Citadines Rochor Singapore

The property is in Little India and with the subway near by it was very easy to explore all areas of the city. A nice Indian restaurant right across the street. Although a small studio it had everything that one needed and was well put together. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool - it is lovely and we swam everyday. However they do need more pool loungers and chairs. They only have 4 chairs and 3 loungers for a good sized hotel. Although we did not use them it was nice to see quite a number of washers and dryers for people to use.

Great place to stay for a few days in Singapore. Centrally located with easy access to the MRT. The pool was such a great amenity after long days in the heat and humidity!

All in all, Citadines Rochor was a fine place to stay. Super convenient to the MRT meant we saved money on airport transfers, and made our way around Singapore on the MRT using a prepaid card with unlimited travel. The room was amazing, it had everything including cooker, washer/dryer, clothes horse for drying, iron, and much more. Water station with cold and hot water on each floor. A bit confusing to find initially, and an odd entry with a lift from street level to lobby on level 3. Once you know the setup it’s fine. On the edge of Little India there were endless food options (if you like Indian). We hadn’t stayed anywhere else in Singapore so we’re not able to compare cost or quality, but we were totally satisfied. Highly recommended.

Really nice place great staff and a really good size rooms.... good pool area and share kitchen area...the area was just ok which is a shame because the staff and place is really good... close to trains and quiet

Very nice stay our only issue was the lack of seating at the pool. Only 3 lounge chairs for such a huge building. I tried every day to get a spot with no luck. Especially since the pool is furnished where the only seating is in the shaded area all day. Not a place to stay if you enjoy getting some sun and lounging by the pool. But the staff were lovely and very helpful.

Property and rooms very clean and modern, offering many amenities, like iron, hair dryer, fridge, safe, extra pillows etc, The pool is wonderful and staff is courteous. They offer a laundry room, however cost for one load wash & dry too expensive ($18). Upon welcoming guests, they offered wine, but no non-alcoholic drinks in replacement for kids or for those who do not consume alcohol. Overall, great experience and located in area of fun markets of Little India.

This is a nice place with friendly helpful staff right at the beginning of little India. Not too far from attraction areas by taxi. There is public transport nearby but we just asked concierge to get us a cab to places including airport. Rooms are small but comfortable, modern and clean. Pool area is nice too.

The pool and the vending machine!!!

This property had a nice pool and a small gym, which was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was nice and cold. They offered flavored water and regular filtered water and ice in multiple locations which we utilized every day. The location is right next to an Indian market and a short walk to Bugis street market. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Worst possible place, avoid staying here. Has bed bugs and got bit within the first night of staying here. Place was dirty, neighbors were smoking even though a non smoking hotel. Only have cleaning services on certain days. Moved rooms because of cigarette smoke smell and second room had a sewage problem. Ratings on here are not reliable and place is not clean at all. Bud bugs avoid.

Nice hotel, but a little expensive for to the location. Room was clean, and staff was nice. They only clean 3 days a week, but was okay for us.

The hotel is generally clean and well-kept. I did spot a couple of tiny insects near the pipes in the bathroom, but it was minimal and didn’t affect the stay. The location is pretty good, there's a train station and bus stop nearby. Overall, a good experience.

-Room was much smaller than advertised in the pictures. -Bed sheets had hair strands and stains. -Rooms were run down (not well maintained) for a 4-star hotel considering the price we paid. -Hair dryer and iron box did not work. -Walls are thin so you can hear alot of noise in the hallways. -TV was tiny. Definitely not worth the price we paid.

Overall I enjoyed my stay. The place is clean and the bed sheets are a good quality cotton based bed was OK The room has a queen bed and on the sides is very tight for manovering. They had a very step staircase in the room which lead to a small plat form area seemed to me the add it last minute idea. when you get to the top of the stairs Your head nearly touches.the celling very odd Design In this area is Little India. All Indian shops hard to fined Europeans foods with out travelling at least three ks down the road. There is a Starbucks coffee but they don't sell much food and the cafes inside the building. This biggest bumber for me there is no food room Serives. You pay for the room that's it. I was upgrade d to my arrivel.

The shower water too low to was our hair. Bad shower. Room make up alternative days.

Everything was very good, except wify. Wify was either not getting connected or if connected, lasted only for few minutes. Even reception of our own data was very poor in the room we were alotted for. Rest nice location, great amenities, good staff.

The location was perfect. It is easy to access both bus and metro stations. I did not have time to use all the facilities such as the pool and gym, but it seemed neat and clean. The room was comfortable and enough to relax and do some work. I would go back to this place when I visit Singapore in the future.

Decent serviced apartment with good public transport nearby, check-in was seamless. Rooms were clean and adequately equipped. My room was facing the main road with some construction underway, so traffic noise was audible.

Central location with two mrt stations within 5 minute walk. Little India is lovely to amble around, Tekka hawker centre just across the road has definetley been a gem and have had some lovely delicious food thereThe room was clean, airy and had a lovely view( we were 10th floor overlooking heritage centre). The staff were friendly and helpful, a special mention and thank you to Aimi. Would definetely recommend and stay again.

Good location, clean, fine facilities, excellent service. A few things do that I stil will not come back to this hotel, unfortunately. – There is no wifi funtional enough to enable work. The network logs you off every five minutes, and you need to log back in. I messaged the customer service, was told that the IT department had been contacted and would "rectify the problem", and nothing more happened. – There is a small kitchen, but no way to do the dishes. No hot water – you are expected to carry that from a dispenser ten rooms away. The sink also is too small for the frying pan provided. – And the place is noisy. Soundproofing towards the outside is good, but the noise is internal. Both families with babies and people coming in late will wake you up.

Great facilities for travellers. Located close to hawker center and two MRT stations. Unfortunately upon arrival our air conditioning was not working properly. After two sleepless nights we were able to move rooms. Requested compensation three times from desk staff but kept getting told to wait for a manager that never reached out to us. Comfortable rooms orherwise

Great residence hotel, this is our 2nd time staying here. Definitely will be coming back. Great staff, Kirtana and Hafiz were excellent. We arrived in the early hours from NY, they helped accommodate us for early check-in and get us settled in a new time zone and place. Glad to be an ASR member! Walkable, safe and close to many great resto and MRT stations.

The staff went abouve and beyond

We stayed for two weeks, in a studio apt with living room/separate bedroom (9th flr). It's very well equipped and comfortable, with a mini kitchen, full sized fridge and washing machine/dryer. Overall location is good - you can walk to sim lim square & bugis junction. BUT the immediate vicinity has nothing except indian food. The mall attached to the hotel has nothing interesting: only saris, byriani meals and a giant math tuition center. There is ONE starbucks downstairs, and that's it. The hawker center (Tekka Market) across has 75% indian food. OK if you're into that. There's NO 24hr 7-elevens nearby, but there is Valuestore across the street, which closes at 9pm. We applied for parking next door, as we rented a car. Entering/exiting the parking needs patience: drive through backroads, make several turns, avoid jaywalking pedestrians, before getting on the main road. Once we got trapped 30mins in a long line of cars struggling getting out to the main road. The service is NOT great. Whenever we asked for something from the front desk, like an extra drinking glass or toilet paper, it never happened, or turns up a few days later if they remembered. It's not fantastic. Free grab-n-go breakfast is awesome, but we preferred eating at the rochor hawker center nearby. One more thing: the room seemed haunted. My wife kept having the same nightmares about 2 characters in the room night after night. We thought that was very odd. She never has nightmares, only in this hotel.

Fire alarms went off both nights. Were told to evacuate the second time, once out there was no communication from staff to let us know what was going on

We stayed at Citadines Rochor Singapore during our visit to the city and overall had a good experience. The hotel is conveniently located right near the MRT station, which made getting around the city super easy. The room itself was comfortable and had everything we needed for a short stay. The staff were generally friendly and helpful. The only downside was the wait time when requesting things like towels—it took quite a while for them to arrive, which was a bit frustrating. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay and a good base for exploring Singapore, especially the Little India area.

The hotel is located on the 3rd floor above the hustle and bustle of Little India close to public transport and with a small Starbucks just downstairs. Inside the rooms are cool and quiet and kept beautifully clean whilst being ecologically aware. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff. They are professional friendly and kind. I managed to lose my passport on my way to the hotel and after a 20 hour plane journey I was stressed and upset. Khine the lady on Reception went so far above and beyond to help and look after me I could never thank her enough. As it was I never found it but with the combined help of the hotel and the excellent people of Singapore I was issued with an emergency one in no time. I would love to return to this beautiful city and whilst there are many elegant and sophisticated hotels to choose this is where I will stay.

Excellent service

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the staff's approach to customer service. I found their interaction to be impersonal and robotic. For example, I was repeatedly told "Our check-in time is 3 PM" without any empathy or attempt to understand my situation. Additionally, the frequent staff changes at the check-in counter forced me to repeatedly explain my room status, which was frustrating and inefficient. Overall, the staff's lack of attentiveness and the constant repetition of information created a negative and unwelcoming experience.

The only criticism is there were no instructions for late night check in. We arrived after midnight & another guest hhelped us access the elevator.

Good location for metro access to airport and attractions. There's covered walkways for most of the way from metro station to hotel, so you don't have to worry about getting soaked if there's a downpour when your flight arrives. Excellent Indian food nearby.

Great location, nice size room, good ammenities including laundry, lovely pool, vending machine prices expensive. Great Hawker area over the road, MRT close by and Hop on Hop off bus stops outside

Fabulous hotel, convenient 5 min walk from Rochor station,(don't believe google which suggests somewhere else as the nearest station). Staff lovely. In Little India which is full of interesting eating places. Very happy with my choice for an overnight in Singapore.

Convenient location and easy to find food around the area. Closed to Bugis and little India just around the corner.

Although the room was small, it was completely adequate. The early check-in and late checkout were lifesavers after long flight. The location is very convenient for public transportation. Dining options steps away—large food hall! Good location and although not elaborate, quite nice and sufficient.

The location is near 2 bus stations and 2 mrt stations. It is very clean and the facilities are up to date. There is a free water dispenser every level. Highly recommended

Nicely located between two convenient MRT stations. Walkable to many areas- Little India Raffles Arab street. Hawker street nearby. Pool and gym area and a laundry all convenient.

Lovely hotel in Little India section of Singapore. Hotel is clean with lots of amenities. Doesn’t have a restaurant, but is in a mall with lots of food options and in a neighborhood that is full of Indian food options.

The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Breakfast costs 18 Singapore dollars per person, and what you get is absolutely ridiculous: a paper bag with a pear, yogurt, a muffin, and a dry croissant. It feels more like a lunchbox for a preschool kid than a hotel breakfast. There are no power outlets in the bathroom, and the pool area is tiny—only three sunbeds available, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this size. Our last night was a complete nightmare. Around 11 PM, a new family checked in and was extremely loud. I called the reception several times to get help. As a result, we couldn’t sleep at all. What a great example of “hospitality”—never again! This hotel clearly doesn’t care about guest comfort or service quality. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

Hotel 3* di recente costruzione (sembra più un bed and breakfast) posizionato in zona veramente molto comoda per visitare la città (ha 2 metro nel raggio di 5 mins a piedi). La colazione non è prevista se non un sandwich e un caffè in macchinetta a pagamento. Essendo degli studio di può mangiare tranquillamente in camera facendo la spesa nel supermercato al piano sotterraneo della struttura. Little India è caratteristico ma forse eviterei di andarci a cena. Con 15 mins a piedi si può raggiungere Arab Street dove ci sono diversi ristoranti e locali per bere qualcosa. La camera forse un po’ piccola per due persone e un po’ costosa (240€ a notte). L’hotel dispone di una piscina con sole 3 straio e purtroppo è poco battuta dal sole.

Location is great. You are in little India, Starbucks is a minute walk away. Bed is comfortable & rooms were quiet. With a grocery store across the street, frig & microwave having breakfast was pleasant.
