This lovely property sits on what appears to be a former estate in what looks to a former San Diegan to be mid- to late-century suburban area. The property has mature landscaping, gardens, walkway and a large pool. The room we had was freshly and tastefully appointed in a mostly consistent style. It was large with a large bathroom (in-tub shower), excellent bed, small writing desk with small chair. This particular room had an outstanding balcony that overlooked the pool. So lovely in fact that one is reluctant to mention the negatives. The staff was helpful, though English was not outstanding, and the availability of an excellent on-prem restaurant added to the convenience of its relatively proximity to MRS. That said, be advised that there is no elevator; carrying a 50 lb bag up the stairs to the 2nd floor substituted for an exercise room. The front gate (and front door of the facility) requires keyless entry & even with GPS you may drive by it a few times before discovering it. (If you drive into an adjoining apartment/condo complex on a dirt road, you just passed it). In our room, the bathroom had a window looking into the bedroom that may reveal makeup, shaving and other secrets of personal grooming. There was a small chair for the writing desk, but if a couple visits, one will be sitting on the bed. Wunderschöne und perfekte Lage für Ausflüge in die Provence. Familiengeführtes Hotel, die Besitzer und das Personal sind überbordend freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das angeschlossene Restaurant kocht sehr gut und sorgfältig. Wer jemals unter den alten Platanen im wunderschönen Park bei einer Flasche Rosé gesessen ist, wird diese Momente nie vergessen!

Very convenient location for a late flight arrival to MRS. Wedding celebration went to midnight with loud music otherwise lovely place! Pool needed to be cleaned for this swimmer guest.

Sehr schöne Parkanlage mit großem Pool, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, moderne saubere Zimmer. Essen kann man in entspannter Atmosphäre unter schattigen Kastanienbäumen, gute Küche. Nicht weit zu Stränden zum Beispiel in Carry. Nähe zum Flughafen praktisch, dafür gibt es eben etwas Fluglärm, hat uns aber kaum gestört.

A charming property which is a little oasis in an otherwise residential/industrial neighbourhood. The property is gorgeously presented despite its age and is overall well maintained. Giles and Luisa, the owners, were incredibly welcoming and friendly - as were any staff with whom we interacted. The room was equipped as standard with air con, fridge, safe, towels, toiletries and tea making facilities - everything was of good quality. During our (summer) stay, the weather was hot so only a sheet was provided, but I’m sure blankets would be available at other times. The pool and surrounding area were well maintained and excellent for some summer sunbathing and swimming. There is not much to see or do outside the property walls unless you have a car or taxi - but it is very well situated for the airport - a 12-minute taxi away. We would gladly stay again!

Stayed here the night before we left France because I wanted to be near the airport, but had seen many cars in Marseille with smashed windows and got worried. Glad I did! It's a lovely hidden oasis. Staff are nice, beautiful grounds, nice pool, rooms are perfect. However my family and I had a very early flight and they also, apparently, do parties outside - there was really loud music until midnight. I asked them to turn it down and no one did. Wish I'd been warned.

Staff so friendly and helpful. They are obviously very proud of their property and anxious to share with guests. They went above and beyond to please. There is no elevator and many stairs. People with mobility issues would not be able to stay here.

The property is a beautiful mansion with a big swimming pool, large garden, and outdoor seating for onsite restaurant. It's very dreamy. The room was spacious and the bathroom had a large tub, shower, towel warmer, and double sinks. The hotel hosts quite a few events so it's nice to see people congregating in the outdoor space. One negative thing is that there's no elevators. We were on the 2nd floor which was not a problem with one flight of stairs but it seems there are other floors in the hotel, and it would be hard for some people without having an elevator. The other thing is the garden--which is beautiful--could use some TLC to bring out its beauty.

We stayed in several hotels throughout France. This was the one we felt most cared for. The staff totally nice. The food offered was good and an excellent value. The room clean and comfortable and updated. Everything about this place was top notch and the price was the topper.

Wir hatten ein schönes großes Zimmer mit Blick auf den Pool, es war sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, ebenso das Bad. Leider gab es im Badezimmer keine Aufhängemöglichkeiten für die Handtücher, keinen Duschgelspender sondern abgepackte Sachets. Das Hotel liegt sehr abgelegen, man kann entweder dort essen oder sich im Ort, 25 Minuten Fußweg, eine Pizza abholen. Wir haben kein zu unserer Zeit offenes Restaurant gefunden. In der Nähe befindet sich auch ein Bäcker, der belegte Baguettes und Pizzen ect. anbietet. Das Frühstücksbuffet im Hotel war sehr überschaubar, aber das Personal war sehr nett und freundlich, wir waren vier Nächte dort und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Die Unterkunft hat einen schönen Pool mit großem Garten, am Abend ist das Restaurant sehr gut besucht.

Tout était parfait lors de notre séjour. Un joli domaine avec un bel extérieur, de grandes chambres confortables, une salle de bain spacieuse et rénovée, un bon petit déjeuner et un accueil chaleureux. Nous n'avons trouvé qu'un petit défaut : l'absence de rideau ou volet sur la fenêtre de la salle de bain (notre salle de bain n'ayant pas de porte, nous avons été réveillés un peu trop tôt par la lumière du jour).

Séjour très agréable dans un cadre magnifique. Ma chambre était très spacieuse et cosy. La salle de bain était immense avec douche et baignoire. Le personnel est extrêmement serviable et le restaurant est également très bon.

Enjoyed the stay as I needed a place close but not next to the airport. It was only a 15 min drive for my morning flight. The restaurant was great and the room was perfect, with a nice view over the property and working AC. The staff was welcoming and helpful. I’d certainly stay again if in the area.

Tout est charmant dans cet hôtel : le cadre, les chambres et le personnel. On se sent bien dans cette bâtisse aux allures de grande demeure familiale. Le seul bémol est le manque de double vitrage et de volets dans certaines chambres. Mais pas de quoi remettre en question le confort général !

The property is a beautiful mansion with a big swimming pool, large garden, and outdoor seating for onsite restaurant. It's very dreamy. The room was spacious and the bathroom had a large tub, shower, towel warmer, and double sinks. The hotel hosts quite a few events so it's nice to see people congregating in the outdoor space. One negative thing is that there's no elevators. We were on the 2nd floor which was not a problem with one flight of stairs but it seems there are other floors in the hotel, and it would be hard for some people without having an elevator. We stayed in several hotels throughout France. This was the one we felt most cared for. The staff totally nice. The food offered was good and an excellent value. The room clean and comfortable and updated. Everything about this place was top notch and the price was the topper.

A charming property which is a little oasis in an otherwise residential/industrial neighbourhood. The property is gorgeously presented despite its age and is overall well maintained. Giles and Luisa, the owners, were incredibly welcoming and friendly - as were any staff with whom we interacted. The room was equipped as standard with air con, fridge, safe, towels, toiletries and tea making facilities - everything was of good quality. Staff so friendly and helpful. They are obviously very proud of their property and anxious to share with guests. They went above and beyond to please. There is no elevator and many stairs. People with mobility issues would not be able to stay here.

We couldn't believe the price paid for how nice this place was, stunning rooms, view and pool - Just a couple of things that need working on. The old man on the front desk not very friendly at all, or helpful, but the owner was great, and so were the restaurant staff. There were people that just kept coming down the drive and using the pool, very loud, on their phones and quite intimidating (they weren't guests, I'm assuming friends / staff?), very out of place people for the type of hotel it was - Owner told them a couple of times, but it didn't seem to make much difference... Half way through the night, people coming in were making a lot of noise which woke us. Food overall was very good, just a few bits that need tweaking. We would stay again, providing that those people were not there, so hoping it was just a one off.

This lovely property sits on what appears to be a former estate in what looks to a former San Diegan to be mid- to late-century suburban area. The property has mature landscaping, gardens, walkway and a large pool. The room we had was freshly and tastefully appointed in a mostly consistent style. It was large with a large bathroom (in-tub shower), excellent bed, small writing desk with small chair. This particular room had an outstanding balcony that overlooked the pool. So lovely in fact that one is reluctant to mention the negatives. The staff was helpful, though English was not outstanding, and the availability of an excellent on-prem restaurant added to the convenience of its relatively proximity to MRS. That said, be advised that there is no elevator; carrying a 50 lb bag up the stairs to the 2nd floor substituted for an exercise room. The front gate (and front door of the facility) requires keyless entry & even with GPS you may drive by it a few times before discovering it. (If you drive into an adjoining apartment/condo complex on a dirt road, you just passed it). In our room, the bathroom had a window looking into the bedroom that may reveal makeup, shaving and other secrets of personal grooming. There was a small chair for the writing desk, but if a couple visits, one will be sitting on the bed. The staff were so sweet and so helpful! I wasn’t feeling my well so they brought up food from the restaurant, and even let us check in early! The property is scenic and about a 18 minute drive from a port with restaurants and shopping.

Sehr schöne Parkanlage mit großem Pool, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, moderne saubere Zimmer. Essen kann man in entspannter Atmosphäre unter schattigen Kastanienbäumen, gute Küche. Nicht weit zu Stränden zum Beispiel in Carry. Nähe zum Flughafen praktisch, dafür gibt es eben etwas Fluglärm, hat uns aber kaum gestört.

Nous cherchions un hotel proche de l\'aeroport pour un depart tot le matin....et de preference une propriete de caractere. Un petit peu difficie de trouver car le numero est difficile a voir, le portail ferme et la pancarte en biais. Les proprietaires sont tres gentils, nous ont offert un "upgrade" de chambre. Enjoyed the stay as I needed a place close but not next to the airport. It was only a 15 min drive for my morning flight. The restaurant was great and the room was perfect, with a nice view over the property and working AC. The staff was welcoming and helpful. I’d certainly stay again if in the area.

A lovely hotel in generous tree filled grounds. The swimming pool is a bonus although the surrounding furniture was not in good repair. Our room overlooked the front and was bright and fresh. Bed was comfortable and the linen nice. The bathroom was fine although a bit tired and the stone walls in the shower needed a better clean, where water had affected it. For us not enough places to hang things or spread out. We would recommend for overall pleasant experience and convenient location.

We loved everything about our stay. From the chickens on the grounds, to the pool, to the incredible staff. It’s a little off the beaten path but a great stay near the airport.
