Said there was a restaurant on property and there is not. They did not serve breakfast either. The drywall in the bathroom was falling off there were stains in the toilet the sink drain lock was not there and broken. I would give this place two out of five stars.

Zero complaints, nice clean rooms, good water pressure, very friendly and helpful front desk staff, comfortable bed with various pillow firmnesses. Has a fridge, microwave, desk and plenty of extra seating and space. Exactly 10 miles from The Caverns concert venue with optional outside company shuttle services. Well lit parking lot with truck parking, Pilot truck stop 1/4 away with a 24 hour Wendy's inside. Hotel itself offers vending and snacks/drinks in the lobby for sale. Similar quality to the local competition at half the price, I've stayed at 4 hotels in this town and this one is among the best. Well worth the price for the 2 days I have stayed. Will 100% return here. Very happy with my stay.

The one ice maker was on the fritz. It put out about a cup of ice in the 10 minutes I was there. Regardless of if it had been broken(it was beeping like it needed service) or was just over run by people using it, one ice unit for the entire complex is far too little.

Let's get it straight: this is the Monteagle Red Roof Inn. Please lower your expectations. It is a cheap but convenient place to stay if you need to be in the south Cumberland region. It is very near the freeway. The lighting is terrible and the amenities are few. But you get what you pay for, and here, you don't pay much.

Bathroom fan was broken/loud and dirty, the bathroom celing had mold. No hand soap. Stains on both beds. There was a bag over the smoke alarm. The key card wouldnt scan a couple of times. And it took the front desk clerc 15 mins (while they were loudly putting food in the microwave) to give back the card at the end of the week.

Room not clean. Stains on the comforter which we immediately threw to corner of room. Towels smelled clean but looked like someone had changed their oil with them. Bathroom was not clean. Paint was flaking off walls. Tv was hanging crooked. If it wasn’t so late when we arrived and only staying one night, we would have left to find another place.

Very run down! Dried toothpaste on our sink. Beds very uncomfortable. Fortunately this was just a stop to get a few hours sleep. Sheets were clean, otherwise we probably wouldn't have stayed. Mold/mildew in bathroom. Didnt use shower . This place needs complete renovation. Not sure how they are passing their inspections.

The room was quite literally NOTHING like the pictures provided. We purchased a king bed deluxe room (non smoking). The room was falling apart. The whole place smelled like cigarettes. There were cigarette burns on the sheets. Stains everywhere on the bed. Mold everywhere on the ceiling of the bathroom. The shower curtain bar was falling off the wall. The hanger for your clothes was falling out of the wall. This was a horrible room that I wouldn’t even give to a homeless person.

We got there and there were cockroaches all over the room. We asked for a second room, and there was even cockroaches in the second room. We didn’t even stay there. We had to go to another hotel.

Staff was super friendly and nice. Linens were older with some stains, but they were clean. Beds were hard and made a lot of noise when turning over. Refrigerator worked great. Parked right in front of our room. Beautiful landscaping, even had birdfeeders in front.

Got to room 112 and the inside of the window was cracked. So I went back to the front desk and mentioned it to the lady. She was agitated that I brought it up and said she didn’t want to argue about it. I get that widows aren’t cheap to replace but come on, wouldn’t it be nice to know so you could have it fixed? I asked for a different room and she gave us the room Nextdoor. Inside the room had fresh paint and newer furniture but the beds were old and uncomfortable. The sounds of the interstate could be heard all night and made for a rough night of sleep.

The building is a bit dated but it was renovated so there are new and old components to the room. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The only curtain in the room was a heavy curtain that blocked out the light so anytime I wanted privacy it was very dark in the room. I wish that there was a lighter more transparent curtain for privacy like other hotels.

Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. I stayed here overnight while traveling, so thankfully I wasn’t there for long. Check in took forever even though the room was already booked and paid for. As soon as I opened the door, the room had a terrible stench. It was a non smoking room, however you could smell the lingering cigarette smoke on the walls. This was the NASTIEST place I have ever stayed at. Both beds were gross- they both had what looked like blood stains and one of them had a coating of dirt on it. Thankfully I had sheets and a pillow with me so I used those over it, otherwise I would not have slept in that bed. The towels also appeared to have blood stains on them. I didn’t even want to touch them. I’m glad I was only there for one night- I would not have been able to stay one more day there.

Quiet area. Rm 207 upstairs non smoking. Nothing special or spectaular but also acceptable. A bit outdated however the room was clean and did not smell of smoke. Towels appeared to be clean but had some stains. Bed was comfy. Check in easy and the lady seemed nice. No coffee in lobby area but there was a small coffee maker and coffee packet in the room. I would stay here again.

We Had two rooms..both with some new updates and new paint. Both a/c units were very loud when cycling and running but cooled OK. One room though ‘non smoking, smelled of smoke. One bathroom had what appeared to be mold on the wall between the toilet and shower, and a very loose toilet seat. Bed was OK. Motel was convenient to highway exit. We did find a great place to eat… Mountain Goat Market about two miles away. Upon arrival we checked in and met Archie ( the puppy) ..the highlight of the stay.
