Landhaus Prielau - Zell am See

Overall our stay was fine: + Great garden with good facilities for kids, dining etc. + Quiet location and close to the lake. + Nice tv/game room for kids. + Instructions for things to do in the area. There were a few attentions points though: x We were surprised by the fact that we had to pay the tourist fee by cash. As far as we know this was not stated in the email instructions and with most accommodations this is already paid upfront. Only in the written instructions available at the accommodation this was stated so. x Owner only spoke German and not English (as stated). It worked out ok, but I was the only one who speaks German. If I was away this was a problem. x Photos of the accommodation were quite old. Things look quite different now. x The accommodation was clean(-ish), but we've seen a lot better. A lot of dust etc. was present. Therefore we vacuum cleaned the house twice a day, to keep it acceptable. x Only 1 dishwasher present. For 10-15 people you have to run it like 2 or 3 times a day. Also not suitable for big pans / bowls etc. x We were unannounced visited by family of the new owners. Probably the accommodation has been sold? This family did not ask for out permission to take a look at the accommodation, but did so otherwise. This was very strange. Besides this family a LOT of people came have a quick look at the house. This felt quite odd: as you are being watched. This affected our privacy.

Den meisten Bewertungen kann ich mich leider nicht anschließen. Wir waren leider nicht zufrieden mit dem Landhaus Prielau. Hier hat das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis leider nicht gepasst.Mit der Sauberkeit waren wir nicht zufrieden. In vielen Zimmern gab es mehrere Silberfischchen auch in den Betten sowie in der Küche. Im Essensraum hatten wir Ameisen. Es gab verschmutzte Vorhänge. Im WC im Dachgeschoss nistet ein Vogel in der Lüftung.Die Küche hingegen war gut eingerichtet. Es gab sogar Tabs und Waschpads. Wünschenswert wäre eine Brotschneidemaschine und etwas mehr Kühlkapazitäten. Die Messer waren leider so stumpf, dass wir am ersten Tag einen Schleifstein gekauft haben, um diese zu schärfen.Fehlende Instandhaltung und Wartung gab es an vielen Ecken und Enden. Die Fenster in WC sowie dem Bad im Erdgeschoss ziehen, trotz dass sie geschlossen sind. Der Ablauf der zweiten Dusche im Obergeschoss ist zu. Sehr viele Türen quietschen - die Tür zum Essensraum haben wir nach 2 Tagen selbst ausgehängt und geölt. In Selbigem fehlt eine Lampe. Das Doppelbett im Dachgeschoss knarrzt unzumutbar. In der Dusche im Erdgeschoss war der Duschkopfhalter defekt.Die Unterkunft ist für große Gruppen geeignet und ausgestattet. Wir werden aber nicht mehr wiederkommen.

Küche gut ausgestattet, gemütliches Wohnzimmer und großer Essraum.

Alles super.

Gruppe mit 6 Erwachsenen und 5 Jugendlichen. Das Haus ist dafür ideal mit schönen Schlaf- und Aufenthaltsräumen und einer sehr gut ausgestatteten großen Küche und es hatuns sehr gut gefallen.
