Positives Great friendly staff , very clean good breakfast and club access with unlimited drinks and snacks was a very nice .. touch ! location of hotel was really. Central for St Julian’s and had good amenities..gym swimming pool was decent ! Parking was tight but good as we had a hired car..and was free Negatives View from the hotel was not nice..but again you cannot.blame the hotel for that And also the TV doesn’t natively allowing streaming from your phone , it allows YouTube and Netflix sign in only unlike most Hyatt world app with allows you to mirror ! They were kind enough to plug in a HDMI cable for us ..to use , but they stopped working after the first night ! Also periodically there was a really bad smell , a bit like sewage not sure if it was the area or the location of our room ! We were on the 9th floor .. but that was a bit off putting from time to time ! The hotel is just about 1 year old .. but we will definitely consider coming back here .. This is our first trip to Malta in over 25 years ! We had been 3 times prior

The facilities were good apart from use of Jacuzzi and Sauna. Sauna was not in operation throughout our stay and Jacuzzi was working only one day during our stay. This was disappointing as we booked because of these added facilities as advertised.

Roof pool needs some type of barrier other than just glass panels , to disguise how high it actually is . 2 people in my group who are terrified of heights couldn’t use it. But if the height & drop were less obvious & concealed in some way, they would have attempted to actually venture out of the lift instead of being frozen in fear.

Very nice high standard hotel, only one year old. Had a nice one bedroom suite with lounge access. Only minor thing that was a bit disappointing was the fact that the lounge only had food from 5-7 p.m. otherwise everything high standard. Great location, close to the heart of St Julians but quiet, and close to transport. The hotel is very clean and the facilities are really nice, specially the pool and spa. The breakfast was very good and they go the extra mile to cater for dietary requirements. All the staff is super helpful and provides great service, special thanks to Angel (cleaning), Arjun (breakfast) and Shivam (reception). Although the room was amazing we were facing a corner wall and had no natural light coming in (would have been even a better experience with a different view).

Absolutely no complaints at all. Great stay perfect for a short break. Walking distance to promenade with access to the bays and sea front. Also close to party area Paceville - if that’s your thing! Close to bus routes to Valletta with brilliant bus service and is only 3 euros. Breakfast plentiful and lovely omelettes! Lovely indoor and rooftop pool and cool little Technogym. Shout out to the chap that helps with luggage during check in and out - very helpful and friendly a credit to the hotel. Would certainly recommend if visiting Malta. Missing already!

we were upgraded to a deluxe room and check-in an hour early.The immediate surroundings is still undergoing development. Reception was very welcoming and warm on arrrival. The hotel has lots of positives- the rooftop pool is very well set up with beds a plenty and a good supply of quality towels. Breakfast offers a good variety and the honeycomb is a delightful addition. Our room was spacious and the beds comfortable and the bathroom well equipped. Housekeeping was not of the standard we'd expect from a 5 star hotel- bin not emptied, cups not cleaned, we had to ask for shower products and water to be topped up, balcony table was dirty over the duration of our stay, food left in the corridor from another room for 24hrs

Wir haben zu unserer schon günstigen Buchung (Vorsaison) dann noch ein Upgrate bekommen und hatten damit eine super tolle Familien-Suite. Alles super ausgestattet, vom Fön, über Safe und Kaffee-Bar. Kinden fanden natürlich die zwei Pools toll und uns Eltern gefiel die Sauna. Roomservice war sehr diskret und die Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt. Frühstücksbuffet war sehr reichhaltig und der Service war sehr aufmerksam und höflich. Rezeption war immer bestrebt alle Wünsche der Gäste zu erfüllen. Es war ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Wir kommen gern mal wieder...

The hotel is well run and the staff are very good. The food is decent but not great and expensive. Rooms are ok but very small. Sound insulation is really bad. Pool is tiny and very overcrowded. The area is awful. It's in a dodgy nightclub area and in the morning they wash the urine and vomit down the street. It gathers in pools and eventually runs onto the beach at the bottom of the hill. I certainly wouldn't go back there.

Small things about our room, like no power point near enough to any mirror made it a little difficult with so many girls to get ready. Poor lighting in the rooms. Nothing to watch on any of their tv channels, breakfast was the same for the 5 days we were there and they only had lactose free options for 1 of those days. Overall a nice enough hotel!

The hotel itself was amazing.clean and spacious , the pool space inside and out were very good and the staff were friendly to deal with. Breakfast was also very good.We stopped 5 nights. The issue we had was, our family room was room 814 directly under the club lounge, the club lounge only did food and drink from 10am-3p.m and 5-7p.m. But the noise coming from the lounge throughout the night was unreal, think the cleaning of it started around 10pm till after midnight , and started again around 5.30-6am, on two occasions we were woken at around 2am from noise coming from there. It was scraping of tables and chairs across the tiled floor and the constant dropping of things. If we managed to get a full night sleep there would be nothing to fault about this hotel but that didn't happen.

The vast majority of rooms in this hotel face a wall about 1-2 meters away from the building. It's a terrible experience. Avoid odd-numbered rooms from 07 onwards. It's completely dark, especially on the lower floors. This shouldn't happen in a 5-star hotel.

The staff are exceptional, always there to help. Thea from reception when above and beyond to call my car hire company for me, Sai Krishner (sorry if not spelt correctly!) even wrote the recipe for me to recreate one of his amazing dips from the club lounge. Thank you to all the Hyatt staff you were all brilliant! Rooms were lovely, sleek and modern, pool area was great to chill around. They can't do enough for you.

It’s a nice newly built hotel. Interior design is modern. You can’t go wrong with this choice. It’s worth noting, that, although the staff is friendly and customer oriented, it’s not on the level of those classical 5-star hotels. However, we’ve seen this throughout Malta and likely relate to a shortage of staff is our conclusion. Most hotel workers come from other countries. One night we had dinner at the Jumu restaurant and we were not impressed by the quality of food; fish of the day was dry and chewy. For the rest all good and a good hotel to stay at.

Great pool upstairs, nice restaurant, friendly staff and very helpful. The food was good and the drinks even better! Walkable to all things st. Julian’s, so many places to eat and shop… the room itself was so pleasant. Very new and clean and the daily cleaning was well done. The front desk staff were absolutely wonderful. Overall 10/10.

Das Hotel ist super und das Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Sehr umfangreiches Frühstücksangebot mit nahezu allem was das Herz begehrt sowie toller Pool, In- und Outdoor. Das Hotel liegt Central am Anfang der Partymeile was ab Donnerstag bis Sonntagabend auch deutlich bis spät in die Nacht zu hören ist. Leider ist gegenüber dem Hotel eine Großbaustelle die sicherlich noch das ganze Jahr 2025 bestehen wird und erheblichen Lärm, auch Samstags ab 7 Uhr, verursacht. Wer ein tolles Stadthotel sucht und sich nicht daran stört, dass es am Wochenende ziemlich ab geht ist im Hyatt Central gut aufgehoben. Bis auf die Geräuschkulisse rundrum ein klasse Hotel.

It was glorious! Fantastic rooftop pool, gorgeous 24/7 indoor pool and hot tub. Breakfast was a feast every morning (but be prepared to briefly queue at busy times). Staff were so friendly and helpful. Room was great as a base. No balcony or view but that didn't matter to us. St Julian's was a great base from which to explore the island.

Das Personal ist aber äußerst kompetent und freundlich! Das Gym war mit modernen Geräten ausgestattet und der Indoor- wie der Outdoor Pool geheizt. Es steht eine Sauna bereit, die jedoch nicht meinen Ansprüchen entspricht. Leider saugt sich das Holz mit Poolwasser voll. Uns hat es insgesamt sehr gut gefallen und wir würden wieder kommen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat gestimmt.

Absolutely no complaints at all. Great stay perfect for a short break. Walking distance to promenade with access to the bays and sea front. Also close to party area Paceville - if that’s your thing! Close to bus routes to Valletta with brilliant bus service and is only 3 euros. Breakfast plentiful and lovely omelettes! Lovely indoor and rooftop pool and cool little Technogym. Shout out to the chap that helps with luggage during check in and out - very helpful and friendly a credit to the hotel. Would certainly recommend if visiting Malta. Missing already!
