We had been travelling & stayed at various Motels in 3 different states. This was by far the nicest Motel, with the best layout, kitchenette with extra tap & sink. Bigger fridge, with chocolates & chips, & alcohol available to purchase. We take lots of photos on our holidays, so need to load them each day, & the bench space was more than adequate.

Lovely and well maintained. Nice big room. Staff were pleasant. My only disappointment was that we stayed on a Sunday night and the restaurant was closed for dinner and for breakfast the next morning. Would definitely stay there again.

Found this to be spacious and cheaper than other sites in major towns en route to Sydney. The fridge was bigger , the water hotter and bed more comfortable. parking right outside the room door.

The hotel was ok. Check in simple. Room spacious and clean. Don’t go expecting to use the pool…, the water is green and looks like they abandoned trying to maintain it. Too bad, it looks like a nice pool.

The room was pretty standard and comfortable enough but because our stay was on Christmas day, there was no staff and the pool was closed. It would have been nice to know in advance as the pool area is nice and it was the main reason we chose that property.

Very clean! The only reason for 4 stars not 5 is because of no Restaurant or Room Service availabe on Sunday night and Monday morning. However, we did get a Continental breakfast and being on the main shops were a short walk away.

We would have loved to have stayed longer but it was a midway stopover for us this time. We will come back so we can enjoy the lovely rooms, pool and restaurant (licensed) for a few days! The rooms were huge and very very very clean. Service was wonderful. Thanks for having us.

The room was nice. But the 100's of tiny flies were a menace! To avoid the annoying flies, we had to leave only the bathroom light on to attract them out of the sleeping area.

We had a disability room which was huge and well equipped and very comfortable. It had a large lounge and dining area. My only complaint was that the power points were under the bedside tables against the wall. For anyone who was wheelchair bound I don’t know how they could be reached. Good location and helpful staff.

I was staying in room 14 the people next door where outside my room smoking drinking till late and being next to the stair case all I could hear where people running up and down all that stays in my mind is the smell of cigarettes and noise

The Thunderbird was everything we expected from a country motel and more. Spacious comfortable room with all the expected amenities. The staff had a welcoming country attitude and were more than happy to have a chat. I seriously recommend the Thunderbird Motel.

Beautiful big room, smelt amazing. Had everything we needed and more. Lady in the office And on the phone was lovely very helpful. Our breakfast order was wrong beautiful and plenty of it but I wouldn’t have told the cranky man who delivered it.

This place is just right for us. It is central to so many attractions, places and events in Canberra, Yass, Goulburn and especially our families. It feels like home and when we stay as we're not living in our family's pocket or expecting them to put t to accommodate us. The staff at.the Thunderbird motel are kind, helpful and especially attentive to our stay.
