This hotel is excellent value for the price. Very basic, but exceptionally clean and the staff were very accomodating. We had a very late check in (12:30 am) and the front desk waited for us to arrive. As a rural hotel in a small town the front doors were locked after 11:00 pm. For a place to lay your head, highly recommended.

Nice clean place with kind staff. We needed to check in early and they had no concerns with letting us do so. The lovely woman who checked us in even went up to our room to physically check that it had been cleaned and was ready for us. Hotel overall is older but well maintained. Mini fridge in the room was older and had a cracked handle, but bed, towels, and bathroom were all spotless so it was a nice stay. Secure place to stay - we returned to the hotel late at night and the front door was locked, but we were able to get into a side door with the key. Our room was upstairs; I didn’t see whether there was an elevator or not, but I’m sure you could call to check if you need one. Seems like most rooms you need to go up or down stairs to access. Thanks for the nice stay!

An ice machine with filtered water would have been nice. Had no ice. Bottled water in water dispenser was tap water not cool gave me diarrhea Front lobby locked at 9 pm very annoying. Other guests sports teams were loud and noisy. Tv was half dead in our room and they didn’t care

We stayed here for 4 days. I placed the clean room sign on the doorknob Monday came that evening and room wasn’t cleaned. Went down to front desk and asked if they can clean/restock for Tuesday the worker said ok. Left Tuesday morning came that evening room wasn’t cleaned once again. I went reminded them again about cleaning. Room wasn’t cleaned/restocked at all the 4 days we stayed here. Workers are never around it’s like a ghost town in here.

I was MOST impressed by the cleanliness of the room and especially the bathroom! I stay in a lot of hotel/motels and always find myself checking the corners etc. in the bathroom, and this was exceptional. I was pleased that for 2 people, they supplied 4 of each bath & hand towels and facecloths

I don't usually take the time for reviews, but this place deserves the effort. The staff! big shout out. Extremely welcoming, kind and informative from the moment I walked in the door. Everything was very clean. Bathroom was sparkling white with updated facilities. Bed and linen very comfortable and clean. Price was excellent. Definitely looking for a reason to go back. Highly recommend.

Pluses. Room large and air con good, bed clean. Area has some good food at the bars and restaurants...green bamboo chinese and roosters thai food were very good. Negatives. Our room 204 absolutely stank it had a really bad smell. Constant in there after a day in the sun with no ventillation it was rank. Only there for a few days. We put up with it as only there short time. It was mentioned to the manager. I hope the other rooms did not have this smell, carpets, garbage who knows where it came from.

One of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in. Excellent service and a nice quiet location. I felt very comfortable staying there and the amenities were excellent. Surprising amount of options for the complimentary breakfast as well -onlt wish it ran a bit later as I like to sleep.

This place is VERY dated. When we entered our room we nearly fell out of the room on our butts. The stench coming out of the room was beyond DISGUSTING. The mini fridge was open and on its side, the microwave was open and they were both venting. We were in a rush to get to an event, so we closed the fridge and microwave, opened the window wide and turned on the bathroom fan, thinking that the smell would be gone upon our return. About 5-1/2 hours later, we came back and the smell was still there. It was so powerful, it was gagging my wife. We picked up our suitcase, walked down the stairs (which smelled of fresh cigarette smoke) to the lobby - which was unattended (before 9PM) and just left the property. We drove home. That was a horrible experience. Hotels.com you need to be more involved in scrutinizing the properties you represent. This is the 3rd time we have been to one of your hotel/motels and the way the property is written up and reality are miles apart. To say that this property was a disappointment, would be a huge understatement.

Although the room was smaller then we like, and the bed was a double and not the advertised Queen, over all it was a nice place. They were able to help accommodate a special need we had and for that we were very grateful. It was clean and seemed fairly up to date. Overall, The room could have been bigger as well as the bed, but the stay was nice. But the trains though!! Wow. Didsburry is a very train heavy town, so the whistles were a bit much every two hours.

We recently booked several nights at the Didsbury Country Inn. The inn was easy to get to, and conveniently located near many of the areas we needed to get to. Staff was very nice and helpful with check-in and any questions we had during our stay. The inn is well-maintained, and our room was very comfortable and clean. There is a Subway attached to the inn, with other dining options within a couple of blocks. We will certainly stay here again if we have the opportunity to be in the area during any future trips.

Very friendly staff at check in (even offered to carry my bag to my room!) clean room, hallways and lobby. Lots of coffee pkgs and also lots of shampoo, soaps and lotions. Very comfortable bed with a great assortment of pillows in different sizes. Breakfast minimal, but sufficient. Overall-great stay!

The hotel was clean and surprisingly quiet in spite of it being full. The only down side was that we booked through Hotels.com and received confirmation from them , however when we got there they said we had not booked any rooms. Fortunate for us they still had two rooms available.

The front desk is not open 24 hours. They close at 9pm. I was traveling for a sales event. I found It was difficult to coordinate my travel plans, the event hours, and the office hours. I arrived early to see if I could check in, around 1:20pm. There was no staff at the desk and the provided bell did not work. I had to call the hotels number before someone came to the desk. The room wasn’t ready but thankfully I was given a key so I could go straight to the room after my event. In the room I noticed that it smelt of chlorine, otherwise the room was clean.

We recently booked several nights at the Didsbury Country Inn. The inn was easy to get to, and conveniently located near many of the areas we needed to get to. Staff was very nice and helpful with check-in and any questions we had during our stay. The inn is well-maintained, and our room was very comfortable and clean. Although the room was smaller then we like, and the bed was a double and not the advertised Queen, over all it was a nice place. They were able to help accommodate a special need we had and for that we were very grateful. It was clean and seemed fairly up to date. Overall, The room could have been bigger as well as the bed, but the stay was nice. But the trains though!! Wow. Didsburry is a very train heavy town, so the whistles were a bit much every two hours.

Right near the Main Street, easy walk to everything. always clean, staff are always willing to help. Awesome breakfast to choose from in the morning. A park right behind for kids to play. Doors are locked and you have a key to get into the building so no one else can get in. Subway is attached so easy dining for something quick. I always stay here and love it every time !

Motel was clean and comfy. I arrived late and was greeted by a super nice front desk lady. Check in was great. Tv would not connect (fixed the following morning). No parking as there was a hockey game. Breakfast was simple and not too many healthy options. Basic room for the rate.

We were greeted by Charlene upon checking in and was made to feel right at home instantly. Our room was neat, clean and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast is a "toast" bar, which included bagels, toast, muffins, etc., but also yogurt, cereals and fresh fruit. We plan to stay here again the next time we are in Didsbury.

One of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in. Excellent service and a nice quiet location. I felt very comfortable staying there and the amenities were excellent. Surprising amount of options for the complimentary breakfast as well -onlt wish it ran a bit later as I like to sleep.

I travelled to AB from BC with my sister for a wedding and a room at the Didsbury Country Inn was SUCH a good deal. We weren't sure, but reading reviews it sounded really hopeful. And it exceeded expectations for a small town inn!! It is a little old fashioned and nothing fancy, but the room was definitely very clean and tidy - both the bedroom space and the bathroom, I was very impressed. And the ladies at the front desk were lovely and very helpful! The comp breakfast was good, but with minimal options - I'm gluten free so I struggled a bit to find options, but it was still great to have as an option. Overall it was a great spot to stay the weekend! Thank you Didsbury Country Inn!!

The staff was very friendly and the room was above my expectations. They keep the whole property tip top. There is also a subway attached to the hotel so there's that wonderful subway smell in the hallways.

Was given a pet room as we had our dog with us, which is non shedding, as soon as we entered the room, the floor was sticky, i took some paper and wet it, and wiped the floor, it was filthy. went downstairs to advise, and she only said she would talk to the cleaning staff to do a better job, i fell we should have been given back our $30 for being in a dog room.

I enjoyed my stay and am thankful for this place. The front desk lady was simply amazing, friendly and caring. The lobby is clean and nice. The room and washroom we very clean. All appliance worked. There is a train that goes by but I honestly only noticed it once. I would recommend staying here.
