We had a fantastic stay at House Rustico! We were welcomed at the nearby Restaurant Vila Velebita with a complementary drink. Everyone was really friendly and the check in was really straightforward. The property is very close by and is in a relaxed, quiet location with plenty of parking and a nice place to sit outdoors. The room was super comfortable, very clean and we felt very relaxed there. The check out was very simple and was also at the restaurant where we had an excellent breakfast before our day at the Plitvice Lakes National Park. I highly recommend staying here!

Outside there is a sitting area with chairs, hammocks, shaded by tall trees, perfect for working on a laptop or reading — or just listening and enjoying outside. There are areas to walk your dog off property as well. The housekeeping staff were amazing — so nice, friendly and they keep the place impeccable. The owner’s mother was a total sweetheart! For food, their restaurant is just quick walk away and has a huge menu, and has options for non-meat eaters, both vegan and vegetarian (grilled veggies —mushrooms…..wow!). Don’t feel like walking? They have bikes you can ride. The National Park is a short drive away (suggest you make reservations). Our stay at House Rustico was the best stay of our whole time in Croatia.

Très bon séjour. On a eu droit à une petite maison:chalet. C’était très propre et bien équipé. Il y avait des tas de choses à disposition comme sièges transat, vélos, … le Check on ou put se font à deux pas.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property is in a quiet street, but only a few minutes’ drive from the national park entrances. Rooms are simple, but comfortable, spacious and well equipped. Beds and pillows were very comfortable, better than many accommodations I’ve stayed in. The lodging is under the same ownership as a nearby restaurant, where we had tasty breakfast and dinner, and friendly service.

Hotel Rustico is actually like a service apartment. I love the environment around, they provided more than enough household equipment. There also some leisure places to walk, bicycle for you to ride and swing for kids. The boss and his mother are very nice, we enjoyed our vacation there very much. However, the lighting system needed to be upgraded.

A fabulous small house with everything you could want and more than you would expect. Family owned & operated, and they were all very kind, informative, and friendly. Check in & out was at a nearby Bistro (amazing food and service) was quick and simple. They have multiple tables and chairs to hand out at outside the home, and relaxing hammocks. 10/10 would recommend and would return!

This property was perfect! Amazing hospitality! Delicious food at the bistro with a welcome drink. The property had thought of every detail - cookies and a candy basket, a kitchen with full dishware, a patio with a dog house and clothesline, a washing machine, showers in each of the three bathrooms, ample sleeping space and so much more! The owners/managers were readily available to help with any needs and were so friendly. I highly recommended this place! Wish we had more time to spend here. Also, easy driving distance to the National Park.

Check-in at Bistro, complimentary drink of our choice on arrival. Owner took us to the house which is situated in parkland a few minutes drive away. The room was very clean and tidy, had all amenities. We walked to the Bistro to eat - generous portions & delicious food. Richard was our server, he was very welcoming, attentive & spoke excellent English always happy to help with recommendations from the menu. We had some laundry done while we were there, very quick turn around at a very reasonable price - with a smile too. You need a car to stay & see the beautiful Plitvice Lakes. Everyone was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble - would definitely recommend.

Mooi gelegen op 15 km afstand van dichtstbijzijnde ingang 2 van het Nationaal Park. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Kamer in goede staat en zeer schoon. Sleutel ophalen en afleveren bij bijbehorend restaurant op een paar honderd meter afstand. Restaurant is aan te bevelen voor diner en ontbijt! Gratis mountainbikes beschikbaar

My wife and I were really impressed with House Rustico. The room and building was spotlessly clean and the room was very pleasant and comfortable. We had everything we needed in the room and there was some nice thoughtful touches like fresh fruit and complimentary sweets. Nice bathroom and shower and very comfortable bed. We met the owner at the Vila Velebita, which is his restaurant just around the corner from the accommodation. For reference the restaurant is on the main road, as you come from the north (having past Plitvice Lakes), it is on the right hand side just before the sharp turning you take to get to House Rustico. You stop at the restaurant to check in and you are given a complimentary drink, which includes anything from the drinks menu including alcoholic drinks. After enjoying our drink, we were given the keys and head around the corner (2 minute drive) to the room. At the room we are met by the owners mum who is very friendly. She showed us the room and put the heating on for us (slightly unseasonal weather for the time of year - mid May). As we were only there for one night we didn’t get a lot of time at the property but they had free bicycles for guest use and a nice outdoor area for sitting. Finally we went back to Vila Velebita for dinner and both the food and the staff were superb. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal I would highly recommend eating here during your stay. Just to note, the drive to Plitvice lakes is approx. 20 mins.

Habitación muy amplia, con frigorífico y hervidor. Echamos en falta una zona para cocinar, por lo que vimos en las fotos parecía que iba a haber. Había vajilla y aunque no había pila para fregar, el servicio te pone nuevos al día siguiente si pides que hagan la habitación. Todo limpio, camas grandes. Calefacción puesta para nuestra llegada, un detalle agradable.

Good value for money stayover location near the beautiful Plitvice lakes in Central Croatia. Not really en route to anything else than that though. We spent 2 nights and the room was basic but comfortable. The direct area around the apartment doesn't have that many options, so either take a drive to some other settlement, or consider the bistro associated to the facility, which is very decent.

Really cute location and nice people. The check in is at the restaurant where you are greeted with a welcome drink (of your choice). The room was quite nice. The bed was 2 twins made together, but this seems to be the standard throughout Croatia and Italy? Would recommend if you need accommodations near the Park (10 minute drive).

Check-in at Bistro, complimentary drink of our choice on arrival. Owner took us to the house which is situated in parkland a few minutes drive away. The room was very clean and tidy, had all amenities. We walked to the Bistro to eat - generous portions & delicious food. Richard was our server, he was very welcoming, attentive & spoke excellent English always happy to help with recommendations from the menu. We had some laundry done while we were there, very quick turn around at a very reasonable price - with a smile too. You need a car to stay & see the beautiful Plitvice Lakes. We had a fantastic stay at House Rustico! We were welcomed at the nearby Restaurant Vila Velebita with a complementary drink. Everyone was really friendly and the check in was really straightforward. The property is very close by and is in a relaxed, quiet location with plenty of parking and a nice place to sit outdoors. The room was super comfortable, very clean and we felt very relaxed there. The check out was very simple and was also at the restaurant where we had an excellent breakfast before our day at the Plitvice Lakes National Park. I highly recommend staying here!

This place is like a fairy tale, we absolutely loved Rústico! It’s so green, the little cabins and rooms are perfect for one or two nights to visit the park. The lady who welcome us was so sweet and nice. Also, the people at the restaurant were very nice and the food was incredible! Thank you for such a wonderful experience

Amazing service. The room was very clean, new and comfortable. There is a restaurant nearby (owned by the same person) and the food there is great — went there both nights. Plitvice lakes is nearby by car. We didn’t have a car, but the hotel owner drove us there for a reasonable fee! He will also drive you to the nearest bus station for free. We spent 2 nights and the room was basic but comfortable. The direct area around the apartment doesn't have that many options, so either take a drive to some other settlement, or consider the bistro associated to the facility, which is very decent.

Lovely rustic house close to Plitvice! Hosts were very gracious, even had a fire going in the fireplace to greet us! The restaurant owned by the host is just a short walk or drive away and is excellent food and an excellent value. We recommend House Rustico!

A fabulous small house with everything you could want and more than you would expect. Family owned & operated, and they were all very kind, informative, and friendly. Check in & out was at a nearby Bistro (amazing food and service) was quick and simple. They have multiple tables and chairs to hand out at outside the home, and relaxing hammocks. 10/10 would recommend and would return!
