Nice little hotels. Rooms weren’t overly large but had all that you needed. Our room was ground level. It had been redone nicely. Liked the x2 chairs outside each room to sit and enjoy the evening.

The room is clean. But, the 2 bright lights at every entrance door attract too many mosquitoes from evening onwards and these eventually enter the room. Hotel should consider lights at some other points. A/C is too noisy and do not cool for hours together.

I would describe our room as being shabby, e.g., the doorframes were really beat up and looked like they hadn't been painted in years. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. In the bathroom the toilet and sink were spotless, but the shower tub and surround were a littleiffy.

We were attending a wedding in Manitowaning and needed a room for the night. The property is clean, nicely maintained, and decorated outside with flowers. Check in was easy, and quick. Friendly staff. Our room was very clean, and had ice cold AC. The only complaint was it was a little bit small, but it is a motel after all. I did find the cost a little bit high considering, but in the middle of the summer with not many other options in town it makes sense. Overall a good stay at the Hawberry.

Die teuerste Unterkunft der ganzen Rundreise hat uns enttäuscht. Wir hatten ein Deluxe Zimmer im Haupthaus gebucht. Schon beim Betreten des Zimmers roch es sehr modrig. Obwohl wir das kleine Fenster die ganze Zeit offenließen, verflog der Geruch nicht. Die Einrichtung ist in die Jahre gekommen und der fleckige, vermutlich modrige Teppichboden gehört dringend erneuert. Die Lampe war verrostet und die Matratzenbezüge waren ziemlich fleckig. Richtig eklig. Das Management scheint das Office selten zu verlassen, denn es war nicht erwünscht, dass man nach dem Einchecken nochmals klingelt. Davon abgesehen war es Wochenende und das Motel ausgebucht, sonst hätten wir gleich reklamiert. Ich weiß nicht, wo die guten Bewertungen herkommen, denn wenn ich einen Deluxe-Room bezahle, dann erwarte ich zumindest ein besseres Zimmer. Einmal und nie wieder!

I really felt the room was way too small. The bathroom was claustrophobic. I had to maneuver around the sink to get to the toilet. I sat on the toilet and could rest my head in the sink. The water pressure in the small shower was very weak. Not enjoyable at all. The bed was comfortable and that was the only thing I liked about the room. Would not stay there again

Service at this hotel was spectacular. The person at the front desk asked about our trip, and when he found out, we would only be there overnight, he suggested we head to one of three hiking trails. We ended up going to Bridalveil Falls and it was amazing. beds were a bit soft, but everything was clean. A pretty basic hotel, but a great value. I would absolutely stay there again.

I liked the proximty to the boardwalk along the North Channel. It was peaceful. The motel was close to grocery store, and other shops. The area was quiet and ideal for relaxing after a long day of travel. All in all, I would stay here again if passing this way.

The Family room. 1 Queen size bed 2 twin beds, they were joined rooms by the washroom . Which was inconvenient. When we wanted to go to the other room we had to walk around the building ( when someone was showering or using the washroom.) we went Nov 24-25th 2024 . It was a downtown. 1min away from the gas station and Tim Hortons. The washroom space was 4ft wide and 8ft long. The beds were weird like they folded a blanket and put it under the sheets to make it softer. Tv worked great. The room was clean . The heat works well. The wifi was good. They did not have much of a view with the houses and trees on the way. The front desk lady didn’t say much and was not warm welcome. Just what’s your name,? Sign ? Hers your keys and just drop them off in the box in the morning. Check out is 10am. Check in is 4pm. It was over night stay. But to book for a couple days and the price of the room no. $250.00 for 2 adults and 2 kids (15.16) .

We stayed there early May..The room was very small but it was very clean.. The location is good with restaurants like Elliot's and the restaurant in the Manitoulin Convention Centre within easy wLking distance...It was our first time visiting Manitoulin Island. If we come back we'll be staying at the Hawberry

Restaurant very close for breakfast & dinner. Room adequate but very small. Getting from one side of the room to the other requires cooperation from both people. Bathroom arrangement was awkward and tight. But it worked fine for an overnight in a pricey area.

This is advertised as a cottage but is actually two rooms in a motel joined together with a shared bathroom. Clean and comfortable. A little expensive for off season but we needed to be on chi-cheemaun early next morning. Close to fuel and a great restaurant- Elliott's.
