Love staying here, on the edge of the main street, making everything in walking distance - bar beaches. Opposite 1 of the best RSL's in Australia that I have been too as a bonus. Being a historical building has a better ambience then a generic modern hotel and the staff are great. There are stairs only to the 2nd level so if you cannot do stairs, let the hotel know before staying.

Clean and probably better than the usual motel. Strange things were that there was a washbasin outside the bathroom and there was a noxious smell in the bathroom most of the time. Otherwise tea and coffee facilities were good and plenty of space in the room

Location is great and Erin at reception was welcoming and helpful. Room was generous and clean. Only drawback was that being in a downstairs room we could hear plumbing noises from all the units around and lots of noise from stairwell and room above.

We booked a 2 bedroom family room HOWEVER it was only 1 room. I guess it is listed incorrectly on Expedia :( Disappointed with this as it was pricey for a studio room. Air conditioner would not work first night, however pedestal fans were kindly provided by friendly staff. Location across road from RSL/River and restaurants nearby.

It was over priced for ehat we got. The TV is old and small and cannot connect to apps like Netflix etc. Had to make coffee in the bathroom which I think is not suitable for the price charged.
