bref , excellente situation mais grande déception pour le reste compte tenu du Prix et de la note. Une bouteille de vin offerte mais cela ne dispense pas d’un minimum d’accueil.

We loved our stay at Portview! Everything was spotless, the rooms were comfortable and quiet, the bed and pillows were excellent. The management had a complimentary bottle of wine and two big bottles of water in the room for us. There was also a small fridge, safe and dehumidifier in the room. Lots of restaurants nearby and less than a block away from the lovely Marsaxlokk harbor front and a bus stop. We were welcomed very warmly at Port View and, throughout our stay, nothing was too much trouble. It is a delightful warm, comfortable and ultra clean place.in a quiet street just up from the harbour. Everything has been well thought out and all sorts of little details added. We were even welcomed with a complimentary bottle of wine and bottle of water on arrival, so kind and generous. The owner is very friendly in the best possible way and offered us any tips we wanted on the local area.

We had a lovely stay at the Port View. Jennella (apologies for the spelling) Charmaine and Carole were super friendly and very helpful. The bed was very comfortable, and the A/C was a blessing! Breakfast was good and had everything you needed to set you up for the day. Although we arrived late at night, we’d let the hotel know, so check in was easy and our keycard waiting for us!

We liked the guest house inside, our room was spacious and the beds were a good size, although the bathroom was small. The staff were very friendly and helpful and check in and check out was really easy. We didn’t love the location, we had booked a ‘sea view’ room, but you could only see the sea from the balcony, our room was overlooking the side street and it looked out onto a derelict building plot which was messy and dirty. It was a convenient location and you could reach the harbour really easily, so very quick to pop in and out. We were only here for 2 nights at the end of our trip as we spent most of it on Gozo and we wanted to see a bit of Malta before we left, I think in hindsight one night here would have been enough, it would be easy to see this area and fit in a boat trip etc in one day.

Es waren alle Mitarbeiter sehr sympathisch und haben uns gute Tipps gegeben für Ausflüge und Restaurants. Es waren alle Restaurants hervorragend. Das Guest House liegt 2 minuten von der Hauptstrasse und Restaurants entfernt. Am Wochenden haben wir den Fischmarkt besucht. Es ist nicht besornders gross aber ein Besuch wert. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Port View Guest House is in a great location and easy to find off the main road along the harbour. The building and room are clean, modern and spacious. The building even has an elevator. The market along the harbour and restaurants are easy walking distance from Port View Guest House. Check in and check out were smooth and easy. I would recommend Port View Guest House to anyone looking to stay in Marsaxlokk or wanting to visit the surrounding area. I would happily stay here again!

b&b confortevole in posizione comoda per raggiungere le località della zona. ambiente pulito e tranquillo. la nostra camera standard non era della metratura riportata sul sito, comunque di dimensioni più che accettabili. le finestre purtroppo davano su corti interne anguste e piene di tubi e cavi di ogni genere. bella la sala colazioni con veduta sul porto. buona la colazione. personale gentile e collaborativo.

We had a lovely, well kept room 1 block away from the Port. Eady walking distance to restaurants. What's Ap communication were answered promptly. We were able to find street parking. Lovely, colorful port.

The room was clean however the bathroom was not to good standards. The drainage for the sink and the shower were awful. Every time we showered, the dirty water was up to our ankles as the drain was blocked. Similarly, when brushing our teeth, the sink would not drain.

The self check in, no staff on site experience, was challenging, especially downloading your passports via phone in a foreign country. It did work. There is a lot of construction near by. Our pick up van couldn't even get through the street and had to back up the entire street to get out. Lucky it was 4 AM. Parking really isn't even available. We left too early to take advantage of the breakfast. This is a bed and breakfast. It was clean and quiet (Sunday night) and served the purpose for one night close to the market and airport. The heat did work (early March) and there was no additional cost.
