Very easy access and convenient motel on our way to the east coast. Very friendly and helpful staff, quiet room and good breakfast. The EV charging station is another reason we stayed here, our car got fully charged over night. Meet all my expectations, highly recommended.

Clean room and the basics covered this is a good overnight option. Breakfast is purely continental. Staff are really good and professional. Room had tv with a good Vidéotron cable package. Wifi seemed good. Fridge worked but no microwave. Bed and linens were comfortable and I had a very good sleep.

Having stayed here a number of years ago, i notice that there have been renovations and decorating done to the interior - dining room, lobby, and rooms. It has all been done very well and tastefully. I imagine that as a privately owned property, they have to make improvements as they can and have, rightly, prioritized the interior. I look forward to see what they do with the outside, where I imagine they'll work on next. I'll be back, for sure. Lovely people, and a great spot.

The rooms: Unbelievable. The pictures didn't do it justice. We had the family suite. It was beautifully renovated, very clean, very spacious and there was nothing missing. Staff: absolutely lovely. They were all super nice. We felt so welcome when we arrived and the cleaning ladies were sweethearts. Location: Ideal. Less than two minute drive from the charming town of La Pocatière, so it was very quiet but close to everything. And there was lots of parking! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone travelling by La Pocatière, it was way nicer than lots of hotels I've stayed in.

Helpful and friendly service. Very, very clean. Level 2 EV charging available for a fee. Continental breakfast was lovely. Very happy with our decision to stop here for a rest. Without hesitation will stay here again if opportunity arises.

This place is a gem. We arrived a little early which was not an issue. I speak little to bad French and the person at the desk, who may have been the owner, spoke no English, yet a combination of smiles, nods and a smidge of google translate made for a hassle free check in. When he realized that we’d be leaving before breakfast he insisted on putting together a breakfast to go for us which was a really thoughtful touch. The room was spacious and clean and the bathroom looked recently renovated but with a designer touch. The room had a fridge and microwave which was a much needed plus. The beds were super comfy, the room dark and location quiet. Too bad we only needed to stay for one night. A lovely, characterful place.

The « loft » is very nice but not very well insulated for the noise. i can feel/hear and understand the person walking/talking in the next room and in the lobby. If I was to have hot, hard s*x, everyone would hear it. Especially the bed.

It was good for a one night stop over. The beds weren’t the greatest but it was only for one night. The bathroom sink area should be replaced just because of the way it looked wear wise. We left our bike on the back of the car and we were worried about doing that but it was ok. Sunday night was hard finding a place to eat.

The room is okay, but needs upgrading. Theres a new owner and the fees have gone up and does not warrant such a high price for what you get. We had our dog and they increased the cost to 25$ from 15. Used to have 5 rooms for pets now only 1 room. Breakfast is okay, but closes at 9 with no more flexibility.

Je suis arrivé a 13hr30 et je venais de faire 600 km au volant. Ils on refusé de me donner une chambre sous prétexte qu'il n'était pas 16 hr. C'est certain qu'il y avait au moins une chambre de prête um dimanche après-midi mais ils n'ont rien voulu savoir. J'ai donc continuer ma route et jamais pris la chambre.

Even though existing reviews state that the people at this facility speak English, this was not our experience. The check in person responded to our questions in 100 mile an hour French which we did not and could not understand. We were stuck searching for our room in a facility with a confusing layout. In an economy where we are encouraged to spend our money in Canada, this place doesn’t seem to get it. We will not stay here again.

Arrivée tardive donc, la clé de notre chambre devait être dans un boitier à l'entrée. J'avais appelé dans la journée pour avoir le code et le numéro de chambre .MAIS ,c'était la clé d'une autre chambre dans la boite, nous nous y sommes rendus en pensant que notre chambre avait été modifié mais il y avait des gens qui y dormaient déjà...Le numéro de tél. indiqué dans l'entrée, en cas de problème., est celui de l'accueil où il n'y avait pas de personnel pour répondre. Heureusement que la dame de l'hôtel m'avait rappelé avec son numéro personnel dans la journée pour me donner les infos, j'ai pu la joindre à ce numéro et elle s'est déplacée pour nous donner la bonne clé. À part de nous dire qu'ils étaient désolé, il n'y a rien eu d'autres pour compenser les désagréments. Pour la propreté, repas etc, c'était bien.

This motel is right off the highway. If you are looking for a pitstop after a long drive this motel is clean and safe. Nothing fancy. Basic continental breakfast is served. You have to drive into the very small town of La Ponitiere for something to eat. The only place open was a sports bar and you have to be over 18. It was actually quite good and a good place to eat after a long day of driving.

Motel Le Martinet albsoltely lives up to all the great reviews. My "vintage room" was impeccably clean, with new bed, sofa & bathroom. Nothing dingy about it at all which is always the traveller's fear with older establishments. The vintage feel is part of this motel's charm. The young woman at reception was very friendly & welcoming. Although I didn't stay for breakfast, I saw there was a nice variety of food. Great place to stop on the way to the east coast - not far off the highway and easy to find. But still in a quiet area for a good night's sleep. I'll definitely be back!

Not a very good location for people who take the Orleans Express Bus to La Pocatiere because they will have to walk quite long with their luggage. If the hotel can offer a free pickup/drop off at the Bus station, it will be much more attractive and competitive to the other hotels in the area.

Nous sommes restés 2 nuits. Le déjeuner est inclus mais le deuxième matin nous avons appris à nos dépends que le déjeuner ferme à 9:00 AM. En expliquant à la jeune fille que nous aurions aimé être au courant, La jeune fille nous a dit qu’on avait qu’à demander, qu’on allait le savoir la prochaine fois. Il n’y aura pas de prochaine fois. L’endroit était propre, tranquille mais le service…. Je vais tenter ma chance ailleurs la prochaine fois.
