Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Granite. Friendly reception staff, attentive and the bed was super comfy. My only request as a motorcyclist, please sweep the parking lot as it’s extremely hazardous with all the loose rocks and scree as I saw an older couple slide and almost Go down getting out of their car, and my bike was slippery trying to get into a parking space. Other than that it was a great stay.

Our biggest draw to stay here was due to that the facility was pet friendly. The staff are extremely friendly and courteous. Comfortable sleeping and shower is awesome with lots of pressure!

This is a good, clean motel in a good location. Room seemed well sound proofed. TV sucked but that was no issue for me. Breakfast was adequate, coffee was good. Outside seating was not good / no shade or umbrella and chairs are not comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay and the staff were helpful and friendly. We appreciated all the surrounding green space to take our dogs on walks. My suggestions are to have fresh brewed decaf coffee and less sugary cereal (bran flakes). The banana bread was excellent.

We had a lovely one-night stay. The place is a bit dated and basic, but a good value. The staff members were wonderfully friendly and helpful. The Continental breakfast was nice, and the park-like setting was great for taking the dog out. We will plan this for our stops in the future.

Our second stay was even better than our first at our lovely, cozy haven just this side of the US border. We got to know our host a little better, took a lovely stroll on the wooded trail, enjoyed the sunset and some of the best seafood at a nearby restaurant. Free continental buffet, an unbeatable price, cozy bed, clean bright bathroom and a quaint little window nook for us to eat, play cards and for me to catch up on my office work, overlooking the gardens full of hummingbirds. This is a rare treat… a comfortable, vintage-elegant little spot with a welcome home vibe, backlit with beautiful music always playing in the lobby. Thank you Renée!

The first floor rooms are very noisy with second floor foot traffic. The bathrooms are showing signs of mild and mildew and need a deep clean. The staff are great but the facilities definitely need an upgrade. It is one of a few options so perhaps resting on their laurels. Musty smells were some of what we experienced and heard from others. As with other older hotels, they need to update the decor and HVAC. VERY close to the highway on ramp so quite noisy. Allow pets so we’re woken up by barking at 0700 hours. Again one of a few options but they need to step up their game.

Staff were wonderful. The interior could really use an upgrade. There was lime growing on the toilet paper holder. There was toothpaste smeared under the tap faucet. My friends room had a brown smear stain on the bedspread. And we struggled with our toilet not flushing which was very embarrassing.

The front desk attendants were helpful and courteous. The continental breakfast was okay. But the rooms were NOT up to any standard that I could see! The smell as we entered the room was musty so thought if we turned on the A/C and put on the fan we could atleast get some fresh air, that made it worse!! There were hairs on the bathroom floor and around the side of the tub (not belonging to me or my bf). Glad they didnt charge us for the 2 other guests...a spider and a large centipede in the tub! This will be the last time we ever stay in this location!! Do yourself a favor and pay a bit extra for a more upscale place in St. Andrews!!

In mid July we stayed in Room 114, which was great. Quiet, despite being near the highway, good AC, reasonable breakfast, pleasant staff. All round good. We stayed there again in early August in Room 115. This room's AC unit was incredibly noisy, rattling all night, waking us up, keeping us awake. We mentioned this to the staff the next morning. They said they'd look into it.

The property is well maintained inside and out. The staff is very pleasant. However, I am not sure how old the mattresses were. Mine had a noticeable dent in the center and was most uncomfortable. I finally put my extra pillow in the center to try and level out the mattress. Felt like I was trying to sleep in a ditch! The stopper was broken, yet available for use. Had to use one of the washcloths as a stopper. The towels and sheets were terribly thin.

Room was clean. If you like 1980 decor you will love this place. The mattress was like sleeping in chunky mashed potatoes. We requested a different bed and room at any level to Chet a firm mattress due to health reasons and the request was not granted. Breakfast is continental. Would not stay here again.

I had requested a room on the main floor as I have a disability. This was not fulfilled and there was no attempt made by the individual at check in to address the request. They were fairly abrupt in their answers and seemed to be more interested in another task that they were immersed in when we walked in. They had no other supports that they could offer i.e. a bath chair and all they could offer was a mat and a grab bar that needed suction and would not fit on the wall at all. I was disappointed.

A great stop with our dog en route to St. Stephen border crossing. St. George is a cute seaside town between big city Saint John, and upscale resort St. Andrew by the Sea. The property is a family run (not chain) hotel, very nicely maintained but not super modern. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The continental breakfast was serviceable.

This hotel is very convenient for those going to Grand Manan Island via the Blacks Harbor Ferry. (It is however 77 miles from Campobello Island , not 17 miles as Hotels.com lists it). Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Many dogs and we had one but several people had their dog off leash both inside and out. Checkin did not mention anything locsl until we asked and they said there was a huge fireworks at the town school then gave us the. Wrong directions. Asked for local map and there was none. Asked for good restaurant and they told us right directions but it was 3X further out then they said so we were quite confused. Nice place and staff was very nice but did not seem to know the town and local area Breakfast was toast andsome cereal and yogurt and apples/bananas. Adequate but not industry standard. All couldhave been forgiven but Coffee tasted like very bad instant. Worst my wife can remember having. Atrocious
