Hotel Valentina

Great service from all the staff and the hotel was clean and well presented. Rooftop pool was lovely but did get very busy and would be great if the bar opened a bit earlier at 10am. On the edge of a lively area, the clientele are quite young and it can be noisy at night. If sensitive to that take earplugs!

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately, there is building work near the hotel but this is out of their control. The rooms are spacious and super clean with a beautiful design. The balcony had a lovely view however was a little small but this isn't an issue for us. The room came with both AC & a fan which is a must for 30 degree weather. All staff are extremely helpful and helped with luggage storage for our bags after checkout (with a ticketing system! Such a simple yet effective system). The pool area is beautiful and sun lounges double up as seating for late night visits to the pool area - with a bar :) The lifts are keycard activated and there's security at the front door to help keep out riff raff. We also ordered room service and my girlfriend is still going on about how good the apple juice was. The food was delightful - our first time getting room service. Unfortunately I can't speak for the restaurant as we didn't eat here but I assume it would be just as good. The restaurant also has a lovely view over the front lounge. Being in the heart of St Julians, we were worried about loud parties, etc however the sound isolation was superior and we had no issues with this our whole stay. Overall I'm happy we spent the little bit extra per night to stay here over some of the cheaper options (The reviews speak for themselves) What a fantastic experience.

Hotel was great with a pool on the roof with great views. I just didn’t realize it was party central in that area all night long. Young kids drinking everywhere at night. Other than that, it was great with an easy walk to the public bus to get to Valletta. Staff was very nice and very helpful. They also had free parking under the building in their garage which was very convenient.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The lobby and the room were both very clean and gave a sense of comfort. I appreciated the secure auto-lock system, the reliable internet connection, the dining facilities, and the rooftop pool. The location was also excellent, with convenient access to transportation. I did not find any particular negative points during my stay.

The hotel is really nice and modern, in a great central location. Room was spotless, the bed was super comfy, and the shower was great. The pool area looks fantastic too and is a nice spot to relax. That said, a few things did take away from the stay. The pool itself was cold, which was a shame. Noise was a big issue — loud rooftop music until 11pm on weekends, and then construction work next door kicking off at 7am with lots of banging, so sleep was pretty tough. Also, you’re not allowed to bring your room towel to the pool, and instead have to pick up a pool towel from reception and leave a €10 deposit, which just felt like a bit of a hassle. Overall, it’s a clean, comfortable, and well-located hotel, but the noise and a couple of little annoyances definitely made it less relaxing than I’d hoped.

Lovely hotel, a lot of building work going on in the vicinity but you couldn't hear it when the balcony doors were shut, very clean and staff very courteous, only negatives, pool a bit small to swim in especially as very busy and shallow. The tea bags were not replenished in the room, we had to keep asking and it would have been nice if the complimentary water was not just for the 1st day. Overall though a great hotel and location is handy to get to the beach and local transport, buses and amenities etc.

Lovely modern hotel, very comfortable and with good facilities. All of the staff were kind and helpful. We loved the rooftop pool.

I liked the swimming pool the underground parking and the staff were very helpful. The triple room though was a bit small for 3 beds and no light above the 3rd bed squeezed in to the room.

Hall Dell hotel davvero fantastica! Accogliente e il più delle volte ci piaceva rilassarci proprio lì. Colazione abbondanti e tutto lo Staff della colazione impeccabile e gentile. Per le pulizie in stanza peccano un po'.

Great welcome , friendly and informative reception staff. Decor is modern, clean and inviting. Need room key to operate lift. Little terrace out front for drinks etc. room was very spacious for three adults . Separate toilet and shower rooms . Spotlessly clean and well serviced. Iron , ironing board , tea /coffee facilities . Staff were all very friendly and professional. Well located for the purpose of our stay Will def return

Das Zimmer war wunderwunderschön!!!! Tolle Farbkombination, alles hervorragend abgestimmt. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Das Bad mit freistehender Wanne...

The hotel was alright, but the construction site noise & drilling from early morning to evening ruined my stay, litterally! The room was modern and clean but much smaller than expected. The pool was also much smaller than expected, only 55cms high, which I thought was a bit laughable! The staff was very attentive, but once I asked for a plate and cuttleries and they told me it would be charged as 2EUR for the room service. Finally, that was not charged but I paid 3.50EUR of eco-tax, at the end of my stay, which I thought was very random. I wanted to use a scale to weigh my luggage but I was told we have to pay to use it .. My room had a small balcony that I couldn't enjoy much because of the heavy construction works just next to the hotel. Beware that at night, given the very central location, you will hear many youngsters / irresponsible adults screaming out of drunkness which was very irritating.

Triple room was great- nice and spacious for 3 travellers. Hotel was clean and easy to get to - great amenities close by.

Currently has construction going on around the hotel so it’s very noisy, woken up by drilling at 7:30am on holiday, not fun. Rooms quite small. Central location for bus routes. If you don’t drink alcohol, you get 1 mocktail (stingy) instead of bottle of Prosecco. Overall, fair stay. May 2024

Upgrade to the junior suite if you can! Room was great. Good location for the area, but can be noisy at night with people and construction in the AM.

The hotel claims to have sound proof windows, but it’s not true. We could hear everything that was happening outside. The WORST part is the construction next door that apparently has been going on for six months. They start using the jack hammer at 7:30 AM till 5:30 PM, plus the noise outside is loud until 4:00 AM, so NO SLEEP! It’s so unfortunate because the hotel in it of itself is very pretty. We will not be returning to this property.

Clean rooms, breakfast was tasty with a good selection of food. Staff helpful. However location was very loud which meant difficult to sleep due to the noise levels.

Müşteri memnuniyeti kapsamında bütün dünyada odalar müsait olduğunda müşteriye teslim edilir. 15 Euro öderseniz erken odaya girebilirsiniz denmesi bence uygun bir davranış değil. Genel olarak otel güzel. Boş odaya para istenmesi beni rahatsız etti. Resepsiyonun bunu biz sormadan söylemesi uygun değil

Very good customer service and the staff are very welcoming and helpful.

Nice hotel, very clean and conveniently placed for business district, generally friendly welcome, let down by male reception staff who simply have zero customer service skill, and on two occasions very arrogant. Cleaner was the polar opposite could not be more helpful. Would stay again

Helpful and kind personell when I got sick

Thank you to Simona! Super helpful and nice, great service. She made my stay the best that it could be. Overall great hotel, prime location and nice rooftop pool area. My only complaint is, when checking in my name and room number was called out by the lady that checked me in. As a solo female travel I do not like this for safety purposes and the lady did not take my concerns seriously as she did not want to change my room or apologise when I pointed this out. However Simonas great service the following day change my mind of the hotel.

The hotel staff were friendly, professional and gave us ideas on different sights to see and explore the island. Checking in there was an issue with bed which I requested 2 beds and again wasn’t communicated by Expedia as per front desk but was immediately resolved.(VIP access disappointing-Expedia customer service). The hotel is a walking distance to dining/entertainment/shopping and few sights. Breakfast could have been better with few options and a bit salty. The room size is okay and was kept clean.

Simone in particular was very helpful and helped us prepare an itinerary for our stay in Malta. And I still can’t believe this, Hotel is actually listed as a three star, the lobby and surrounding areas are great and could easily pass as a four star. The location is also incredible being in the heart of Saint Julians bay. I would highly recommend staying here.

Por favor leia até o final! O hotel se considera um hotel 4 estralas, mas precisa de muitas melhorias para ser! Primeiro, vamos as céticas! Primeiramente, um hotel 4 entregas não tem uma gerente de recepção como a Franchesca , uma pessoa que segue regras e protocolos, sem nenhum senso de como flexibilidade e gentileza. Cheguei ao hotel às 13:30 e ela me cobrou 15 euros para fazer early check in, sendo que as 15 seria o horário exato e já tinha um quarto disponível. Disse que essa era a política do hotel e que hotéis 4 estrelas seguem esse padrão! Já estive em hotéis 4, 5, 6 estrelas e nunca me cobraram nada se o quarto estava disponível! Após dizer que eu iria fazer minhas revisões negativas nos sites, ela resolveu liberar um quarto e up grade , café e pro seco como cortesia! Porém, me troquei no banheiro comum do hotel e só fiz check in após o horário de volta do meu passeio. Além disso, para mim um hotel 4 estrelas tem room service, freegobar disponível e vc é cobrado após, pessoas que carregam sua mala desde a entrada até seu quarto, uma pessoa no bar da piscina e outra no bar do lounge e etc! Esse hotel não tem! Além disso, fica em uma região ainda em desenvolvimento! Porém, vamos as qualidades! Fora a pessoa comentada , os demais funcionários sãos ótimos! Impecáveis em educação e profissionalismo! Quarto confortável, limpo, cheiroso, novo, ótima localização, perto de ponto de ônibus e de locais de interesse em Saint Julinans ! Café da manhã ótimo!

Lovely hotel in great location near coast and shopping and restaurants and bars spoilt for choice!

There is an active construction site right next to the property, If you wish to sleep past 8am I suggest finding a different hotel.

This property is in an excellent location. Rooms are updated and comfortable. Walkable to several restaurants, malls, and convenience stores. Rooftop swimming pool with bar and food service. The only downside is the young club vibe and techno clubs close by. So if you are looking for peace and quiet away from teens this isn’t for you

Well appointed hotel and professional staff. The area is convenient to transport and shopping at the Mercury Center; however the proximity to the ordinary and overcrowded St Julian area is deplorable! No redeeming value of the cheap & ordinary tourism which radiates to the area. Would not go back to Malta! Its history is the crossroads of civilizations; but it’s not attracting the best class of visitors.

Very nice hotel in great location. It's in a quieter area but you only 5min walk from quiet marina or busy party area, the choice is yours. Hotel was very clean and staff extremely nice and helpful. We stayed is 7th floor and had a bit of the sea view. Hotel has 3 floor underground parking as well, so handy if you planning to hire the car.

Great hotel - in the heart of it all! It can get a bit noisy but it's normal city type noises

We just stayed for the night but I wish we stayed longer! The staff was very welcoming and friendly when we checked in. The hotel room itself was clean, great AC, comfy beds and great layout. The breakfast had plenty of options and was well stocked. I absolutely recommend this hotel.

This hotel is fantastic value for money. The cleaners keep it really clean, staff are friendly and the pool is really nice. The area is not brilliant but for its proximity to nightlife while away from the main noise, you can’t go wrong. Breakfast was a bit rubbish but loads of places nearby.

What's not to like about this property? I could not believe it is rated as 3star. Although the room was quite small, it was comfortable and modern - seemed newly refurbished (same with the shower room). Lots of choice for bfast and all tasted great. It is really conveniently located in a bustling area full of bars and restaurants. There were some roadworks nearby but I could not really hear them from my room. The staff were all extremely helpful and go out of their way to assist. Food at The Avenue - the restaurant affiliated with the hotel - was delicious and well-priced.
