The hotel surprised us as it was much nicer than the pictures appeared and we had access to swimming pool, gym and sauna for free. They also allowed us to store our luggage in a secure room before and after check-in time. Very good location, close to the shops and bars but not too close that it’s noisy.

Nous avons passé un super séjour entre amis à l’hôtel Verdi St-Georges ! Nous avions une chambre pour 4 personnes avec deux grands lits Queen Size, parfaite pour 5 nuits : confortable, spacieuse et très bien équipée. L’emplacement est top, à deux pas du centre-ville et de la plage, tout se fait facilement à pied. Le personnel a été vraiment agréable et à l’écoute, malgré quelques petites difficultés de langue (anglais/français), ils ont toujours fait preuve de patience et de compréhension. Le petit-déjeuner est un vrai plus : complet, varié, et très bon. Par contre, petit conseil, mieux vaut y aller avant 9h car après, c’est vite bondé. Et que dire de l’espace bien-être situé dans un bâtiment annexe… SPA, piscine intérieure/extérieure, jacuzzi et sauna : un vrai moment de détente, idéal après une journée bien remplie. C’est clairement un des gros points forts de l’hôtel ! Je recommande sans hésiter 👌

Fantastic stay. The facilities are amazing with so many different areas you can explore. We could easily have stayed at the hotel the whole day and not gone into town. The breakfast was great with a range of hot cooked food, and the setting was superb with outdoor dining. Our room was spacious although some of the decor is a bit old fashioned, but everything was clean. We got a free bottle of wine which was a very nice touch, and we also enjoyed the terrace in the evening and the morning. The service was polite and professional. There are also many restaurants to choose from. We didn't want to leave!

The hotel has three shared pools with its neighbouring hotel (one of which is adult only) and access directly to the sea. It has several in site restaurants, a cafe and bars. We only ate in the restaurant once for dinner and it was expensive and pretty average. The breakfast buffet is ok - decent variety, but awful coffee, so we ended up using the hotel cafe each morning. We had a superior sea view room, which was spacious and well equipped, but be aware these rooms can be on the ground floor with people walking directly past your patio and able to see into our room. On the other side of the hotel is a large building site where other hotels are being constructed. We didn’t hear any noise from this (no work at night) but I imagine if your room faces it it’s less appealing. The staff were very helpful, particularly the manager, and arranged for us to be moved when there was an issue with our room. Finally, we had not realised when we booked that a few hundred metres away is Paceville, which is the party capital of Malta. Think Magaluf, with fewer Brits and more Europeans - hordes of 16-25 year olds, banging bass music, discarded pizza and rubbish everywhere in the morning. The Maltese do a good job of cleaning it up quickly, and it’s a very good natured scene, but you can definitely hear the music from the beach bars in your hotel room at night - and it goes on until about 6 am. So bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. Overall, a lovely holiday and a good hotel.

Great hotel. Big room, clean and accommodating. Breakfast good, plenty of choice. Wide selection of restaurants on the hotel site and reasonably priced. Short walk to loads of bars and restaurants of all types and sizes. Pool is lovely and can even get into the sea as well.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und die Zimmer wurden täglich sauber gereinigt. Auch die ganze Hotelanlage war sauber, allerdings ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Das grosse Frühstücksbuffet hat für alle etwas zu bieten und auch die hoteleigenen Restaurants sind sehr empfehlenswert. Das Hotel liegt an der Bucht des St. Georges Bay und verfügt über mehrer Pools und einen Privatstrand. Es ist vom Partylärm etwas abgeschieden, aber dennoch erreicht man das Zentrum von St. Julian's mit den zahlreichen Bars und dem aufregenden Nachtleben innerhalb 5 Gehminuten.

The staff is nice but the hotel needs to be upgraded and have better staffing for housekeeping. The rooms are nice but older with only one useable outlet away from the beds. No usb charging. Bathroom had what looked like mold due to the bathroom door not being able to stay open thus trapping the heat in there. Toliet required multiple pull of the handle to flush properly. Rooms on the 1st and 2nd floor are below the reception floor. The first floor is the basement level. The hallway smells of dirty cleaning products and you walk.out of the elevators and are greeted to the view of a kitchen. The hallways are dark and feels like you are on a cruiseship. The balconies on the first floor are level with people walking by and able to climb in if they wanted to. Not a nice feeling or view. Second floor is a bit better since people can't just climb into your balcony. The lounge chairs in front of some of the rooms is not part of the hotel but instead for EF company. So there will be a bunch of young students outside your balcony that aren't hotel guest and hotel guests can't access that area even though it's in front of your room. Housekeeping needs to be better managed. One day they knocked on out door at 8:30am to clean the room. Another day we left at 8:30 am and came back at 3pm to a room that still hadn't been cleaned. There excuse was that they were fully booked and prioritized rooms that were being turned over. This poor scheduling of staff or they are short staffed.

Mooie maar erg gedateerde kamer waardoor het ook niet overal schoon leek. housekeeping erg vriendelijk maar wij hadden het idee dat met name de vloer niet echt schoon gemaakt werd. overig personeel ook allen zeer vriendelijk.ligging op loopafstand van Baystreet. net uit de drukte. Prima faciliteiten alleen moest je daarvoor buiten om lopen. Makkelijk onder het hotel parkeren voor maar 3 euro per dag. Hotel is zeker een aanrader!

The hotel is very outdated, it is max 3 stars. Rooms are old, broken tiles, stains in the room and all over the hotel carpets. Cleaners do not collect dirty cups left in the lobby by hotel guests for days. Average customer service - I was supposed to get a free bottle of wine, which never came. Breakfast is not fresh and below average, eggs are like plastic. The only good thing about the hotel is the location and nice sea view of you get the room with the sea view.

Every single member of staff was polite, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone had a genuine smile on their face. Room was lovely and clean and the breakfast was excellent. We tried three of the restaurants and they were all good but the Italian we visited twice as the service and food were superb.

The hallway smells of dirty cleaning products and you walk.out of the elevators and are greeted to the view of a kitchen. The hallways are dark and feels like you are on a cruiseship. The balconies on the first floor are level with people walking by and able to climb in if they wanted to. Not a nice feeling or view. Second floor is a bit better since people can't just climb into your balcony. The lounge chairs in front of some of the rooms is not part of the hotel but instead for EF company. So there will be a bunch of young students outside your balcony that aren't hotel guest and hotel guests can't access that area even though it's in front of your room. Housekeeping needs to be better managed. One day they knocked on out door at 8:30am to clean the room. Another day we left at 8:30 am and came back at 3pm to a room that still hadn't been cleaned. There excuse was that they were fully booked and prioritized rooms that were being turned over. This poor scheduling of staff or they are short staffed.

Nous avons passé un super séjour entre amis à l’hôtel Verdi St-Georges ! Nous avions une chambre pour 4 personnes avec deux grands lits Queen Size, parfaite pour 5 nuits : confortable, spacieuse et très bien équipée. L’emplacement est top, à deux pas du centre-ville et de la plage, tout se fait facilement à pied. Le personnel a été vraiment agréable et à l’écoute, malgré quelques petites difficultés de langue (anglais/français), ils ont toujours fait preuve de patience et de compréhension. Le petit-déjeuner est un vrai plus : complet, varié, et très bon. Par contre, petit conseil, mieux vaut y aller avant 9h car après, c’est vite bondé. Et que dire de l’espace bien-être situé dans un bâtiment annexe… SPA, piscine intérieure/extérieure, jacuzzi et sauna : un vrai moment de détente, idéal après une journée bien remplie. C’est clairement un des gros points forts de l’hôtel ! Je recommande sans hésiter 👌

Room was clean and plenty of towels. The hotel and sister hotels were very large and spread out. Great access to the many areas - pools, lounges, restaurants. Be aware that the property is a labyrinth. Staff is very helpful and friendly. I particularly had a great experience at the Italian restaurant with the manager for the evening. Downside and just a note for front desk. I was given a room on the first floor. (Two floors below main reception area. I would have appreciated awareness from the front desk person that I was a solo female traveler and putting me essentially on the ground floor was not considered. The room was secured but I could not keep the patio door open when I was in the bathroom or dressing. People walking by had full view of my room so I had to keep the drapes drawn often. Made me feel a little less comfortable having to consider all these things while in the room.

I stayed at this hotel with my daughter. The hotel is located at a good location and walkable to many food options and a small beach area to a bay. The room was of average quality. The bed wasn’t comfortable and it was quite hot in the room so had to keep our patio door open for fresh air. The room temperature becomes quite hot and the hotel doesn’t turn in AC due to spring weather. They should revisit these policies so that guests are not uncomfortable. I heard that from multiple families. We ordered food also couple of times and it took forever to get the food and it was average quality.

The hotel was good value. Staff were friendly. The room was very clean and a decent size. The balcony was lovely. The only downsides were that we were in quite a party area and the noise was continuous through the night, sometimes until 5am. There was also no working A/C meaning that the room was very warm.

The hotel has three shared pools with its neighbouring hotel (one of which is adult only) and access directly to the sea. It has several in site restaurants, a cafe and bars. We only ate in the restaurant once for dinner and it was expensive and pretty average. The breakfast buffet is ok - decent variety, but awful coffee, so we ended up using the hotel cafe each morning. We had a superior sea view room, which was spacious and well equipped, but be aware these rooms can be on the ground floor with people walking directly past your patio and able to see into our room. On the other side of the hotel is a large building site where other hotels are being constructed. We didn’t hear any noise from this (no work at night) but I imagine if your room faces it it’s less appealing. The staff were very helpful, particularly the manager, and arranged for us to be moved when there was an issue with our room. Finally, we had not realised when we booked that a few hundred metres away is Paceville, which is the party capital of Malta. Think Magaluf, with fewer Brits and more Europeans - hordes of 16-25 year olds, banging bass music, discarded pizza and rubbish everywhere in the morning. The Maltese do a good job of cleaning it up quickly, and it’s a very good natured scene, but you can definitely hear the music from the beach bars in your hotel room at night - and it goes on until about 6 am. So bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. Overall, a lovely holiday and a good hotel.

Excellent Stay at Verdi St Georges Bay Marina I recently stayed at Verdi St Georges Bay Marina in Malta for 8 days, and it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome with their outstanding hospitality and service. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with clean and comfortable rooms that offer stunning views of the marina. The location is perfect, providing easy access to local attractions and the vibrant nightlife of St. George's Bay. What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. All the staff was great,friendly and helped if you had a problem. Mickel was great,we had a issue he sorted it straight away.The rooms was cleaned daily, but it could do with a bit of TLC. I am coeliac felt very safe eating the Breakfast buffet.

On checkin I was not satisfied with one of the two rooms as I had booked rooms with a seaview and one of the rooms I was given had a partial view to the side of the hotel. This was rectified immediately with the utmost professionalism and I was allocated a room with a seaview and 10 mins later a bottle of wine and cake was bought to our room as an apology which was really appreciated . All the staff were polite , attentive , cheerful and professional , Solange on reception was excellent greeted us every morning with a smile . Nothing was too much trouble. Room service from Cafe 24 was excellent , great snack menu and quick. Fabulous restaurants around the hotel and neighbouring hotel ( they are the same group) to choose from . Our rooms were cleaned daily and were spotless and sheets changed regularly, Pool area was lovely , choice of 5 pools !! Breakfast was a buffet with lots of choice , hot and cold which we had each morning on the lovely terrace looking out to sea .St Julians is a lively area , but the hotel is just set at the end of the peninsular just a 3 minute walk away, just far enough away . Whilst there maybe a few things to update around the hotel, the lack of a working safe in the bedroom, but it is still very much a lovely place to stay and we will definitely return

I was absolutely overwhelmed from beginning to end. What a warm welcome. Even the hotel manager came out to shake hands and exchange a few words. Due to low-season I also received an upgrade. And every day a new water bottle in tge room. A stay that couldn't be any better.

Already the welcome upon my arrival was exceptional. Super kind receptionist! And I was also greeted with a hand shake by the hotel manager Mickel. Due to low season I received a very much apprechiated upgrade. The room was big, had a king sized bed, plenty of pillows, big bathroom, balcony with lovely view over the bay. All the staff is so overwhelmingly kind. Usually I do not write reviews. I wrote this one because it comes from my heart.

Every single member of staff was polite, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone had a genuine smile on their face. Room was lovely and clean and the breakfast was excellent. We tried three of the restaurants and they were all good but the Italian we visited twice as the service and food were superb.

We book the hotel via Expedia; the hotel picture shown in the app and description was for the main hotel but we actually had to stay in the old little Verdi hotel which was not the standard I expected. It was clearly cheating and Expedia was not transparent about the hotel accommodation. The staff was not welcoming we had to wait 48 hour for our triple room to be allocated to us. First night my friend had to sleep on a child bed. We been allocated triple room but the reception made a mistake and gave keys for the already occupied room! Which was terrible. Refill of Towels water and tea coffee was for two when we had a triple room. No housekeeping supervision and felt as adequate training of the staff. Will not recommend this hotel to anyone. Very disappointing. Urge Expedia to provide correct details of the corinthia verdy instead of new main hotel on their website and would like some competition for the inconvenience it caused to our trip.

This was my third stay at the Verdi, St. Georges Bay. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. They are always smiling. Always willing to help. Breakfast was plentiful with choices for all.. I would have liked more fresh fruit but sitting on the terrace looking out to sea is a perfect way to start the day. My room was large with a wonderful sea view balcony. It was cleaned each day, often whilst l was at breakfast, to a very high standard. There is building work going on across the road from the front entrance but this did not impact on my stay as the rooms are at the back of the building overlooking the bay and out to sea. Numerous very good restaurants are within a 5 minute walk and there is a bus stop outside the hotel if you wish to go further afield. St Georges bay has a sandy beach, rare in Malta and there is a dive centre for the more adventurous. There is a casino and several clubs within easy walking distance. Far enough away to not disturb the hotel's residents but there if you want them. Some people have mentioned that the rooms look "tired". I would agree with this but to me cleanliness is far more important than the latest colour on the walls! A comfy bed and good blackout curtains more important than shiny new furniture.

The hotel surprised us as it was much nicer than the pictures appeared and we had access to swimming pool, gym and sauna for free. They also allowed us to store our luggage in a secure room before and after check-in time. Very good location, close to the shops and bars but not too close that it’s noisy.

Comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good and caters to all. The facilities were good. Only problem is the booming music from across the bay, which you can hear from the room. I asked to move but had to wait one more night, and they only moved me a few rooms down. This isn’t the hotels fault but it should be more sound proof. There is construction going on next door but it’s not noticeable from inside the hotel, it’s not noisy or causing any issues. The bus stops right outside the hotel which is useful. Meget trevlig personal.stort værelse og rent med balkong til vandet. Sidste dag , sent fly hjem, lån af privat bruse badeværelse , god service. Mange liggestoler overalt, fint.

Perfect location for peace and calm and great views, but just a 2 minute walk to the heart of St Julian’s, where there is a lot to do. Staff were excellent and very friendly. There is a lot of construction of new hotels nearby, but this wasn’t disruptive during our time there. 100% we would return there.

Loved the hotel’s proximity to the bars and restaurants in the St Julian’s which is within walking distance and very safe even late at night. Friendly staff who went out of their way to action and resolve any queries. The only let down was the hotel’s breakfast service and the poor standard of the food on offer.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und die Zimmer wurden täglich sauber gereinigt. Auch die ganze Hotelanlage war sauber, allerdings ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. The hotel is well positioned whether you like the night life or more tranquil settings overlooking St George's Bay. Only slight down side which is no fault of the hotel, was the building works going on opposite. But that is like much of St Julian's.

The property was was excellent and so were all the staff. The only critic i would share is i recommend at breakfast fresh eggs being cooked on demand and also fresh omelettes. Also being bed and breakfast, maybe offer some discounts on onsite restaurants.

Fantastic stay. The facilities are amazing with so many different areas you can explore. We could easily have stayed at the hotel the whole day and not gone into town. The breakfast was great with a range of hot cooked food, and the setting was superb with outdoor dining. Our room was spacious although some of the decor is a bit old fashioned, but everything was clean. We got a free bottle of wine which was a very nice touch, and we also enjoyed the terrace in the evening and the morning. The service was polite and professional. There are also many restaurants to choose from. We didn't want to leave!

The hotel has three shared pools with its neighbouring hotel (one of which is adult only) and access directly to the sea. It has several in site restaurants, a cafe and bars. We only ate in the restaurant once for dinner and it was expensive and pretty average. The breakfast buffet is ok - decent variety, but awful coffee, so we ended up using the hotel cafe each morning. We had a superior sea view room, which was spacious and well equipped, but be aware these rooms can be on the ground floor with people walking directly past your patio and able to see into our room. On the other side of the hotel is a large building site where other hotels are being constructed. We didn’t hear any noise from this (no work at night) but I imagine if your room faces it it’s less appealing. The staff were very helpful, particularly the manager, and arranged for us to be moved when there was an issue with our room. Finally, we had not realised when we booked that a few hundred metres away is Paceville, which is the party capital of Malta. Think Magaluf, with fewer Brits and more Europeans - hordes of 16-25 year olds, banging bass music, discarded pizza and rubbish everywhere in the morning. The Maltese do a good job of cleaning it up quickly, and it’s a very good natured scene, but you can definitely hear the music from the beach bars in your hotel room at night - and it goes on until about 6 am. So bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. Overall, a lovely holiday and a good hotel.

Every single member of staff was polite, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone had a genuine smile on their face. Room was lovely and clean and the breakfast was excellent. We tried three of the restaurants and they were all good but the Italian we visited twice as the service and food were superb.

Lovely hotel, breakfast excellent, staff excellent in all areas. There is building work outside the front which is going to be amazing, didn’t bother us and is nearly finished. Would recommend.
